Welcome newbies and congratulations!! Theres a list somewhere that you can add yourselves to, I think the one at the top of the page is un-editable. Anyone know how to get the editable version??? My Mac won't simply copy and paste the link!!!

Congratulations j200! Great news!
I had my 12week scan date for 26/6 when I'd be 13+ so I've rearranged it for 19/6 when I'm 12+ instead. Fits around family holidays better as well which is great!

sleepisforthetired · 28/05/2014 10:51

Parent of the year here - twice managed to vom in hearing range of DS, which made him cry.

5am this morning I was in the bathroom - but he could hear me. DP found him sitting outside the door crying because I was ill (I have never been "ill" where he can see me, he is almost 3 and half.

Yesterday, got home from work after 7pm, DP bathing DS... I run in, grabbed the potty out the bathroom as sickness was really bad - it had come on quite suddenly on drive home.
I hear DS say "mummy is sick" (I had tried to hide it, hence the potty rather than the toilet but had only made it half way down stairs!). DP says "yes, mummy is blowing chunks" - which DS then repeats! I would have been so angry had I not felt so ill! The boy repeats everything, why teach him such a phrase?, we are common enough as it is Grin

8.4 weeks, I was nowhere near this poorly last time - yet I am worrying that's a bad sign. But as soon as I feel semi-human, I am worrying something is wrong - just cant win!

Hope everyone else is feeling better than me, and yay for the scans yesterday :)

Morning everyone!
I'm new here - hopping on the January bus just before the doors close with an EDD of January 30th!
Look forward to getting to know you all

EnglishGirlsReturned · 28/05/2014 11:55

Hi Gail and Welcome!! Congrats again!!

I can edit from that link Livvy.... Hmm

Just did month one of Tracy Andersons Pregnancy Project. Really like it although I think i'm going to have to add some cardio in. Looking into some prenatal yoga too!

MrsCK · 28/05/2014 12:13

Thanks for the link, I've put myself on there...hope it shows!! I'm hoping to ask for a dating scan earlier than 12 weeks as I'm not totally sure on how far I am...do they do it earlier than 12 weeks?

sleepisforthetired · 28/05/2014 12:14

Livvy I told him I was poorly, like when he had a cough (as was the last time he was sick). We are leaving it as that for now as DS has a big mouth for repeating everything!

He was just shocked mummy gets poorly to! He will be fine, as way I am feeling, he will have plenty of opportunity to get used to it! (gallows humour as feel like death!)

EnglishGirlsReturned · 28/05/2014 12:25

They'll be able to give you a rough idea MrsCK but its much more accurate at 12 weeks. Also they might not give you an early scan unless you have a health reason for one. But I think it completely depends on the area you're in, some GP's are more helpful.

Foxtrot7459 · 28/05/2014 12:49

Thanks dec

rumisyum · 28/05/2014 12:53

Go away on holiday & get deleted from the list... what are you people like. Wink No worries, English, I'll pop myself back on when I get back!

Tropical hols are going wonderfully. Grin Or would be if my body would stop messing with my mind. Last night I had another bleed, bit heavier than last time, but probably not enough to be anything major? (I hope!) But also had first bout of sickness last night - woke to pee, had a drink of water as thirsty, then immediately upchucked it with barely any warning. Shock I'm having another scan tomorrow cause private ones are easy to book out here, but goodness knows I'll be glad to safely hit 2nd trimester if this is going to be a bleedy pregnancy.

Hope everyone's well! Can't really catch up with a whole week's worth of this thread! But great news on the scan j200!

Off to see what surprises my body will offer me today...

KeepOnKeepingOnAndOnAndOnAndOn · 28/05/2014 13:07

Welcome ladies!

Henrietta your name is on my list! I love Etta fr short.

I hve just booked my 12 week scan for June 23rd. Argh, so excited! 3 weeks away :) :)

MelMc73 · 28/05/2014 13:10

Welcome to the crazy bus onedaylikethis2013 and henriettaturkey!! My provisional due date is 18th Jan as well Grin

ViviPru · 28/05/2014 13:13

Hello all! New to the thread, have been teetering between this and Dec as the NHS LMP calculator puts me at 31 Dec but the midwife gave me 2 Jan at my booking in.

Prompted to join you now though as I've had my date through for the scan which is 13th June. I'm thrilled with this as its the day before the weekend we're seeing our closest friends and the PILs and I was dreading having to keep quiet still - we're not telling anyone until after scan. I thought it might be scheduled for the week after as I'll only be 11+1 on the 13th.

This will be DC1, I'm 35 and had a very uneventful 9 weeks so far. I'm looking forward to hearing about all of your scans Smile

Loobyloo893 · 28/05/2014 13:18

Welcome ladies Grin
I have been in wet weather, half term, soft play hell this morning! It was packed. I felt fine until I got there then the nausea hit. I quickly ran out of my nausea-busting emergency haribo and wanted to curl up in a ball in the corner. DS had other ideas "mummy up, mummy play, mummy big slide!" Urgh. To top it off someone pooped in the ball pit! I very nearly threw up all those haribo!

ViviPru · 28/05/2014 13:25

Oh man, Looby that sounds like the seventh circle of hell. I've been quite lucky in that I've not had much in the way of any nausea, although I'm starting to really struggle with the dogfood Confused

fancyacupoftea · 28/05/2014 13:37

I really thought I'd got away with the nausea.
But no. This is the worst say so far. It's all about the salty carbs today. And my bed. Thank god for half term. No idea how I'm going to cope back at work next week!

Having yet another bad day! Started bleeding again, EPU said just to keep an eye on it and if it gets heavier by the morning to go in for another scan Hmm
