Thank you all.

I PASSED!

DisneyDiva87 · 20/05/2014 10:27

Hey Monster (I love calling you that, it's like I'm insulting you but in an affectionate way Smile)

I was on my holidays in Crieff Hydro, was the best week ever (this year) and took my mind off the fact that this time last year I was having the most amazing time ever in Florida and that was actually about the time I stopped taking my pill too. Oh how much goes on in a year!

How are everyone's bumps getting on? Mine is wriggling away at the minute and breaking my concentration (and sleep). I'm on a PRINCE2 course tomorrow for the rest of the week hopefully I can concentrate enough to pass the multiple choice, open book exam Grin

If you have FB you should join the FB group, it's worth it just to see the photos on bump Wednesday. Although PM someone don't post your personal details in the thread as you never know who might be reading it, I'd see if you could get that removed Weeza but that's just me.

Oh after "insulting" you I meant to say CONGRATULATIONS! Thanks

Well done monsters. Weeza I went to primark at the weekend and bought large size vest tops and shorts. Much cheaper than maternity stuff and fits ok

eurochick · 20/05/2014 11:21

Well done monster!

DisneyDiva87 · 20/05/2014 12:13

My local primark has started doing maternity clothes, I got 3 maternity vest tops from there plus all my leggings and a few other tops.

Congratulations, Monster! It's such a great feeling, isn't it!

I have one maxi dress that fits me at the moment, but I have a feeling it won't expand much further. It is all I have worn for the last few days! I might just pick up a couple of cheap maternity ones from eBay . . .

Secretlypregnant · 20/05/2014 12:35

Also, welcome nc060! Hope your pregnancy is going well so far?

HungryHorace · 20/05/2014 13:31

Congratulations, Monster. That's great news.

I reported Weeza's post last night to get it removed, but MN hasn't done anything yet. Maybe Weeza needs to do it herself? :-/

ilovemonstersInc · 20/05/2014 16:18

Thank you x

I bought some normal maxis from George asda and tx maxx both under 20?

weeza13 · 20/05/2014 16:44

Well done Monster. Thank you to people for trying to help remove my details, thought I had done a private message but obv not.having a really tired day today. Pissed off with doctors and mw after waiting a week for results for possible uti only to find I have to call different number that seems constantly engaged. Just want to get treatment started then had some idiot hit my car on way home from very busy day where I got about 10 min lunch break. Think I need some sugar or will get uncharacteristically teary.

LouLou520 · 20/05/2014 20:55

Ello everyone! I'm totally new here and this is my very first post I'm due on 15th August with 1st child and am 35. What else do I need to do? I like the sound of the secret FB group. :-D

HungryHorace · 21/05/2014 08:31

Hi Lou! Do you know the sex of your baby?

If you'd like to join the Facebook group, PM me your real name, email address and a description of your profile picture and I'll add you. :-)

LouLou520 · 21/05/2014 18:32

Hi Horace - I do! It's a boy. I'll figure out how to message you now.

It's lovely to read everyone's posts and hear that people are going through the same thing. Must admit I've been worried about not seeing my MW at all (I'm 27+5 weeks) since the booking in appointment - but then I did see the doctors a fair bit due to potential short cervix concerns so maybe that's why. I also get mega pangs of anxiety (not helped by reduced lung capacity!) and have to sit and breathe and tell myself it's okay not to be able to do all the things I was able to do before getting pregnant. It's so easy to be too hard on yourself.

Anyone know of any good deals going on at the moment? :-D

thatwhichwecallarose · 21/05/2014 18:46

Hey everyone! 30 weeks today and 7 weeks (33 working days) left at work!

Starting to ache no matter how I sit, pregnancy rhinitis means I keep DH awake by snoring, and sleeping is a nightmare (esp with the heat of the last few nights). So big moaning session from me!

Hope everyone else is keeping ok!

Heatherbell1978 · 21/05/2014 19:16

Hi Lou, I'm new here too, also due 15th August, also having my first, also having a boy! (I'm 36). I need to join this FB group too....

LouLou520 · 22/05/2014 21:51

Hi Heather - welcome! Wow - we have a lot in common. I've just joined the FB group thanks to Horace - come join us! :-D

topmammy · 24/05/2014 12:04

Morning ladies! It's rather quiet here.... the thread even disappeared from my list Shock lol. Wondering if I should join the FB group?! Is it the same as this basically?

Im venturing out to buy a car seat today despite the shocking weather. Shame my coat no longer zips up now!

Hope you're all doing well. :)

HungryHorace · 24/05/2014 12:36

It's like this but with photos and plenty of TMI, mammy!

ChubbyBumpy · 24/05/2014 19:32

Hi guys, been lurking & routing for everyone. Haven't been confident enough to join due to previous mishap (long story) but I'll be 30weeks tomorrow & would love to share the rest of the Journey with fellow August mamas-2-be.

ChubbyBumpy · 24/05/2014 19:37

*rooting for everyone (blush)

Secretlypregnant · 24/05/2014 21:53

Hi ChubbyBumpy, welcome! And congratulations on hitting 30 weeks tomorrow - that's the next big milestone for me. I am 29 weeks today.

ChubbyBumpy · 24/05/2014 22:57

Thanks Secretly... Congratulations on 29. I celebrated my 29th as I felt it was the last of the 20's(if that makes any sense) it felt like the biggest milestone ever.

HungryHorace · 25/05/2014 08:03

Hi Chubby! I'll be 30 weeks on Thursday and can't wait!

I think 34 weeks is the next milestone as babies born then don't seem to do too badly, and after that date it's all about weight gain not development. Time is going quite fast, so hopefully that'll come round quickly!

ilovemonstersInc · 25/05/2014 09:19

I was actually excited the othee day about having a newborn rather than worried aabout how im going to cope. I hope it stays like this. As long as I have a hand (which I will hopefully first2 weeks dh and then will stay at mums during day if I can make it over with 3 babies) the main thing worrying me is if ds2 starts for a feed and baby wants a feee too. Hopefully get into a routine in the early days. Ive cut ds2 feeds down as he wasn't taking much during day so if he has a bottle at night and morning and 1 when I go to bed he is actually having more rather than less so during the day I dont have to worry about his bottle. He can use his juice beaker too now.
