Thanks for the tip Vikks, yes bare bottom would be the best! Wish it was summer... It's going OK though, just going through a lot of washing! :) think he's really ready for it now.

Oh and Vikks, mrsa has not been mentioned to me. Have you been unwell? Sorry, can't keep everyone apart always!

vikks - I had the mrsa swabs done at my 34 week midwife appointment. She basically gave me two things that were like big cotton buds (the kind you use for ears). I had to put one up my nose and one at the back of my throat. Very strange but apparently standard practice here (maybe depends on hospital?). I'd have thought I might have known if I had mrsa....

Thinking of you isean and lovely that moomin has news, I felt that was a long slog so goodness knows how long it felt to her!

Exhausted here... Several broken nights thanks to DD2 bouncing on my bladder, then last night up several times with DD1 who picked up some kind of stomach bug.

Attempting to WFH today and keep an eye on DD1 at the same time - who typically seems right as rain now. Fortunately, she's currently happy running around the garden and playing with the clothes pegs. Got various films on standby!

DH is at least coming to relieve me at lunchtime, so this afternoon should be easier and I can catch up work into the evening if needed.

So glad we have a quiet weekend planned, I need the time to recover! On the plus side, less than a week remaining at work. This time next week, I'll be a lady of leisure!

You have Mrsa swabs when they know you are
Going to be having surgery ie elcs! I had my swabs done on Monday for elcs and because I work in hospital. If I have it it's come from where I work!!

Blood sugars much more stable while in hospital! Can go home tomorrow for a few hours! Yey !!

Apple my feet and hands are terribly swollen. Never got like this with dc1&2. My feet get sore when I am up and about for a while. And I can barely fit them into shoes.

Week 35 now. I am imagining that I will go early but it's wishful thinking. Breaking out in spots now and my nails are going to shit. That usually happens after I give birth.

Have DHs friends coming to stay for the weekend with their two boys. DH has been informed that he is getting the beds and cleaning done for them.

I called the docs to get my whooping cough vax today (totally slipped my mind) and they can't fit me in until next Wednesday. She just told me to cross my legs and don't give birth until then. Reassuring!

Today I'm very sore, even driving hurts my pelvis. That will be all the cleaning I did yesterday. Oops! I'll take it easier today.

Any plans for the weekend??

How do we know Moomin has news ?? Have I missed the announcement?

She put it up on fb, nanny with a beautiful photo. Hopefully she will make it on here at some point to tell all of you not in the fb group. So exciting!

Baby Gracie was born at 9.39am, weighing 6lb 5oz! She is absolutely perfect in every way! Mum, dad & baby all doing well. x

So lovely to hear everyone's baby news!!! I have been checking the Facebook group constantly!! Can't believe we are having babies already, I think I need to get a wiggle on and maybe pack my hospital bag at least! x
