Oh Swifey, I'm so sorry for your loss. All the best wishes to you & I hope you're being well looked after.

ChineseFireball · 13/07/2014 19:51

Swifey I'm so sorry for your loss Sad Thanks thinking of you xx

LadyC I have sent you a friend request on fb so I can add you to the group (if nobody else has already done it cos I'm so slow).

Engels we didn't sort the whole garage out. Just did an initial chuck-it-out sweep. same with the loft today. I'm shattered now!

Someone asked about baby clubs...sign up to them all to get the freebies trekking them you want to be contacted by email then unsubscribe from the emails. or set up a new email address just for baby club stuff cos sometimes there is useful stuff in there :-) definitely unsubscribe from bounty. They are a PITA. :-)

I think my previous bus put together a list of stuff you need for a new baby. I'll have a look and see if I can stick the document on here and the fb group.

ChineseFireball · 13/07/2014 19:51

trekking? *telling!!!

KateTheHuman · 13/07/2014 19:52

Swifey I'm so sorry! :(

LadyCottington · 13/07/2014 19:58

Thanks ChineseFireball!

One of the hospital staff at my scan tried to give me a bounty pack and seemed a bit taken back when I said I didn't want it. I figured they're just full of crap anyway.

I was looking at a list of clothing needed for a newborn the other day and I think my Mum has already bought it all Shock Every time I talk to her on skype she has bought/made something new!

Loobyloo893 · 13/07/2014 19:58

So sorry swifey. Thinking of you x

Cakebaker35 · 13/07/2014 20:03

swifey I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. Similar thing happened to me at 10 wks and I opted to have the surgical procedure (erpc) like madrigals. Was definitely the right option for me and although it was hard emotionally it did at least put an end to the physical uncertainty. Please pm me if you'd like to know any more x

Scoobsmam13 · 13/07/2014 20:04

So sorry Swifey

ilovelamp78 · 13/07/2014 20:27

Haha ladyc I live in Bristol, but I'm from the sticks so although I long for wide open green spaces and actually seeing the stars at night, I'm quite grateful for 24 hr tesco and a wide choice of places to eat and drink!!

cheshirem2b · 13/07/2014 20:30

So sorry swifey Thanks

What a busy day... Lots of fun stuff though. Went to DH last day of term at the cathedral (with lunch afterwards) and then all sat on the green while the kids played games. After that went for dinner just me & DH! Perfect Sunday! Shame it's Monday tomorrow!

mummyk8 · 13/07/2014 20:32

Just curious if anyone else has ever used or is using progesterone pessaries ( Cyclogest ) and if so did you have any side effects? I was prescribed them last Tuesday at my hospital appointment along with some other medications I'll need to take after my operation in 8 days :( until I'm 38 weeks.

LadyCottington · 13/07/2014 22:05

ilovelamp I know what you mean. As much as I don't like living here I'm going to be sad to give up my lovely beach view. I grew up in a small town and I think I crave big(ish) cities now. Even back home I moved to Wellington (the capital) as soon as I could! We went to Bristol last weekend and omg, the food! I was heaven. Vegan cafe for lunch and Lebanese for dinner Grin

mummyk8 My DH is a pharmacist and he said there shouldn't really be any side effects as it's a local application. Apparently if used rectally, they'll make you fart lots! Good luck for your operation, I'm sure it will go fine.

blizy · 13/07/2014 22:16

I have my dating scan tomorrow, I am so nervous and anxious. I have had three ultrasounds so far, but my god the nerves for tomorrow are off the scale. I'm in at 10am so at least it's early in the day. I also have a consultant appointment at 3pm, it's going to be a long day!
I'm 12 weeks today, yayGrin.

Dec2013mummy · 13/07/2014 22:18

Well inhalant been on for a few days and I am in tears and made and swifty's news. So sorry for you both. I just had to go and give Ds a quick kiss (don't think he was too impressed). This will sound ridiculous but I still feel so scared that I am doing so well this pregnancy after a. Gore doors time last time (I'm not totally symptomless but I can still get through a day in a fairly normal way).
Maybe it's the hormones talking here bit I feel like giving everyone a big mumsnet hug!!
On another note a close friend of mine is on her 2 week wait after ivf treatment and I really feel for her. This is her last attempt and I really do hope that it works out for her. She so deserves to be a mum.

Dec2013mummy · 13/07/2014 22:19

Lack of typing skills is obviously a problem though!

That was meant to say I haven't been on here for a few days and after a horrendous time in my last pregnancy. Sorry all!

Dec2013mummy · 13/07/2014 22:20

Oh and good luck blitzy. :)

15 weeks today

RPopz · 13/07/2014 22:23

15+1 (forgotten all day Wink )

Camsie30 · 13/07/2014 22:26

Good luck for tomorrow Blizy.

So sad to hear more bad news.

I told some very close family friends today, which was very nerve wracking. Everyone was pretty shocked, but once they recovered were so happy for me and have all sent me messages to say that they are supporting me. It's a relief and hopefully when I tell my other family, friends and work in a couple of week's time, everyone else will be positive too.

Hope that everyone has a good night's sleep tonight without crazy baby dreams xx

phoebs88 · 14/07/2014 03:59

Yay scan buddies Blizy! I'm in at 9 - so glad it's early, hopefully that means it will be on time, too!

Been woken up by a weird dream of giving birth to a cat Shock and now can't get back to sleep, arg!

Loobyloo893 · 14/07/2014 05:35

Morning all. I have my scan today too. Scary!
Good luck blizy and phoebs. I know what u mean though, only saw baby 10 days ago but still scared. I don't think it ever gets easier!

rumisyum · 14/07/2014 05:58
