I have awoken feeling much chirpier. My dd is jumping around the room making me laugh today- how could I possibly feel upset with such a perfect baby here already!

I love my little baby inside me already too :) I swear I am feeling movements, others have mentioned this too? It's so lovely :)

Poss not flu then just a heavy cold

I think you can get flu at any time of year! Might be worth seeing the GP if you think it is as flu can be nasty.

Still feeling a bit tender this morning but not as scary as last night when it was stabby and pokey pain!! Think to be fair I was just super anxious as we'd just announced it to the world... was worried I'd jinxed it! Think the ultrasound was prob a bit rough as baby was wriggling and she struggled to measure the nt for a bit. Didn't really notice at the time as I was concentrating on baby and not weeing haha! Thanks everyone.

Last week I was quite chirpy but this week I'm exhausted! I go to bed, sleep, wake up still tired! Can't even look forward to the weekend as I'm on call for work! Rubbish!

Arggggghhhh, it's scan day! I'm so so scared!! Thanks for all the good luck wishes and good luck to any scan date twins.
Mine is at 9am so really need to get a move on.

oh mummyk8 I so get what you're going through, I was bleeding, not feeling pg and my scan was à 5pm yesterday... horrible day, with a happy ending - all the best.

rum good luck with work - thank god my office's toilets are clean, spacious and private, they've become my new place to be for a quick nap :)

RPopz, I was bleed ending quite heavily a couple of days after my scan. Was really worried as we had just announced pregnancy to friends and family but there was no cramping and it calmed down after a couple of hours. Happened after I had my scan at epu too. Don't think mini egg likes scans!

Best of luck to everyone with scans today. I have been ringing the number to try to get my combined test result, but no-one is there at the moment. Will keep trying!

13 weeks today.

Hmmm, just got through - apparently the machine still isn't working (they thought it would be fixed last night) and they will ring me when the results are ready. They don't know when that will be. I know most people have to wait anyway, so I shouldn't moan, but if you know you'll be getting the results on the same day, you get all geared up for nothing!

Ikkle have you considered it may be chronic hayfever? The symptoms are very flu-like and can be debilitating. Even if you've never had it before you can develop it out of the blue. The pollen count is particularly bad this year and lots of people are really suffering with it. Hope you're feeling better soon.

I jumped right back into bed after DS left for school in the hope of catching up on sleep and killing a couple of hours of waiting time. No such luck I just tossed and turned and then gave up. So far I have cleaned out all of the kitchen cupboards, scrubbed the kitchen and bathroom within an inch of their life (if they had one of course) Now making dinner for the next few days to pop in the fridge and freezer and doing a hair mask. Only about another 3 hours to kill before it's time to go. So nervous.
