Agree bugs. I think I will find the whole thing hard.

So all was good at scan Grin and movin about vigorously so just that anterior placenta stopping me feeling it. We had to go for a walk as was in a funny position but managed to get it all in the end.

Feel exhausted now. Think it's the adrenaline build up.

TaytoCrisp · 23/05/2014 22:05

Congrats on the good scan rainy. Hope all fine with you too bugs.

Agree its a pain not to be able to really enjoy being pregnant.. I'm feeling more confident (though need to get past 24 weeks to relax a bit), I feel like I'm holding onto a bag tension that sits there and builds between scans. Anyway glad to be heading towards wk 22, starting countdown to mat leave!!

fedupofrainydays · 28/05/2014 20:35

Me too. Starting counting to mat leave. I've just counter and have 36 working days left. OMG!!

Bit of both. I work part time - 3 days a week. But a long 3 days! And finishing at end of aug (not agreed with HR yet as she's never in the bloody office) as ds starts nursery in sept (just afternoons) so can't be arsed to get childcare sorted for mornings just for a month (not paying for it when on mat leave if don't need it!)

Still 12 weeks though - as only get through 3 days a week!

Got brave and told some people at work today. Everyone had guessed due to bump but pleased all the same! One man hugged me - he knows my history and his wife had 3 mc. Was so nice he cared (we are friends so not a weird hug situation!!)

Glad to hear it bugs

Hey all - how are you all doing? I've just returned from a break to Devon. Was a bit of a mare in the end, my husband has a bad back so has awful nights sleeping. And I it turn out am a huge sufferer of indigestion it seems. I have been feeling sicky and acidy for a while in my tummy and have been supping on gaviscon. Of late I have noted that this has been waking me. Coupled with this I have also been having what I can only describe as constipation type pain in my lower abdomen. Last night was the final straw, I was awake with the above for like 4 hours so we decided to cut the break short so I could get back to be near my hospital etc.

I called the midwife today and also the triage nurse at the delivery suite and they seem to think this is all normal and I will just feel uncomfortable. I don't mind this at all to be honest I just wish they could guarantee me that this isn't effecting the baby in any way which of course no matter how much they reassure me, they can't.

I have docs next Tuesday plus the midwife so will get a follow up opinion from them, if it is just indigestion and constipation/growing pains (i have to admit I've had another explosion bump wise this week) then that's fine. But what happens if it's not? I am going to beg for a blood test from the doc next week.
Ugh worry worry worry!

fedupofrainydays · 30/05/2014 08:20

Can you go to the loo ok tum? Could just be trapped wind from the acid? I recommend lactulose if you are having constipation probs or windeeze for gas! Pretty sure you can take lactulose when preg. That or fibrgel.

I doubt it's anything more serious than some sort of stretching pain or digestive. But get it checked for peace of mind xx

TaytoCrisp · 30/05/2014 10:27

Hi all, hope you are keeping well as we head towards another weekend! Please come out sun...

Tum i have been experiencing some of the same things recently, especially heaviness in the lower abdomin, coupled with constipation and acid (also take nice galviscon tablets). I often find it quiet worrying, but often it is pretty bad one day then ok the next. Luckily i can sleep ok - that must be very tiring for you. I think it is probably quiet normal though.

22 weeks and 2 days here. So nearly past the 23 week mark which is a big target for me! Have had low blood pressure and traces of protein in urine recently, which i would really prefer not to have, but the midwife did not seem concerned...

Cautiously counting down to mat leave here too - hope to take a whole month off before due data (yay), though think arrival is much more likely to be early than late with stitch etc.

Great you told a few people rainy - nice to be able to share some excitement!

fedupofrainydays · 01/06/2014 08:43

Woke up at 8 this morning thinking Oooh lie in! Now am tired again and want sleep. Can't win.
Been worrying about movement a lot this week as seems to be long periods when can't feel anything.

Got it approved with work that I can take my annual leave all before my leave (usually it's just what you have accrued for year) which is ace for me as then means mat leave will kick in around when baby is actually due but still leave end of aug. Phew.

I had low BP and traces of protein too last preg tayto and all was ok. They weren't concerned. Only when I had some crazy itching - but that turned out ok too after some monitoring it just went!

Millysdream · 01/06/2014 20:49

Hi ladies. Sorry haven't been on for a while. I hope everyone is doing well. I have just been keeping my head down and trying not to think too much about the pregnancy as haven't wanted to jinx anything.

Everything going ok with me. Am 26w1d today and starting to feel daily movements. My bloody placenta has been blocking them for ages so been very stressed out. Had a scan on wed and everything looks good. Dare I say it- am finally starting to chill a little.

I am feeling like a whale at the moment and am actually looking forward to dieting after the baby is born!

14 weeks to go! Phew xxx

Oh bugs. Hand holding here. But brown usually just means some old gunk coming out. Have you called anyone?

I know.. I would be the same. After mcs it's impossible not to worry at the sign of anything you don't want to see. I would be a mess too. Hang in there bugs and of it continues demand they scan / listen tomorrow. Or pay for private one for peace of mind of they refuse!

Hey all.
Buggerlugs sorry to hear about the Brown but I am SURE it is all ok. Is it lots of just a little? Any pain etc? Rest up I bet it stops in no time! Defo get a scan if you can to put your mind at rest. Hand holding you - keep us updated xxxx

Millieeee I was wondering where you'd got to! Its so hard not to think about the pregnancy and try to keep your head down but personally it is ALL I think about.

Hey tayto and fedup thanks for your comments - the indigestion is LOADS better now I have stopped drinking milk. PLUS I have been able to do a few more no. 2's which has helped immensely.

Latest gripe is if I walk for longer than say 5 mins, I get stabby pains Like a stitch on my left and right sides. Presume this is Round Ligament pain but who knows. Will ask MW tomorrow.

I also plan to ask her about the induction plan at 38 weeks. I have been getting myself into all sorts of "what ifs" on this so I will ask about her them then.
I also think I may have got 2 BH's yesterday when lying on the sofa. I thought the baby had moved and my tum was all tight and then it went after about 20 seconds. RANDOM.

Dont ever feel stupid! You will be fine - this is brown, this is old and it has stopped now. There are no accompanying pains so logic tells us that this is one of the usual things that happen in pregnancy. Its great you have your scan tomorrow - is this the full anomoaly scan?
xx

What a pain bugs - there are so many crappy worrisome things that can occur, and even if they are not major issues, it really provokes anxiety and make relaxation impossible.. Hope you have a goods an and get the reassurance you need tomor.

Hi milly. Great that all is generally well and are so far along!

Tumtimes1 · 03/06/2014 11:00

Hi bugglugs what time is your scan? Sending you positive vibes x
