ralv · 01/06/2014 09:06

Thanks keeponploddingon
Feeling a little tired and a little queasy but on the whole loving being pregnant :)

Just cannot wait for the 12 week scan so I can hopefully start being a little less anxious and share the exciting news with our friends and family!!

Ryslady · 01/06/2014 09:45

Hi I have reading this thread for a while but couldn't bring my self to join in but now I'm taking plunge!!

I was on the December thread (under a different name) due 6th December 2014 with my second child. I have a DS who is 8. Unfortunately i had a ectopic pregnancy and had surgery on the 12th April to remove my pregnancy and right Fallopian tube.
I was told after surgery I had endometriosis which I knew nothing about.
They said I could try again when I felt emotionally ready and I would get a period 4-6 weeks after surgery.

Well that period never arrived and I'm pregnant again!!

How lucky am I EnvyEnvyEnvy

Got an early scan on Wednesday to date me coz got no period to go by, and also to check that the bun is in the right oven this time!!
I think I will be due sometime mid January and am around 6 weeks now.

Today I am pregnant xxxx

lindamagoo · 01/06/2014 09:50

Great pic Saras!! Smile

Welcome Ryslady, Sorry you had to go through an ectopic, but lady luck was certainly on your side. FX for a straight forward and healthy pregnancy this time for you.

blizy · 01/06/2014 11:43

Welcome ryslady, sorry to hear about your recent loss. "Today I am pregnant" is also my mantra, I'm 6 weeks today.

Sara's, fab scan photo!
Hope everyone is ok.

Saraswati · 01/06/2014 11:52

Thanks all Grin

Welcome ryslady wow what a roller coaster for you but congratulations on your pregnancy and fingers crossed for your scan.

Also welcome to all other newbies, we are a chatty bunch so get stuck in :)

Off to london to enjoy the sunshine with DH and bask in post-scan happiness before the pre 12 week scan anxiety sets in ;) also no ms so far today- that's definitely something to celebrate!! Hope you all see some sunshine today and ms buggers off!

Loobyloo893 · 01/06/2014 12:33

Aw the pictures lovely Saras. So cute Smile
So after not really having any symptoms apart from extreme tiredness and hunger I had my first bout of ms today not actually sick but a lot of retching and if there had been anything in my stomach pretty sure I would have been. Took DS out for morning and forgot to keep snacking, was too busy playing. Big mistake. Must keep eating! New mantra I think to avoid anymore ms.

Minibagel · 01/06/2014 12:44

Wow Saraswati I love your scan picture!

And welcome Ryslady we must be due a week or two apart as that is around when I had my mc. I also got pg without a period in between but think I'm 7 weeks, rather than more.

gingermopped · 01/06/2014 13:00

Hi new on here, I'm shell and due Jan, had scan on Fri but due to tilted uterus couldn't get best look, have provisional date of 20th Jan.
This is my 6th preg and I have 4 children, from what iv seen ur all on one or two, still in shock I think and have worst morning sickness :(

Ryslady · 01/06/2014 13:15

Thank you all for your welcoming messages, I've enjoyed reading your posts over the last couple of weeks and am now looking forward to getting involved.

Sorry for your loss minibagel and congratulations on your current pregnancy. I have no idea really how far gone I am, it is 7 weeks since my surgery so I think I'm about 6-7 weeks. Will know for sure on Wednesday, it can't come quick enough!

Ryslady · 01/06/2014 13:16

Oh and how do I do bold letters on an ipad?

MademoiselleG · 01/06/2014 13:20

Welcome ryslady , what a fantastic story!!

Bold: write
I think a few tips are right at the bottom of the page where you post?

I'm not posting much at the moment but lurking. Feeling a bit anxious really and don't want to obsess too much comparing symptoms I dint have etc., but I'll sure be back 100% when (not if!) the 12wk scan has confirmed all is well.

Enjoy the sunshine ladies!

phoebs88 · 01/06/2014 14:56

Sara what a lovely scan pic Smile

Ryslady, sorry to hear about your loss but fingers crossed for this pg.

Is anyone else just finding it a mission to do ANYTHING? Eating...don't fancy anything other than carbs. Can't drag myself up to do anything other than potter round the house. Then I fancy something to eat (shock!) but don't want to get out my pjs to go to the shops! Hmm

I'm hoping that being back at work tomorrow will just give me something to focus on rather than being all mopey!

RPopz · 01/06/2014 15:06

I hear ya Phoebs! Work is even worse... haha.

LulusMiniEgg · 01/06/2014 15:12

I'm hating work at the mo-it's such an effort and I feel so rough, like a hangover but without the fun the night before and knowledge it'll be over tomorrow!

Had a bday party for DH's birthday yesterday. Despite drinking a couple of 0% beers (yuck!) I was still accused of not drinking and being pregnant. Denied it and drank a teeny glass of spritzer but I cannot wait until I have my scan on the 20th and it can a be out in the open!

mummyk8 · 01/06/2014 15:41

Thank you everyone. I have had a few nauseous days quite a few windy days and am tired all the time it's impossible for to get through the day without a nap. Thankfully I work from home so it's not an issue. Today if it wasn't for faint achy breasts I feel totally normal today and seem to have stopped bleeding thankfully.

cheshirem2b · 01/06/2014 16:03

We went to wedding and Evening reception yesterday. I'm on call for work this weekend so used that as my not drinking excuse which worked. Got home abt 11pm & very tired today. Been in work 9-3.30, got home, sat on sofa & cried to the cat! Sobbing... For no reason other than being tired! Oh dear...Blush

KeepOnPloddingOn · 01/06/2014 16:31
