FX for your SIL Poly.
I need to stop reading this thread, it makes me starving! I don't even like egg whites but now fancy an egg mayo sandwich.

hanflan · 24/06/2014 16:03

What's everyone having for dinner tonight? I might have a baked sweet potato with beans and lots of extra mature cheddar. Ooooh yeah.

hanflan · 24/06/2014 16:04

My potatoes are small though, so blates TWO Wink

CagedMango · 24/06/2014 16:09

I've got a butternut squash hanging around-think I'll make soup (or purée as mine tend to be thick). Might put in some sweet potato too and do it with some home made garlic bread (bough ciabatta though). Yum!

CagedMango · 24/06/2014 16:09

Mmm beans :)

lindamagoo · 24/06/2014 16:12

I've talked OH into ordering a chippy tonight, got to have a fish supper and mushy peas now Smile

PolytheneGirl · 24/06/2014 16:27

I'm fancying a visit to the chip shop too.

I told SIL the same about fluid and everything and she seemed ok by the time I came off the phone. I just don't know why MWs feel the need to scare women like that. I'm sure everything will be fine and I said to her that she is nearly term anyway now so as long as they are keeping an eye on her she and baby should be ok. Fx though.

MademoiselleG · 24/06/2014 16:30

Oh my word you've made me hungry.
I reaaaaally want tuba, sweet corn and mayo. Just on it's own. Might make some!

hanflan · 24/06/2014 16:30

Exactly, that's the main thing to remember, even if the worst happened and they had to deliver early, he/she would most likely be fine at this stage! Also, if there was a massive worry they wouldn't have let her go home. It'll all be ok whatever happens :)

MademoiselleG · 24/06/2014 16:31

Lovely outfit poly and what a cute bump!!

hanflan · 24/06/2014 16:32

Oh I forgot to mention, my hospital seems to be massively keen/efficient! I'm only 6 weeks and already got my scan appointment through! 5th August cannot come soon enough Grin

PolytheneGirl · 24/06/2014 16:40

Thanks Mlle that's this mornings emergency buy!

5th Aug is my PFB's birthday Grin

Viperama · 24/06/2014 17:16

toots123 · 24/06/2014 17:37

Sweet chilli chicken strips and chips here! I suggested a mcdonalds but dh said no, lets do that tomorrow when we go to shops after work.
I love him

PolytheneGirl · 24/06/2014 17:49

I'm going to kill DS in a minute! Why can't I make him understand that I'm bloody exhausted and need him to behave?

MundayCakes85 · 24/06/2014 18:55

Chicken and boiled egg Confused curry here. Smells pretty spicy!

lindamagoo · 24/06/2014 19:14

Shouldn't have ate all that, feel yuck now Hmm

barmybunting · 24/06/2014 19:33

Chicken and boiled egg curry Munday? How does the boiled egg go in it? That sounds interesting!

Fingers crossed all is well for your SIL Poly.

MundayCakes85 · 24/06/2014 19:33

Just so you all know curried boiled egg is awesome!

Spotti · 24/06/2014 19:33

Well that was an experience! Been out with my mum and granny is afternoon to go and see Maleficent (sp?) at the cinema...good film, would recommend it...although I nearly fell asleep during the adverts, spent a good half an hour trying desperately not to throw up, peed 4 times in about 90mins AND THEN went all hot, weak and wobbly just as the most exciting bit of the film was happening and thought I was either going to projectile vomit everywhere or pass out. Thankfully ended up doing neither and my lovely mum managed to save the day with some of her left over Wine Gums to keep my occupied until I got home, but by heck, it's been an interesting day out!

On the drive home we saw 4 police cars (2 of which were dog vans) and a chopper hovering over the farm where I keep my horse...no idea what's been going on there but I can only assume some naughty person has done a runner and was hiding in the woods. Horsey is fine though so no worries there Smile.

Still feeling really 'bleurgh' but oddly fancying chips >blames linda for mentioning going to the chippy

Fed up of this debate going around the houses at home here! Can I put a baby girl in a sky blue pram? I realise we can put the baby in any colour we want, but my Mum is insisting it is too boyish a colour! However, I don't like the red or green available in this pram, DH doesn't want black or sand coloured and I think the others are too girly for a boy although I love the purple. We don't know what we are having, and won't find out until the birth.

So can this blue work for a boy or girl or is a no go do you reckon?

lindamagoo · 24/06/2014 19:41

Barmy I love that pram and I'd defo use the blue for a girl or boy, it's not too dark for a girl or too light for a boy, perfect Smile

lindamagoo · 24/06/2014 19:42

Oh Spotti I love a bit of police action, you have to let us know what was happening if you find out

PolytheneGirl · 24/06/2014 19:48

Barmy it's beautiful for a boy or a girl!

PolytheneGirl · 24/06/2014 20:01

Mmmmm DH's has just gone out to the chippy Grin
