The website is www.thisismy.co.uk. Sorry I am rubbish at links x

Saraswati · 01/07/2014 09:17

sorry keep and madem can't believe you both came away from your appointments yesterday not knowing anymore. I can't imagine what you must be feeling like. I'm sorry I can't add anything useful to this discussion as I've never had harmony or nifty but I can just send you some positive vibes and Thanks and Cake

cheshirem2b · 01/07/2014 09:43

keep and madem sorry to hear you are still playing the waiting game. fx for positive news soon for you both.

I had some tightening down my left side last night and this morning it feels a bit like I've pulled a muscle... I presume smudgey is having a growth spurt and stretching his/her space a bit?

ViviPru · 01/07/2014 12:07

Oh how bloody frustrating for you both, Keep and mademoiselle. There's nothing more stressful than waiting in the dark. I really hope it doesn't cause either of you too much distress and you get some answers soon. Thanks

In other news, I am friggin HUMONGOUS. No bump to speak of, just big fat greedy oaf of a woman. All that hard work pre-wedding to get down 4 dress sizes wiped out in a few short months. You best be worth it, Prulet!

RPopz · 01/07/2014 18:01

Same here Cheshire someone or something in there is having a growth spurt!! Ouchy x

RPopz · 01/07/2014 18:03

Am feeling a bit podge too Viv. Can't hold my belly in anymore without it hurting. DH called it an apple last night! Confused He also said "As if you're 3 months pregnant and ONLY JUST showing!" !?!? Not too sure what he expected!!

MightyQuin1201 · 01/07/2014 18:10

So sorry to hear about your lack of news Keep & Mademoiselle, it must be so very hard for you right now.

I've been keeping up reading stuff while I've been on a work trip in the US. The whole thing was fine despite waking up super early every day & I thought that maybe the fairly mild ms which I had been experiencing was at an end but NO! When I arrived to check in to my 11 hour (economy) flight I was already feeling a bit rough and since I landed on Sunday afternoon I have felt TERRIBLE and I have spent the last two days in bed unable to do anything. Is flying to blame? Anyone else been flying and felt utterly crap?

Saraswati · 01/07/2014 18:13

Huge over here too, and somehow losing weight still at the same time?! Been feeling very light fluttering as well the last few days which I love, I think it's had a growth spurt as I look much bigger which has coincided with feeling movement.

I had one of my worst sickness days ever today, was sick about 10 times at work and only just made it home without puking in the street. It's been 9 weeks now of near constant puking and I feel so drained. I hate to complain, I'm so lucky to be pregnant with a healthy baby, but it's really getting me down now :(

Saraswati · 01/07/2014 18:15

Oh forgot to add 14+4

mighty I haven't flown since I've been pregnant but tiredness makes my sickness so much worse. Maybe jet lag?

MightyQuin1201 · 01/07/2014 18:25

Hi Saras, I think that must be it. I honestly don't think I can make it into work tomorrow if I'm still feeling this dreadful. I literally can't do a thing. Sorry you're feeling so poorly too and at 14+4! Maybe my sickness is only just beginning properly! Confused
X

ViviPru · 01/07/2014 18:28

Sara total bummer about the sickness...

OMG I have the runs today Sad been racking my brains as to what might have caused it and thinking it must have been the raspberries from my Mum's garden - they were a bit past their best....

Anyone dioralyte during pregnancy? It says on the website 'only on medical advice' Confused

You could do DIY rehydration salts Vivi, if in doubt- 1 tsp salt & 6 tsp sugar dissolved in boiled water cooled down to tepid. This won't do any harm. Hope you feel better soon.

ViviPru · 01/07/2014 18:40

Thanks Quin

Saraswati · 01/07/2014 18:51

vivi hope you're ok, try weak squash with a teaspoon of salt it's good for rehydration and my old hangover cure ;)

Minibagel · 01/07/2014 18:51

All day today I've just been thinking tomorrow I'll get to see you baby! The final night before the scan at last. Not that I'm enjoying nighttime sleep at the moment, it's filled with random nightmares. Strangely it doesn't happen in daytime naps, I guess because I'm sleeping for less time? Anyone else dreading another restless night?

vivi I lost a couple of stone before I got pg last time (February 2014) but after the mc I comfort are and then got pg straightaway, so haven't lost any of it! I can see a definite upfront bump, not just weight all over, so I'm blaming some of my shape change on ginormous uterus, the rest on cheese.

mighty some people don't get ms until later on. With ds1, mine (vomiting) started at 14w. Just when it's supposed to get better. Hoping for different this time.

Loobyloo893 · 01/07/2014 18:59

My ms didn't start until 13 weeks with DS and lasted the rest of the pg. this time it's started much earlier so I'm hoping it will ease and not last the whole time.

Mini, I've been having nightmares too, and really vivid dreams. So real I was talking to DH about something and he told me it never happened, I must have dreamt it but it felt so real. Bizzare.

3 sleeps until we see baby at nifty appointment. Am absolutely petrified!

cheshirem2b · 01/07/2014 18:59

Hope those feeling poorly get better soon. I can only imagine how rubbish it must be for you guys.
Smudgy definitely making his/her presence known today! Back home from work now and in my preggo yoga pants & TShirt ( I don't do yoga but they are super comfy)! Bliss!

Loobyloo893 · 01/07/2014 19:00

10+5 (keep forgetting!)

KeepOnPloddingOn · 01/07/2014 19:26

Aww vivi!

Sara- I cannot believe you have been sick so many times :( you poor thing, you must be exhausted too if you are working. I really don't know what to suggest as I imagine you have heard and tried it all? Rest lots :)

Well...Good news is I can have a go at another cvs next week. Woo woo. Fingers x they manage it this time. I have to travel to another hospital to try it. A midwife there was speaking to me today about results again and explained my nichal fold measurement on its own was fine- but combines with my age it brings the risk up? I wasn't aware of that age being a factor in the Nuchal fold measurment ? It is crazy how all these things are relative in one way or another ...Anyways I done mulling over it. For another week atleast ;)

KeepOnPloddingOn · 01/07/2014 19:27

Mini- snap! I don't have nightmares but I do have anxious dreams and wake regularly already for a pee!

cheshirem2b · 01/07/2014 19:30

Sorry... I forgot as well... 13+5

LulusMiniEgg · 01/07/2014 19:32

Hello!

Yes I am definitely growing at a rate of knots, had to tie my 'too-big-jeans-pre-preggo' with a hairband today. Was called fat 3 times (twice by people who know) once by a random thrusting a netball flyer in my hand 'come on girlfriend you've got to lose it somehow' (p£&@ off I'm pregnant I felt like shouting!) I'm still a size 6/8 everywhere else!

Roll on big bumps rather than wierd shaped fat deposits!

LulusMiniEgg · 01/07/2014 19:32

Minibagel · 01/07/2014 19:48

God the cheek lulu!! It's in those occasions you just need a quick one liner 'actually I have a cancerous growth, but thanks for your concern'

Saraswati · 01/07/2014 20:03

Thanks keepon it's nothing compared to what you must be going through! It's just exhausting, my mum actually asked me if I'd tried ginger biscuits and I wanted to scream down the phone, bad hormones day today! Fingers crossed for your next cvs, glad you managed to get an appointment.
