I'm def a cocoa butter fan, always said I would use it from the word go if I got pg... not got round to it yet though!

Great news Gingy and Linda Grin

j200 20 times a day sounds pretty bloody serious!!! Shock Didn't the GP even ask for a sample to culture? Hope you feel better soon.

Anyone else getting royally effing tired of feeling sick all the time!!? How can I be starving and bloated and feel sick all at the same time!?

KeepOnPloddingOn · 29/05/2014 19:44

I am using coconut oil - its is the stuff of gods! Dd loves it too :)

I am 9 weeks today. Yay!

Gingy and Linda- glad all ok :)

Minibagel · 29/05/2014 20:08

I used palmers cocoa butter for stretch marks but I just got too big towards the end and had some on each hip and from my belly button down (which I couldn't see until after!) it's genetic I think, so ask your mum if she had them. But there are very few things that make a pregnant woman feel pampered, so it's definitely a good habit to get into. That and regular pedicures, especially if you're big in summer and can't reach yourself.

I am finding it harder to do my jeans up, but I'm only 7 weeks, maybe some of us get more bloating than others? I have hardly been able to eat so it can't be chubb.

ChineseFireball · 29/05/2014 20:17

Good news Gingy and Linda Smile

I agree it is tiresome feeling grim all the time. I've had a stupid drip from my nose into my throat since week 5 and it is horrid. Adds to the nausea Sad my nose is runny too so I'm wondering whether despite all this rain it's stupid hayfever.

I'm hugely fat in the tummy area as well and it's starting to get so that I can't really hide it. Most of my trousers are low slung ones and the fatness is quite high up so I can still get into them but sheeeesh. I just need the bump to hang on for a couple more weeks! One of my friends at work asked me if I was "...you know..." today so it's definitely showing.

My chippy slave aka DH has returned with my kebab that I have been craving all day, and now I'm not sure I want it Sad arses. Oh well. Best at least give it a shot Wink

9+5

Hey KeepOn date twin! So apparently this week we're carrying a jelly baby...

It's pretty soul destroying Mslad working my way back up the sizes of my old jeans but I keep thinking I got in shape before, I can do it again. I'm lucky there's an amazing specialist antenatal instructor at my gym and she's helping coach me through so hopefully I won't balloon too much! She gave me adaptations for yoga tonight and I had the devils own job resisting my automatic urge to do the standard routine.

blitzy I'm a keen regular camper but the idea of festival camping (and loos) at 23 weeks fills me with horror so I don't blame you for opting for a day ticket. Thankfully my BIL's colleague has offered him his static near the Bestival site so that's what swung it for me. As long as I have a shipment of TravelJohns with me I'll be reet. A local festival sounds like a good compromise.,Sara.

It's encouraging to hear all this talk of stretch marks being successfully prevented. I'm definitely going to get on the moisturiser after 12wk, although I know I'll struggle to get into the habit, not being one for body moisturising usually!

Feeling very sorry for all those with bad ms. I know you're probably sick of hearing it but at least it's a good symptom. Other than the BFP, the only thing that suggests I'm pregnant is the lack of AF and a bit of weight gain, not a sniff of any other symptom!

RPopz · 29/05/2014 20:37

Chinese that happens to me with all food now!! Annoying isn't it. I want it, I need it, I... eeeurgh... Grin Hope you managed to force some down anyway Wink

I feel a bit fatter in the belly area too. Especially on an evening when I'm so bloated. DH says not though but maybe he's just being kind! Hmm

KeepOnPloddingOn · 29/05/2014 20:38

Hullo viva ! How exciting we share the same due date :) I have heard its an olive ... Same difference! So exciting. :)

KeepOnPloddingOn · 29/05/2014 20:40

chinese a kebab? Oooft, my kinda woman!

Chuck any leftovers this way will you? Plenty of garlic mayo too I hope? :)

ViviPru · 29/05/2014 20:44

Ha olive works for me!

ChineseFireball · 29/05/2014 20:47

Well it was not as good as I'd imagined but it was ok Grin The chips got cold while I was eating the (chicken) kebab though so didn't want those. I usually have chilli sauce in mine but didn't want to chance it given my slightly ropey tummy status so had it with nothing but allthesalads, instead opting for salad cream from my fridge. That may have been an error and the cause of the diminished satisfaction. Ah well...The chicken "meat" was fairly garlicky though, if that makes a difference? Smile

Minibagel · 29/05/2014 20:50

Just had to google travel johns...

ChineseFireball · 29/05/2014 21:02

I was getting round to that, minibagel. Save us the trouble, won't you? Grin

Pesto11 · 29/05/2014 21:03

Saras- I feel like my abdomen is rising. All getting a lot rounder. Something is going on! Wearing trousers is quite painful now. Same as you I don't want to but maternity stuff yet... But I need some comfy work trousers for the next 4 weeks !

Bit of a strange symptom- Anyone else having nosebleeds? I've had 3 in 2 weeks. Googled it- apparently something to do with a combination of increased blood and delicate blood vessels...

Minibagel · 29/05/2014 21:12

Haha :) little bags filled with gel that turns urine solid when you wee into them. Easy to seal and dispose of apparently too :0

RPopz · 29/05/2014 21:19

Haven't had it myself but heard of it before Pesto. A friend's mum said she'd never had one ever until she was pg - that's how she found out!

blizy · 29/05/2014 21:24

pesto I had lists of nosebleeds during my first pregnancy. I would often wake at night covered in blood.

ViviPru · 29/05/2014 21:33

Yes TravelJohns are a godsend for camping when you wake up at the crack of dawn dying for a pee but CBA to get up and traipse across the campsite to the loos. A separate porch area in your tent is essential in order to preserve marital harmony though!!

ChineseFireball · 29/05/2014 21:47

I think I need to get some of those and I don't even do camping. They sound like A Marvellous Invention.

lindamagoo · 29/05/2014 21:56

Pesto I had nosebleeds in both pregnancies with my boys, none so far this time though

Usually happens in the night. That plus needing the loo usually wakes me up at 2am!
Doesn't last long. Just strange. Oh well... Something else that I've discovered!

MrsCK · 29/05/2014 22:39

In my emma's diary mum to be pack there was a bottle of cocoa butter...love it! DH and I have just been and bought a new mattress. I made him promise we would get one before my BFP so that my back was more supported. It arrives tomorrow and I can't wait! Even more of a reason for afternoon naps!

MightyQuin1201 · 29/05/2014 22:46

Hello... I would like to nervously join, if okay? First bfp ever, coming up to 6 weeks- edd is January 24th. I'm a terrible worrier Blush

LuluJakey1 · 29/05/2014 23:04

Can I join in please?
First baby, 8 weeks + 5 according to early scan- bit of a surprise 'cos we thought 6 weeks but not really kept track of periods.
Had come off pill at Christmas but my mum died and we decided to use condoms for a while but never really bothered and were about to start trying for serious but had already happened! Hurrah!
Both early 35, married nearly 4 years.
We are delighted. Grin
Boobs have grown and started feeling sick - it's horrible.
DH is lovely. Will be great dad.

LuluJakey1 · 29/05/2014 23:05

Hello Mighty I am new too. Smile
