Welcome newbies :) scoobs and cakws this is wonderful thread. Been so supportive and very funny too. Also very active! You will no doubt love it, as I do :)

Linda- my family originate 'fae Maryhill' so You can see why I handle the hard knocks of life! I'll be thinking of you Friday. They will talk through everything thoroughly and are really reassuring.

KeepOnPloddingOn · 09/07/2014 19:21

Sara- I am impressed you even attempt Pilates when still vomiting at 15 weeks! Must be so tiring by now. Hats off to you for remaining as active as you do

LulusMiniEgg · 09/07/2014 19:59

Hello all and welcome to newbies!

I did an Erin O'Brien pregnancy DVD yesterday morning. I am aching in places even the 30 day shred didn't touch and felt horrific all day yesterday ending up in bed at 8. Had a few twinges today so not sure miniegg enjoyed the exercise! DH is a real gym bunny but even he thinks I should stay off the exercise!! Urgh, feel like I should keep on top of things but don't want to feel this rough each time!

Minibagel · 09/07/2014 20:30

I like the Tara Lee pg yoga dvd, not done it this pg yet, but its great and you push yourself as far as you feel comfortable. One bonus of yoga when pg is how stretchy relaxin makes our bodies, makes you feel like a yoga god ha!

Fingers crossed for you mad things do always show up :)

Minibagel · 09/07/2014 20:47

I'm a firm believer that everything happens for a reason too mad, if this doesn't happen then it's making room for something else to happen instead. I know it must be a worrying time though

Cakebaker35 · 09/07/2014 20:49

Thank you all for the warm welcome Smile

minibagel ha ha poo factory! Hadn't thought of it before but you're right, I'm the same, yuck!

to saraswati I'm just outside Oxford so not far from you.

I looked into some pg yoga classes but most in my area don't let you start til 16 weeks... which seems like an age away but is actually only a week and a half! Lol...

Must be a worry for you Mad - hope you're ok.

Is anyone else super irritable at the moment??? I swear Mr Rpopz will be luckily to make it through this week alive!

Saraswati · 09/07/2014 21:00

hi cake I lurve oxford, how nice to live so near!

Fingers crossed for your DH mad I'm another believer in the woo of everything happens for a reason - something even better is just around the corner :)

I got the 10 minute solutions prenatal pilates DVD, did 2 of the 10 min sections - I liked it! Was quite gentle but the bum and things bit felt a bit more toning. I reckon if I do that a couple of times a week, my yoga class and my yoga DVD that's coming this week and I walk for about 1.5 hours a day too (to and from work then the doggies) I hope I won't get too blobby.

keep I'm used to about 5 hot yoga classes a week so 15 weeks of no exercise has been driving me up the wall! I know I need to take it easy now but I'm dying to do some proper exercise!

OBEM klaxon!

RPopz · 09/07/2014 21:03

We have to watch the world cup.... Angry

Saraswati · 09/07/2014 21:18

Luckily DH is working late tonight, he's on his way home but won't be in until 10

KeepOnPloddingOn · 09/07/2014 21:32

Saras- that is a lot of yoga. You must be demented then and miss it loads. Hope the DVD is a gooden :)

Saraswati · 09/07/2014 21:36

I do love my yoga - hoping to train to be a teacher after I have the baby (if it doesn't destroy my body!) I enjoyed the DVD, would recommend it! I'll report back on my yoga one when I get it later this week.

RPopz · 09/07/2014 21:43

Omg... I just had some weird pulsating bubble popping feeling in my tummy... quite high up tho, to the right of my belly button.... baby or bowels?!?!?

ViviPru · 09/07/2014 21:53

Probs just poo factory, RPopz

Sara sorry if you've already mentioned but which yoga DVD have you ordered? I'm struggling to find a class, Pilates everywhere I look but I fancy some classic yoga too...

RPopz · 09/07/2014 22:01

Bummer. On the plus side, the dog booted me in the stomach earlier... hopefully the poo factory bore the brunt of it rather than the bean!

ViviPru · 09/07/2014 22:10

My dog has been squirming round on my tummy too. She's been noticably well behaved lately, anyone else's dogs been behaving differently?

RPopz · 09/07/2014 22:18

Was discussing this with one of my doggy friends the other day! She's 6 months gone and says her dog is snuggling and pawing at her bump a lot recently. Apparently they can sense the pregnancy or hear the heartbeat?? Mr Rpopz reckons our dog has been more gentle with me recently but can't says I've noticed! He is quite snuggly anyway when it suits him though Smile

ViviPru · 09/07/2014 22:30

Ahh that's sweet! DH is convinced she can smell it (whether 'it' is the hormones/pheromones/cells whatever). She's a scent hound so not outside the realms of possibility...

Saraswati · 09/07/2014 22:35

My cat has paid me more attention but the stupid dogs haven't noticed a difference! They'll notice the screaming baby!

vivi I've ordered the gaiam prenatal DVD which is a shiva rea one. I have some of her other DVDs and I love her. She does very flowing dance like yoga which feels lovely so I hope the pregnancy DVD is in the same vein. I will report back when it arrives :)

phoebs88 · 09/07/2014 22:40

My cats have also been paying me more attention (and insist on trying to walk on bloated tummy/sore boobs when I'm lying down....so kind).

They have also made friends with the pushchair that we kind of accidentally on purpose bought yesterday...

Scoobsmam13 · 09/07/2014 22:43

Everyone is talking about yoga and hiking, Im feeling like a lazy toad......time to get my act together, you have all inspired me!!! I put on 5 stone with DD1 (YES 5 stone Blush) I lost it easy(ish) but will not be doing it again.

Fingers crossed here for you too mad
Kate I'll race ya Wink

Minibagel · 09/07/2014 22:46

I love that Poo Factory has now become a thing on this thread.
