When we went for scan last week and saw hb the midwife said 5% risk of MC now so fx for you today!
I had diahorrea on Monday as well... No idea why and DH was fine. I was ok... Lots of water and fibre foods.

livvy id def pop to the docs and get your blood pressure checked. Always better to check these things out.

I managed to change my scan date which will now be on 30th June when I will be 13+1, originally had it when I would have been 12+2. They wouldn't do it any earlier as said they only do them between 12 & 14 weeks.

One question I have is how the dating can be wrong. I thought they dated from 1st day of last period, which I know! yet I see on here people being put back days or a week on their dates. How does this work??

Hi all...Please can I join? I think I'm 4+6 today which would make my EDD 29th January. I have an appointment next Friday with my midwife. ..I guess this is the booking in appointment? So very tired all the time...I can't quite believe it's happening. ..just praying and wishing that everything goes ok :)

Nice to see there is a new thread, I'm now 8 weeks and I've had a lot of feeling sick, but had no sickness! So my DH thought it might be a good idea to get some wrist bands that you get for flights and they seem to be working a treat, no more feeling pants!

Have my first scan on the 28th June....so excited

Hi all, can I join too? Going by my lmp, I'm 6+4 with my first pregnancy, due 17th Jan. Booked in for an early scan (privately) on Sunday when I'll be 7+1 then due to see the mw next Sunday at home. Lots of nausea but no actual sickness (fx) yet and just utterly exhausted. We hosted a big family party over the weekend and had a house full of guests which has just knocked me for six!

I'm taking pregnacare but have read that taking it before bed may help with feeling less sick? Does anyone have any experience with this? My diet is not brilliant at the moment, which I'm a little worried about as usually we eat really well. All I fancy at the moment is chips, jacket potatoes, pasta and fat coke!

Hello everyone, may I join? Just had my bfp today - after a bfn at the GP 2 weeks ago! According to my dates I am 6 weeks-ish and due on 18th Jan!

This will be my second (DS is 2) so excited and nervous and terrified all at once!

livvy had to laugh at the pee a little comment... I have this problem every time I'm sick... Not fun! My Ds is only 5 months so my pelvic floor muscles definitely haven't recovered yet!

foxtrot peoples dates are changed as yes, you are correct at saying that it goes from the first date of your last period, however that's based on the assumption that you ovulated at exactly 14 days into your cycle, conception occurred that day and that implantation took a precise number of days (think it's 7). These things can vary however from person to person and pregnancy to pregnancy, hence the 12 week dating scan, where they measure the sac and the embryo to see how many days and weeks they are, which gives a more accurate due date ( although this can still be out by a few days and you may get different ones at each scan :) sorry for the essay!!
