Aw. looby that's a great age gap he must be so excited to have a little bro and congrats to mad too, so all boys on the thread so far then?! It's funny everyone I know who has had a baby this year has had a boy, it's like 2014 is boy year.

I want a baby badger! (And a baby human!)

Keepontrudging · 17/07/2014 19:06

Mummy, lovey you see the wee one again :) sure all will be ok Monday and you can then relax :) and enjoy!

KateTheHuman · 17/07/2014 19:11

Yay congrats looby!!!!

mummy glad all went well with your scan!!! And don't worry about weight. My booking appointment they put me down for 3kgs lighter than scales at home said. I thought awesome. Then got weighed at my consultant appointment and that was saying the same as scales at home. So my notes say I've put on weight but I know from my scales I haven't. Professional scales can be wrong :-)

KateTheHuman · 17/07/2014 19:15

My clingy cat is refusing to jump on me. I don't know if it's weather or she's confused about mummy's body hee.

Loobyloo893 · 17/07/2014 19:27

Mummyk8, lovely you got to see baby again and get a little wave.

Sara, DS is very excited. He still thinks its a crocodile in my tummy but at least he now says a its a boy crocodile. Everyone I know who's had a baby recently has had a boy. And in my group of mummy friends from DS there's only one other boy and 6 girls. Our boys will find it hard to get dates when they're older Smile

rumisyum · 17/07/2014 20:00

Wee boys! Congrats Looby & Mad! How exciting that people are finding out already. Smile

And thanks for that link, Mad. Downloaded.

Cheshire, how thoughtless of the partner. I'm sure you managed to avoid her germs! Have a lovely weekend - your plans sound great.

Ooh, Shea butter. Thanks for the reminder to get some of that.

Aw, Mummyk8, how lovely you got to see the little one doing well. I'm sure all will be well with your procedure. Thanks

I love the baby animal idea! The range of animals 8cm long is pretty wild - including sea urchins & echidnas (which I'd never heard of!)

RPopz · 17/07/2014 20:33

I have reptilian legs too Kat! My eczema has reappeared there - but not on my face yet thankfully!! Shea butter is good, and the body shop hemp moisturiser (if you can get over the smell). I can't get on with Diprobase - that stuff is like acid on my skin!!

Lol @ Kate Grin

Great news on the scans and boy-bies Wink

Just been pram browsing with MrPopz and totally fallen in love with one... oops...

15+5

rumisyum · 17/07/2014 21:00

Which one, Rpopz? Do tell.

RPopz · 17/07/2014 21:04

Silver Cross Surf 2. Ohhgoditssobeautiful.

(price, less so Wink )

Keepontrudging · 17/07/2014 21:09

For what it's worth, in my last pregnancy my akin was really bad initially then went really soft and remained so for a long time after flo was born. Finger x this happens again and for all you reptiles :)

Rpopz - get it! A good pram is a good investment :) or perhaps eBay?

RPopz · 17/07/2014 21:13

Well apparently it'd last til bean is 3 years old... sooo it's rather cheap really haha!

KateTheHuman · 17/07/2014 21:30

I'm so worried about going pram shopping. I don't think hubby is prepared for the prices haha

rumisyum · 17/07/2014 21:33

Ooh, those are very pretty. I gave them a little admiring wheel about the shop the other day.

RPopz · 17/07/2014 21:36

Mr Rpopz was pretty taken with it too! He makes fun of me usually for always wanting the most expensive thing in the shop haha.

Saw a good deal in babies r us - Graco symbio pushchair, carrycot and car seat for £250!

KateTheHuman · 17/07/2014 21:45

I so want to go to babies r us! I fell in love with one of their cots but it's out of stock now. Grr.

HenriettaTurkey · 17/07/2014 21:58

I'm in love with the bugaboo chameleon 3. ££££££

Dec2013mummy · 17/07/2014 22:09

I really need. Good double buggy. I have loved wing able to just stick the car seat on the frame for a quick pop to the shops!! I haven't found one I have loved yet as I'm not a fan of the ones with the attachment underneath! I quite like the look of the mountain buggy duet but the price Shock
Anyone got any suggestions?

ViviPru · 17/07/2014 23:38

I'm torn over buggies. In the space of 2 days, the PIL offered to buy us a travel system of our choosing. This was totally unexpected, apparently they'd done it for DBIL when DN was born. Cue the green light that night for DH to satisfy his inner gear geek with something other than bikes or cars. We narrowed it down to the Phil & Teds navigator or a Mountain buggy (we live pretty rurally) and we're very excited at the prospect of the world being our brand-new-buggy oyster and being as to choose exactly the one we want without having to hand-wring over the cost.

Then the very next day my sister offered to GIVE us her Quinny Buzz Extra which is practically boxfresh still (she's a cleanfreak). Talk about happy problem, realise we're mega-lucky to be in this position, but still big dilemma!!

KateTheHuman · 18/07/2014 05:43

If you like the quinny accept that then PIL can buy you something else :-)

Camsie30 · 18/07/2014 06:44

I'm currently obsessed with the Uppababy, probably the Cruz as the Vista looks huge, but haven't tried either in the flesh yet. Waiting till after my 20 week scan/ completion of my building work to start buying anything. But have many saved eBay searches just in case....

Camsie30 · 18/07/2014 06:45

Oops 14 + 2

Saraswati · 18/07/2014 07:04

Im going to look at the joolz day after my 20 week scan, it's my favourite so far, I was tempted by the bugaboo cameleon but I tested it in john lewis and it's very low down. We have to go to london to see the joolz as they don't stock it locally so we've both taken the day off for our 20 week scan, it's in the morning, so we can nip to London for lunch and baby shopping after (if all is well)

Had weird dreams about seeing Jesus' hands through my belly last night then dreamt I was on Capri (love it there) anyone else have terrifying thunder storms?

17 weeks today :D
