I've had the worse day of my pg so far today. Crippling tiredness, headache and nausea. I remember this so well from when I had my ds1. It makes me think that actually I had very few symptoms with the pg I mc in March/April this year which has somehow given me a bit of closure on that pg. That might sound weird but I was feeling like I could have done things different, but actually now I have come to accept it wasnt developing as it should.

Welcome to the newbies and congrats to sunshine. Sending lots of happy vibes to all who are awaiting epu appointments following a bleed. It's a nervous time. None of us are out the woods yet (sorry to be negative for a moment, but I try not to take things for granted).

Yay for the scan dates coming through, that'll be me in a couple of weeks, all being well. I dug out the scan of ds1 the other day and had a little cry. Pg hormones!!!

You have now all made me want carbs for dinner. I had got out some salmon but i don't fancy it at all. I find it so hard to fancy foods when im pregnant, even things I loved before. I have managed 4 fondant fancies (woops) some toast and a cheese sarnie today. I am thinking baked beans and potato waffles for dinner...who is with me?!

cheshirem2b · 27/05/2014 18:17

minibagel that sounds proper yummy! It's pizza for dinner in this house! Carb loading!

fancyacupoftea · 27/05/2014 18:23

I'M WITH YOU BAGEL!!! I had cheese and beans on toast for lunch so that's ruled out for my dinner but beans and potato waffles sounds spot on for you.

Starbright24 · 27/05/2014 18:24

Pie and chips for me. Not sure if I'll keep much down though.

Minibagel · 27/05/2014 19:01

Hubby has gone out to buy waffles. He asked if I wanted anything else but I couldn't fancy anything. Until you mentioned CHEESE fancy and now that's all I want!

Minibagel · 27/05/2014 19:02

Omg. He hadn't left. So now I'm getting cheeeeeese

Saraswati · 27/05/2014 19:19

I had cereal, tuc biscuits and some dark choc oat biscuits for dinner. After having a wobble this morning I've actually felt a bit better this afternoon, so am shovelling food in my face while it lasts.

CARBS FOR THE WIN!!

Now I want potato waffles....and cheese.......and beans......

Saraswati · 27/05/2014 19:20

Forgot to say yey for sunshine, enjoy your holiday!

fancyacupoftea · 27/05/2014 19:32

I had a crapload of veg with sausage and mash. And now I just want to ruin it with chocolate and sweets. Must be brave and strong.

EnglishGirlsReturned · 27/05/2014 19:37

Well you lot have well and truly put me off my lamb chops for dinner!! Had a very big salad at lunch and an apple so can justify the beans on toast I'm about to now eat!

Glad your scan went well sunshine!! Mine next one can't come soon enough.... 2 weeks tomorrow!!

Ms is a serious flaw in the reproduction cycle. I mean....just why? Do animals get it? I've got loads of house organising to do but no...I just veg being bleurgh on the sofa.

ilovelamp78 · 27/05/2014 19:53

Finding it really hard to plan for dinners as I'm not that excited about lots of foods any more. I'm a big meat eater but not that fussed anymore, suddenly more interested in bread and potatoes and veg. Like right now what I really want for dinner is pea soup. ( kind of specific isn't it) ? And when I got in from work I actually fixed myself a peanut butter and cheese toastie, with beetroot. It was amazing. And I am officially a wierdo!

Minibagel · 27/05/2014 20:22

Haha lamp that's so funny. I now buy food daily as I can't plan what i can eat in advance anymore.

I have had my dinner now and can confirm that whilst the cheese and waffle element of the dish was a great idea, the beans and egg (dh thought it'd be a good idea) was not. I feel decidedly bleurgh now. Hoping a decaf tea and a tunnocks snowball take the edge off.

LadyCottington · 27/05/2014 20:42

I managed one and a half slices of pizza for dinner tonight. I really didn't want it but I ate it slowly and it has stayed down so far. I really wanted some thing cold earlier so raided the fridge for frozen yoghurt. Now I'm craving what I think are ice lollies here? Back home they're ice blocks Grin Raspberry and lime flavour.. Mmmm..

ChineseFireball · 27/05/2014 20:45

Wowzers - another one who's come back from a weekend away to find a whole new fred!

I've read through to catch up but baby brain does not permit me to recall everything I've read, I'm afraid ;) Hope everyone's OK.

Agree that the MS is just the worst thing. Have had 3 fairly ok days (fortunate as we were staying with family) but then today have been sick twice :( aargh it's horrid. I can't even think what I want for dinner this evening. Have had 2 slices of pizza left over from last night and an apple but nothing else that we have in the house is appealing. Might just have some pasta with butter and black pepper...and tomato ketchup. Gone off cheese. Bleurgh.

In better news, scan date came through today! 17 June (same as Saras?) at 9.50am. DH is booking time off to come with me :) I'd update the stats but I can't edit them for some reason from the link in this thread.

9+3...

ChineseFireball · 27/05/2014 20:51

Have just updated the stats via the other link :D If anyone else is having difficulty, try this: docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1yUEBQdWfbxfipSJG8KGGtdHRpehTnptf5byxCdjFYRE/edit?usp=sharing - hope it works!

RPopz · 27/05/2014 20:57

Potato waffles are an amazing idea!! So getting some tomorrow. Beans on toast for tea here. DH is dping nearly all the cooking at the mo because I just never want to eat anything anymore! Poor lamb haha.

j200 · 28/05/2014 06:43

Morning ladies, got awful diarrhoea and so worried Hmm nothing you can take when pregnant either.

Going for my scan today 8+1, I guess if positive then chance of m/c is less than 5%, am nervous though as my symptoms fluctuate and sometimes don't feel pregnant (at moment just feel awful!) and my friend had a mmc at 8 weeks so not taking anything for granted

Have a good day all and yes if I eat today it will be carbs and hopefully not Imodium as my bean is still alive

MelMc73 · 28/05/2014 06:47

I think I might have beans and cheese on toast fir breakfast....or scrambled eggs maybe.... decisions decisions! I've got a nice healthy chicken wrap prepared for lunch today. Ate a big bag of galaxy counters last night....not usually a chocolate eater at all!

Congrats to pass and sunshine on the scans!

Loobyloo893 · 28/05/2014 07:14

J200 good luck with the scan today. Fingers crossed for you and your little bean. My symptoms seem to come and go too. Some days I feel really sick and don't fancy eating anything, and other days I feel absolutely fine. I'm a born worrier so it freaks me out when wake up feeling ok.

KeepOnKeepingOnAndOnAndOnAndOn · 28/05/2014 07:20

Good luck j200. You could try and follow the diet recommened when you have diahrrea - brat. Banana, rice, apple sauce and I forgo the last one sorry! Google? It helped me :)

j200 · 28/05/2014 07:20

Thanks looby, I'm a worrier too!
