We are waiting for all the measures and blood tests etc but...

THERE IS A LIVE ABD SOMERSAULTING BABY IN MY TUMMY!!

Sorry for the delay, the clinic is running about 45 mins late. Thank goodness because dh was stuck on a tube and got here seconds before she put the scanning thing on my belly! I was in floods of tears because he wasn't there and she tried to reassure me by saying :"don't worry, it's 3 of us here, that counts for like...half your husband!"
Eeerrrr...nope.

So just waiting for all the official results now. Strangely not worried anymore at all!

PolytheneGirl · 23/06/2014 14:13

Congrats Fox My preggo app tells me a 6wk fetus is around 6mm. If they dated you at 6 wks it must have measured about that as that is all they have to go on. I can't make any sense of all the numbers on my scan so I wouldn't worry. Grin

freneticfox · 23/06/2014 14:18

Numbers are confusing my pea brain today! It's 7 weeks and 1 day since my last period, yet 1.8mm would suggest a VERY early pregnancy.

My brain hurts.

PolytheneGirl · 23/06/2014 14:25

Ignore the numbers and smile at the baby Smile

Zermatt · 23/06/2014 14:29

Fabulous news melleG and for once a blessing to be kept waiting for your appointment, glad that your DH managed to make it in the nick of time to see your little jumping acrobat :) so glad it went well

CallingAllEngels · 23/06/2014 14:34

Good to hear mlle !

spotti I hate to tell you this but I'm 13+1 and sleepwalking through the last few days. DS has been following me from sofa to sofa and refusing to let me sleep.

I am so unfuckingbelievably tired! (Whinge, whinge, moan, moan). Now where did I leave the rest of those doughnuts?

MademoiselleG · 23/06/2014 14:36

Mmmh donuts GrinGrin

Well. Seems that this baby was somersaulting SO much that I have to go for another scan right away to take the actual measurements. Baby being difficult already Wink Still waiting...will I ever leave this place?

MrsBeeBeeBee · 23/06/2014 14:39

Hello ladies, a very quick check in here.
Just wanted to pop in as I've been really hectic so no chance to post.

Good news on today's scans. Pleased both went well xx

7 weeks here now. Still no news on booking in appointment and therefore def no idea on scan date yet. Boo.

PolytheneGirl · 23/06/2014 14:49

Sorry Mlle I completely missed your post. Congratulations Thanks a wriggly bean is a sign of a healthy bean IMHO. Grin

Engels I'm the same and DS has been a pain in my rump for a few days straight. So glad he's at nursery school right now. He's being so difficult, I'm hoping it's not to do with the new baby Confused

hanflan · 23/06/2014 15:33

mrsbeebeebee have you chased up about the booking appt?! You should have one by now, mine was booked as soon as I saw the doctor! My appt will be at 7.5 weeks!

hanflan · 23/06/2014 15:34

Yaaaaay such good news about todays scans. Sorry this is a really quick post and don't have time to do a more personal message haha, so busy at work! (runs away again)

broodysnoopstie · 23/06/2014 15:36

Just a quick one to say Hoorah for all the gorgeous scans. Happy Monday on this thread... And to say I phoned about my booking in appt and they said they had my referral from GP and would be in touch so basically be patient. I'm 9 weeks this week. Going on holiday in 2 weeks. Hope I see a midwife before I go away.

RetroHippy · 23/06/2014 15:45

Hurrah for the amazing scans today :)

I hit 9 weeks today. Cue immense tiredness, heaving at work, boobs that hurt so much I feel like I've been punched Sad

Woohoo! Here we go on the pregnancy roller coaster...

lindamagoo · 23/06/2014 16:28

Finally back from the caravan, what a weekend! Jackson fell and hurt his knee as soon as we got there so he's been in pain all weekend and Jayden got the chickenpox while we were their so he's a wee mess now and going to miss his last ever week at nursery Hmm good to be home Smile

Congrats to all who have had good scans, can't wait for mines, 1 week and 4 days to go

PolytheneGirl · 23/06/2014 16:28

Heehee I'm at my Mommy's house and she is roasting me a chicken for tea! Grin I'm lounging around like I haven't got a care in the world!

Nothing like coming home to your Mom to make everything feel alright again Smile

PolytheneGirl · 23/06/2014 16:30

Oh dear Linda I hope you all still managed to have a nice time. Get well soon Jayden Magoo Thanks

RetroHippy · 23/06/2014 16:35

Oh linda, what a weekend indeed! Did you manage to have a nice time despite illness and injury? Bet it's very good to be home!

poly, your evening sounds amazing. I'm considering ringing DH in my poorly voice so he brings something home for tea Grin

Spotti · 23/06/2014 16:54

Woooo for the wriggly bean!

Calling - don't tell me that! I swear I've lost about 2 weeks of my life already because I've been asleep...looks like I'll be losing a few more before I get to meet my little dragon (suppose I should make the most of it really - once they're here I'll be longing for the days when I could sleep all day Wink)

Hi all, haven't read back but I'm taking a break. Bad news re:genetic abnormality and rescan in two weeks. I'm in bits. Sorry for dampening the mood.Hmm

CallingAllEngels · 23/06/2014 16:59

Oh mlle how frightening ((hugs))

PolytheneGirl · 23/06/2014 17:07

Oh no Mlle please try not to worry, it's not an exact science and there are no definites. I know that easier said than done. All my thoughts and prayers will be with you Thanks

RetroHippy · 23/06/2014 17:14

Oh Mlle, how worrying for you we're all here for a handhold. Who knows at work? Is there someone lovely who will keep an eye out in case you need a bit of support?

MademoiselleG · 23/06/2014 17:41

Thank you. Yes definitely lovely ppl at work. With dh right now. They will just confirm how serious the problems are in 2 weeks but basically: not good. We will probably not have a baby in January.

lindamagoo · 23/06/2014 17:44

Aw Made I'm so sorry, I do hope things go ok for you huni Thanks

PolytheneGirl · 23/06/2014 18:02
