Thinking of you Mademoiselle and hope the wait doesn't get too much. Know we're all here for you x

MademoiselleG · 23/06/2014 18:54

Thank you all. I'm so sorry to being bad news and to dampen the mood. Thank you for handholding. In my head, I'm not pregnant anymore. They've already discussed 'our options' and mentioned elective abortion (or whatever the term might be). I just want a healthy baby, and it won't be this one Hmm

fancyacupoftea · 23/06/2014 18:58

Mademoiselle don't apologise. This group is first and foremost a group of support. I just wish there was something we could do to help or fix things.

lindamagoo · 23/06/2014 19:11

Made please don't apologise, we are all here for the good and bad times. I'm sending you and dh all the love in the world to help you get through this tough time xxx

MademoiselleG · 23/06/2014 19:27

Thank you both!

Please do carry on with the usual banter and food chat, I miss it!
Much love to you all. I am lucky to be very loved and close to dh (despite this acronym sometimes referring to other, less endearing terms!) and if anything, this will make us a closer family.

I just pray that you all have healthy babies and that we will be next!

I'm about to have my second glass of wine. Needs must.Wine

broodysnoopstie · 23/06/2014 19:30

Mlle just for you I've just hoovered a massive jacket potato with half a block of cheese and nearly a tub of coleslaw. I just wanted it so bad. I now feel sick. Enjoy the wine. Thinking of you xThanks

freneticfox · 23/06/2014 19:35

Thinking of you MmeG, sending love x

lindamagoo · 23/06/2014 19:56

Broody I have just hoovered down the exact same and some cheesy garlic bread, was bloody fab but I can no longer move, stuffed full Smile

fancyacupoftea · 23/06/2014 19:57

Mmmmm cheesy garlic bread

CallingAllEngels · 23/06/2014 20:06

Thinking of you mlle .

Have just scoffed pizza, the rest of the doughnuts, the best part of a tube of pringles and half a punnet of cherries.

Now about to read will last 5 mins and get an early night. Feeling shattered and emotional and could do with sleeping through the next week.

MundayCakes85 · 23/06/2014 20:11

I just had roast chicken and boiled egg salad with buttery new potatoes. That counts as healthy right? I've been so good today forgetting white choc magnum and 6 choc biscuits from earlier I might have some icecream in a bit Blush

barmybunting · 23/06/2014 20:13

Madmoiselle, I am so sorry. Xx

RetroHippy · 23/06/2014 20:16

Just for you Mlle - Potato waffles with bolognese and Parmesan on top here. 'Twas good.

Unsuccessfully rifled through my clothing collection for something summery that fits without making my gas bump look too huge. Found one pair of (cream!) linen trousers.

I refuse to buy new workwear before I can justify maternity stuff. And refuse to buy maternity stuff before my 12 week scan. I feel some bizarre dress/half unbuttoned trouser combos coming on.

fancyacupoftea · 23/06/2014 20:19

Retro I bought a few pencil skirts that are midi and because I'm short I can pull them up over bump. In jersey material so they stretch. Definitely maternity and non-mat wear.

I've stuffed myself today too. Bloated doesn't cover it.

RetroHippy · 23/06/2014 20:25

Tops are beginning to be an issue. I have a few floaty or bias cut tops but they are starting to cling to, rather than skim, the bump. At least if I start dressing bizarrely I have the hot weather as an excuse! I'm more a floaty skirt person (theme emerging here... NN very appropriate Grin) found one this evening that I can pull up over bumpy, but no idea what to wear on top. Can't have anything tight round my tummy as it make me feel sick Envy

Tempted to come clean to save the bother!

fancyacupoftea · 23/06/2014 20:31

So the SYMPTOMS are coming on properly then?

Hmmm not sure what kind of loose tops you could get away with with floaty skirts. I will have a think.

PolytheneGirl · 23/06/2014 20:40

I'm going to buy some maternity skinny jeans this week. I've got a few empire line type tops I can get away with for a bit longer but mostly at the moment I'm wearing jersey dresses which show off my bump nicely!

Today I wore my white linen trouser, which have a soft elasticated waist that sits nicely under my bump, with a long vest top. Walking back from dropping DS at school I hear a can approaching from behind and doing the obvious slow down to take a closer look, until it got right along side me and in line with my bump, then it suddenly sped off! Still got it! Wink from behind

RetroHippy · 23/06/2014 20:47

Haha poly!

fancyacupoftea · 23/06/2014 20:50

My first pair of maternity skinny jeans arrived today - thank you asos. Slightly baggy around the thigh but I'm sure that'll change.

PolytheneGirl · 23/06/2014 20:55

Blush why thank you!

I like the jeans Fancy . I always have the problem with skinny jeans that my legs are very slim but my bum is a lot fuller and I end up with baggy thighs! Have to get them with a good stretch!

Anyone else's feet swelling up? Having a flip-flop day tomorrow for sure!

bellaboo88 · 23/06/2014 20:59

Sorry to hear that mlle, my friend recently went through something similar & had tough decisions to make however further scans/amino went well & not as bad as first thought.

Thinking of you all.

Ladies who have had brown bleeds, was it just the once or on & off? It started again yesterday, not a lot but (tmi) dark stringy bit today. I dont know if i should just brush it off now or mention it to docs or epu? Mw booking in app is in two weeksxx
