holls2000 · 07/05/2014 17:56

How did you get on, ilove? Xxx

CoolCat2014 · 07/05/2014 18:04

Hope everything is ok ilove!

For anyone painting & decorating - try to limit your exposure to white spirit or brush cleaning chemicals, or keep jars outside somewhere. I'm a part time artist, and it's the only thing that has come up to be avoided as much as poss in pregnancy. Paints using heavy metals also not ideal, but most modern ones don't, and you'd probably have to do finger painting to absorb any! lead based paints are a no-no, but I think you'd be hard pushed to find any these days. Just don't use 30 year old tins of paint!

lilone1234 · 07/05/2014 18:19

ilove I hope you're alright!

I also have a big blue vein across my breast ella! Most unattractive lol.

tea Your husband doing all that is lovely, but you are pregnant so you do deserve some tlc!

polkadotdelight · 07/05/2014 18:46

I hope all is ok Ilove

No veins yet but Im sure they are waiting for me!

xxmissbrightsidexx · 07/05/2014 19:13

Hope everythings okay ilove xx

Been getting really bad pains today as well, thinking it's BH though? Forgot how much it hurts xx

cookielove · 07/05/2014 19:34

Oh no ilove I completely missed your post, fx the pain ends soon!

Teabiscuits · 07/05/2014 20:08

ilove hope you are ok and home soon Thanks .

I'm getting Braxton Hicks today too, trying not to worry about it but I'm such a basket case after my last birth I always jump to the worst conclusion. I think the fact I am wearing size 10 maternity jeans is making it feel worse than it is. I'll have to stick to size 12s from now on!

Time for Pjs, hot chocolate and a book in bed I think Smile .

CumbrianExile · 07/05/2014 20:18

ILove hope everythings ok Thanks

I felt hic-cups for the first time last night. What a wierd (but lovely) feeling that is!

Topsyloulou · 07/05/2014 20:44

Ilove hope everything is ok.

Finally managed to sit down for the evening & the little man is kicking like crazy, think it's his way of protesting about how busy I've been today. Work is absolutely mental at the minute & looks like it's going to get worse. Only another 65 days left!

Hiccups are a very weird feeling but nice weird. Although wasn't enjoying it as much at 3.30 the other morning!

DownstairsMixUp · 07/05/2014 20:45

Sending my love to ilove to. Hope you are ok!

I also have veiny breasts. Not a good look!

Lottiedoubtie · 07/05/2014 21:03

ilove thinking of you.

topmammy · 07/05/2014 21:08

Thinking of you ilove Thanks Hope everything is ok.

Tea what fab hubby you have! My DH has his moments like that too, except for putting washing on. Literally the only time he has touched the washing machine was when he moved it out the utility room in order to tile the floor lol. I don't mind though :)

I'm 24w+2 and not had BH yet....guess I'll know it when it happens?

Don't think I have felt baby hiccup yet, how can you tell?

My baby has been bladder dancing too Grin

Cindy5389 · 07/05/2014 21:54

Thinking of u ilove.

2nd attempt at 20week scan tomorrow. So excited to see baby again. Let's hope it cooperates this time round. Does anyone know what happens if baby still hasn't moved positions? I will b 22weeks on Sat.

HippyJess, good luck for Saturday! I'm sure u will have an amazing day.

Fairypants · 07/05/2014 23:08

I hope everything's ok ilove.

You may not recognise bh topmammy- I didn't in my first 2 pregnancies but have in this one. Once I recognised them, I felt pretty sure I had that feeling with the others but thought it was baby in a weird position.
Next time anyone updates the stats, would you update me to team pink? I'm always on my phone so can't do it.

misog2000 · 08/05/2014 07:24

Hope all is ok ilove

ilovemonstersInc · 08/05/2014 07:33

Waited 5hours for s dr to do a minute internal amd send me homepains are like labour pains she said but cervix is closed which is what matters the most. Obv she said that can change anytime and anymore pink loss or pains come straight back. Which I wont until they are unbearable. They couldnt do that test which predicts if preterm labour will happen as im not far enough yet.
Thank you everyone

She did see some 'fluid' which was swabbed Could be infection which is causing pain

DownstairsMixUp · 08/05/2014 08:17

Good to hear back from you Ilove that doesn't sound too bad, how are you feeling about it?

ilovemonstersInc · 08/05/2014 08:22

Im glad im not in prem labour yet. Once im far enough will have that test done if in still getting these pains. They are really strong sharp pains. Had some more this morning. Urine is clear so no uti. Just very painful when the pain is here. When its not I'm fine.

have driving test in 12days so need to pass that first!

Lottiedoubtie · 08/05/2014 08:28

Glad you didn't have to be kept in or anything ilove hope it all settles down soon.

Dazedconfused · 08/05/2014 08:35

Glad everything seems ok ilove fingers crossed pain subsides.

ilovemonstersInc · 08/05/2014 08:44
