yellow felt the same about the bodybuilder. Thought he was going to turn into a softie but he just seemed a bit of a prat!

The male anaethetist is great Grin

claptomania · 18/06/2014 21:55

The twins story is hair raising! Imagine being told at 30 weeks that you had to give birth immediately

Loulou888 · 18/06/2014 21:56

Missing it as I forgot to record if and dh is watching football again!

Here's hoping the baby is a boy. The odd girl name I like he says he Doesn't! Grrr don't like his either. He has also annoyed me by suggesting the baby has ds old bedroom furniture that is knackered. Erm no!

binkybunny · 18/06/2014 21:58

Oh my gosh she is soooo tiny!

binkybunny · 18/06/2014 22:02

I just don't know how I'd cope having a baby at 30 weeks then having to leave it in SCBU. It looks so hard to go through birth then go through all that too Sad

ohthegoats · 18/06/2014 22:03

A colleague's daughter is going to have twins by CS next Wednesday - she's managed to get them to 33 weeks, but one has been very tiny (they thought he might not make it for a long time), now it looks like one will be 5lbs something, and the tiny one only just 3lbs. Scary.

ohthegoats · 18/06/2014 22:04

and dh is watching football again!

This is a 24/7 situation in my house right now.

Loulou888 · 18/06/2014 22:07

Is mine tbh *goats

puppythedog · 18/06/2014 22:17

For whomever was wondering about it being too early for getting buggy;
We picked up our Graco Evo system this evening that my Dad bought from Mothercare on offer, Car thing, pram thing and buggy thing for £330.

I put it all together tonight but I'm a bit overwhelmed by it. It's kinda not real if that makes sense. All seems bloody snazzy I have to say. One observation is it looks like the toes sleeping bag bit might slip down in use. Otherwise sturdy and intuitive.

Well done my dad, in the end we told him we liked this particular one but if he found one more suitable that he liked that would be cool. He liked the deal and bought it. Grin

OBEM, Body builder Dad:

She having a jab up?

He needs a jab up, in the face, with a car!!!

queenasanti3 · 18/06/2014 22:19

Just tagging on to the new thread to keep up to date with you. Iam feeling fine at the moment apart from terrible heartburn late at night oh and the stress of names, my daughter has an unusual name therefore will need something unusual for the new baby, it took us over a week after my daughters birth to decide, hoping we can come up with some ideas a little sooner, although we are having a surprise so makes it a little difficult Confused

YellowWellies · 18/06/2014 22:38

My niece was 1lb 15 at her lightest - somewhere between the two twins. Terrifying to see one so wee

Kirstipops · 18/06/2014 23:18

I've fallen asleep a good few times listening to the hypnotherapy CD as well! The book does say you'll still take it in though if you drift off! After a very quiet day movements-wise my Wee Dug is now stirring, it actually felt like stroking me from the inside?? Anyone felt this? You may think "awww" but it was followed up by an almighty volly with bum or head or suchlike!

Gunwalloe, I've just bought several of the same fabrics that easy seller uses but to make clothes myself. Better get sewing now!

fatpony · 19/06/2014 00:22

bumpforme I also have to transit oxford circus during rush hr, changing from Bakerloo to Victoria line . Grim, grim, grim!

ohthegoats · 19/06/2014 07:08

Nice new one today - left boob leak! Urgh, grim. Only a 10p size blob of sticky something, but today is a big concert at school, so worrying that I'll have a nice big leak mark on my dress while doing the presenting. Ha.

magichandles · 19/06/2014 07:44

One of the most useful things about knowing that I'll probably be induced (GD) is that I can sort out childcare in advance for the other two. It's pretty much the only benefit though.

Scan and Harmony this afternoon, I'm much calmer about everything this week and much more positive about the odds. I even bought a couple of bits in the sale for this baby for next summer.

Kirstipops · 19/06/2014 08:11

fatpony where did you buy the fabrics if you don't mind me asking, I loved those fabrics and think I'll have to dig out the sewing machine!

Good luck magic for this afternoon :)

I clicked on that easy seller website and found that it's someone I know! How weird.. didn't know she did that stuff. Nice fabrics.

MundayCakes85 · 19/06/2014 08:56

Goats least glamourous purchase this morning- breast pads. Sanitary pads for nipples Blush I've been leaking a few weeks now and have finally caved!
Hope the concert goes well

ohthegoats · 19/06/2014 09:05

I've got some tiny panty liners that we keep for the year 5 and 6 girls who start their periods - if there is any further leaking today, I'll be stuffing my bra with those before this evening. Sexy. Boyfriend couldn't stop laughing as I was chucking a 'urgh... it's STICKY' moment. It really was sticky. Blee.

weeonion · 19/06/2014 09:55

grannyapple - i am excited, nervous, calm and panicked - all at various stages. This is DC2 - DD was a great birth. I laboured entirely at home and made it to hospital for 2 pushes in 2 minutes so want to try it at home. Am having a doula as well for added support!

Kirsti - my care is through princess royal too - having a few extra appts due to age!

Loulou888 · 19/06/2014 10:21

Wow weeonion I'm very jealous that is some good going.

I'm off to have my eye lashes tinted. It's one of dd's friends mums. I certainly won't be asking her to have a look and wax my lady garden lol.

goats it's probably only going to become a regular occurance! Hope you don't get a wet patch in school. I've had to start wearing panty liners but so far boobs are okay. Joys of being preggers

sazzlehopes · 19/06/2014 10:25

Ok so zara mini is having a sale!
I've just ordered the cute knitted romper in 3-6 months (before the food starts!)
link is here to all the sale Really nice unisex bits and bobs!

Thought I'd let you all know! Sorry bank balance!!!!!!!!!!!!!

mum2kiss · 19/06/2014 11:46

I'm not even going to click on that link sazzle. Looks like we are definitely in new car territory so really have to tighten the purse strings!

Managed to get my sis the baby jogger city mini double last night for £150 in excellent condition! She's over the moon and now has all of her baby stuff (she's due the end of august). I on the other hand still have hardly anything and the new car we didn't plan to buy looks set to dash any dreams I had of getting a new buggy! Looks like I'll have to grudgingly take the mils offering :(
