ginger how annoying of your DH, go and rip the covers off the bed, that usually works with mine!!

monstamio I'm the same! Have quite a generous bum and boobs which is usually balanced by a small waist which has now disappeared :( can't wait to look pregnant and not just chubby although I think it'll be a while.

10 weeks today :o double figures! Feels like a little milestone, 12 week scan two weeks today as well. It'll be weird letting everyone in on our secret, I've actually enjoyed keeping it between just me and DH. It's felt really special. I know once I tell my DM she'll be ringing me every 5 minutes 'just to see if I'm ok' and will generally drive me up the wall!! I'm not ready for all that yet :s

Morning all

KeepOnPloddingOn · 03/06/2014 07:37

Sorry for the

KeepOnPloddingOn · 03/06/2014 07:41

Ooops!

Sorry for this Self indulgent post :/

I am nearly 10 weeks now and In the past 2 weeks ds has totally changed! She is one. She screams at the bath and at nap times and bedtime, I know she is teething a bit so I can handle this. But she has now started waking at 5 everyday !! I am going to bed early but te exhaustion is killing me. I am suffering from pregnancy tiredness really bad and when she naps she wakes quickly so I cannot rest then :( I know it will pass but I am a bit argh as I feel so scared it wont. I know there are worse things than a 5am start but wen pregnant and sick and tired it is very hard. Anyone going through similar?

KeepOnPloddingOn · 03/06/2014 07:42

On the plus side my boobs have grown huuuge already! Must say I am loving this :) haha

Dec2013mummy · 03/06/2014 08:45

Keepon I know what you mean!! Ds is 6 months and he has stopped napping at all during the day the last few days ( or only when we are out which doesn't help me)! He is also still waking for night feeds so I jut feel like a zombie! He is also teething so getting him to sleep has been interesting!! You have my sympathy completely!

Hats off to everyone who is pregnant and already has children, I really can't imagine how your doing it with the exhaustion and sickness. I've been feeling pretty sorry for myself but atleast I don't have to look after a little person too and DH seems quite happy running about after me (for now).

Is anyone finding that they have really strong aversions to smells? But not necessarily food smells. Unfortunately my latest aversion is the smell of the dog, who, bless his heart, has wanted to do nothing but sit by me and follow me around (he started to do this a week before I poas!) and now I can't bear the smell of him poor love. I've booked him in to the doggy groomers tomorrow so hopefully we can be friends again!

I'm the opposite with smells! I'm usually really sensitive to them anyway and even more so now it seems; but they're really hyper-lovely! Walking the dog in the field it's like I'm wading through pot purri and I keep sniffing her too... the wetter and houndier the better Confused

ALTHOUGH I'm convinced I'm whiffy myself.... especially at the gym, I'm mega paranoid.....

KeepOnPloddingOn · 03/06/2014 09:56

dec and madeigals - ouch. Looks like I am not alone. It will be worth it in the long run I am sure :) I cant even keep up energy with my beloved coffee though, haha. Makes me wanna vom at the moment.

oneday smells of all sorts make me feel faint with nausea haha. Gross.

RPopz · 03/06/2014 10:00

SMELLS... urgh... The fridge, the tea cupboard (has some rank vanilla teabags in it), DH (poor bloke lol), people on buses..... bork Envy Plus I seem to smell onions everywhere I go! Hoping it isn't me....

Hope everyone's feeling ok this morning x

Monstamio · 03/06/2014 10:02

I also think I smell! And I've developed a real aversion to cigarette smoke. Also general fridge smells - bleaurghh.

LulusMiniEgg · 03/06/2014 10:06

The sink - constantly pouring bleach down it and I bought these cinnamon tea bags when I first found our I was pregnant -ugh!

Loving belvita breakfast biscuits though - keeping me going every morning at work!

Haha this is hilarious... I'm actively sniffing the tea cupboard! Heavenly!

Saraswati · 03/06/2014 10:30

Yep smells are the WORST the whole world smells of warm bin/dog shit!! My sense of taste has also gone weird, the other week everything tasted of pepper. In the last week I can't get enough of sour things, I've been chain drinking lemon squash with extra lemon squeezed in, it seems to help with the nausea. I was eyeing up a lemon last night but I don't think I can bring myself to eat one!!

Frances79FirstTime · 03/06/2014 10:45

Just got into work after my early pregnancy scan - saw the bean and its little heart beating! Grin

She dated me at 8 weeks, which is pretty much what I thought - puts my EDD back to mid January but fully aware that might change again at 12 weeks!

Feels all very real now and was so nice to see it happily in there!

lindamagoo · 03/06/2014 10:47

My oh's work smell is giving me the boak just now, made worse by him being on nights now so I have to smell it first thing in the morning when he gets in Confused Plus one of the dad's from nursery stinks (don't think he has washed in months) and the cloakroom we have to sit in is really small and hot, I swear I'm going to puke on him one day

OneDayLikeThis2013 · 03/06/2014 10:58

I'm glad I'm not alone with the smells! I'll have to tell DH I'm not such a weirdo after all with me constantly saying 'Oh my god can you smell that?!'

Frances congratulations on your scan. It's wonderful seeing the heartbeat isn't it. Like you, it made the pregnancy feel more real for us as we actually saw something! I find myself with a hand constantly over my belly now without even realising it.

Great news Frances

This smell business is so weird for me. Before I was pregnant I had no sense of smell, nothing at all, but now..... I went for a walk yesterday and was heaving at every shop, coffee shop, bin I passed. I was much happier in my smell free world

Frances that's great news about your scan today Smile

Livvy that's awful that the midwife is judgy towards you Hmm will you be seeing her all the way through?

I had my booking in this morning. Very straightforward but taking blood was difficult as I have thin veins! Managed to squeeze some out Grin

I was terrified of being weighed but it turns out I've only put on a few pounds which is less than I thought. I'm guessing the huge belly and hips is more water retention then?

I'm so excited to get home later and read all my leaflets Grin
