Nazly: ours were by RoomMates and they were different planets and rockets.

ilovemonstersInc · 01/06/2014 09:11

Wow donteven they sound good value for money!!

Dinah yup they are bh I had them before 26 weeks so dont worry too much

sun is shining here. Going to try and convince ds to go to the park if he can handle it.

CumbrianExile · 01/06/2014 09:24

Tea I attempted to paint my own toe nails yesterday afternoon, ended up with more on my toes than my nails haha. Think I might treat myself to a pedicure at some point!

Missingcaffeine · 01/06/2014 09:35

cumbrian I treated myself to a pedicure last weekend for the same reason. It's so uncomfortable reaching toes now!

Nazly · 01/06/2014 10:02

Dontevev wooow!! That's quality!! I bet you don't remember the brand now? I'll check them out
Amy I hear roommate is a good one; will check them out too

The etsy ones I fell in love with their graphics but they are very expensive because they're hand made , cant justify spending that much money now though...

I'm upset with my last purchase, got a cheap chest of drawers from amazon for baby ( it only goes into our wall fitted cupboard so didn't care about look much but it is so awful I gave up assembling it in the middle! Not sure if ever finish it ! Thats 58 quid gone!

Nazly · 01/06/2014 10:05

Oh and Dinah and tops, I woke up today with exactly same thoughts: I can't handle staying on one side, I am on my back half of the times... Hope baby would be OK with that

ilovemonstersInc · 01/06/2014 10:49

I managed to do my own tow nails Grin I sit cross legged to do it rather than bending over bump I have a baby elephant so can no longer see toes Blush

Topsyloulou · 01/06/2014 11:19

Managed to do my toenails this morning. All those years of yoga have their benefits!

whiteblossom · 01/06/2014 11:36

I gave up doing my toenails months ago, I couldn't get booked in my local salon and now ds is off school so Ill have to book in for next week. I HATE not having my toenails painted!

All my painting is done now, carpet fitted tomorrow and then we can start getting the house back to normal. My lovely fabric has arrived so I need to get sewing and take my chair to be upholstered. I really need to get a move on with ordering the cotbed & pushchair and go to ikea- need some drawers.

Im keen to get whatever shopping needs doing done sooner rather than later when Im big and its hot. oh and my new sofa is ready for delivery so everything is shaping up nicely Smile

Kt1991 · 01/06/2014 12:39

I got my younger step sis to paint my nails for me last week, she offered, so will have to ask her if she doesn't mind doing it for me up until baby comes! Wish it would get a bit more warmer (I know I probably won't be saying that in a couple of weeks!) but I literally do not fit in any of my clothes, and want to get the maxi dresses out! Even the work maternity trousers I have are starting to feel tight :/

Today is a bad day, my back is so sore I assume from a tiny bit of gardening I did yesterday, my husband got totally tanked last night, even in the spare room I could hear him snoring & then vomiting this morning, hardly had a wink of sleep, now I'm sat like a zombie in our overgrown garden that stinks of dog wee & contemplating hurting myself more mowing the lawn because he will be in no fit state to do it today, next week is forecast rain every day. I'm so annoying & having a wimper & sorry for myself session!

topmammy · 01/06/2014 14:36

Aw Dinah don't worry we all need a moan sometimes. When I did some gardening last weekend my back was also so sore and stiff the next day so I can sympathize. I alternated between putting an ice pack and a warm wheatie bag on my back and it helped. Luckily my DH hates drinking so don't have to deal with those unpleasant side effects!

I can still just about paint my toe nails... probably not for much longer though!

ilovemonstersInc · 01/06/2014 15:08

Kt its lovely here. Im in nw and it's definitely maxi dress season!

cookielove · 01/06/2014 18:36

Hello all, I think even the slightest thing can mess up our backs, picking up the babies at work sent my back into spasms last week. Not nice. I do suffer from back problems though!

I'm off to california in less than a week whoop whoop!

holls2000 · 01/06/2014 19:17

Oh cookie, you lucky thing. Enjoy!

Have had a really busy couple of days - haven't felt the little one wriggling as much but think just because I have (a) been rushing around and also (b) have been v weepy so think hormone surge - possibly growth spurt? Felt a big kick on the outside fir the first time on fri night which was fab, now trying to chill and encourage done wiggling!!

Hope all ok!

Acorncat · 01/06/2014 23:07

cookie very jealous, we had a great road trip round there last year - would love to go back one day not gonna happen

Not much to report here, everything's just getting a little bit more of an effort. Still not bought anything, decided on any names or sorted my antenatal course - think I might have missed the boat on that one!

cookielove · 02/06/2014 07:44

acorn I sorted out my course last week, so you should still have time to sort it :)

whiteblossom · 02/06/2014 10:03
