Hello everyone!

I've been rubbish at keeping up this last week. Finished work then busy times trying to get house sorted also watched whole series 2 of US drama scandal

Haven't managed to roll back far enough to see WHY Moomin is being induced so soon but I'm very excited and sending lots of love.

Apols can't name check anyone else right now! But I do care! Wink

No BH here til 3rd baby.

Welcome sazz

Minions · 07/04/2014 22:00

I didn't realise I was having BH until I had one while being examined by the midwife! I thought baby was just putting itself in awkward position. I now recognise them - had lots today but pretty much none yesterday. All a bit weird but not sore or uncomfortable.

MoominIsEightNinthsManatee · 07/04/2014 22:09

Thanks everyone! Having pro pess at around half 6, then its a day and night of bouncing and hiking around the hospital!y mum is coming up to give OH a rest from listening to me witter on endlessly in the afternoon :) already quite soft and effaced apparently, and my plug keeps coming away (icky Hmm ) so hopefully babys ready, just needs that little push :D

Got 3rd steroid jab at half 11, then time to see if I can sleep!!

Chip86 · 07/04/2014 22:18

Welcome sazz

hope u get some sleep tonight moomin

minions i was the same did not know i was having BH till MW pointed it out,
to me they feel like lots of pressure on my bladder like i need to pee but cant when i go, and belly very tight right accross the middle were belly button is, and baby likes to stick out as much as possible at the same time like she is trying to escape them, but like everything i bet every one is diffrent

Clairededare · 07/04/2014 22:28

snoozysleeper · 07/04/2014 22:29

Good luck Moomin! Exciting! Will be thinking of you & hoping everything goes quickly, smoothly & as it should!

Safe journey bush!

Hope everyone else is ok & coping!
I will be 37 weeks & in the drop zone tomorrow! I'm at the hospital in the morning for monitoring, a presentation check to see if baby is still breech (99% sure it is!) & hopefully/finally they'll make a plan for ECV, then induction or section!
The itching from the OC is back with a vengeance so I hope they don't make me wait too long!

mrsmummytobe · 07/04/2014 23:03

impatientlywaiting · 07/04/2014 23:45

Welcome to the thread Sazza.

Good luck for tomorrow Moomin, we will all be thinking about you. Can't wait to hear if it's a boy or girl. Hope you can get some sleep so you are rested for tomorrow.

LongTailedTit · 08/04/2014 00:12

Welcome sazza! :)

Good luck for tomorrow Moomin, hope you get a reasonable night's rest and a good breakfast so you have plenty of energy for an amazing day!

Hezbean I didn't think I had any BH with DS, this time however they started out sore so I figured it out pretty quickly! Now I get them every time I bend over or have to crouch down to do something with DS, but mainly they're just a bit uncomfortable, and some I barely notice.
Apparently it's quite common not to notice them in your 1st pregnancy.

I finally finished my hospital bag this evening!
My Top Tip of the day is to make a stash of all your spare/extra/might-need-it-might-not stuff and make sure your DP knows where it is. If I get stuck in Hospital for ages and ask DH to bring in my spare leggings/extra maternity pads/feeding bras etc he wouldn't have a clue where to look - so now it's all in a box in our bedroom. Sorted theoretically .

MasterFlea · 08/04/2014 06:04

Best of luck today Moomin. Hope it goes as smoothly as possible for you and miniMoom

No FB here either. Loathe the site after using it for a few years. Hopefully peeps will still post here too.

DH half joked last night that I won't be able to cope with 3 dcs. Bit fucking late now to have doubts about my parenting skills. Rather peeved but also worried that he is right. DD(2yo) was like a demon yesterday and I really wanted a break when DH got home.

SarahJinx · 08/04/2014 06:52

Good luck today Moomin, it's on,,, by the end of the day we'll have our glorious second Maybie Baby!

Groan to night one with no codeine (thanks for the knowledge dobedo I think!) fanjo bone feels like its split down the middle, yum!

Hi all!

I've mainly lurked from the first thread. I'll admit, I bit useless at keeping up. Also haven't really wanted to jinx things. Feels like I've been pregnant forever urgh. EDD 8th May, not long to go, Fx.

Good luck Moomin.

It's great to see a few little ones already making an appearance.

Master I feel like I've spent the last few weeks telling Dd 2.6 off for one reason or another. Terrible twos have finally hit us with a vengeance. I had to fireman lift her out of a garden center the other day after yet another meltdown, I wouldn't buy her the bloody parrot from the pet section. Hmm

Bezzabelle · 08/04/2014 07:27

What is it with ds's being naughty at the moment?! Mine was on the naughty step a lot yesterday afternoon! I think they are wiser than we think and are acting up about the changes that are coming??

Chip, I also have a daily to-do list, I feel a bit geeky but helps me feel less overwhelmed when I get things ticked off. Am slowly working my way round each room in the house so that when baby comes, I'm not stressing about mess/clutter. All of ds's clothes are down from loft and sorted now and half way to being washed. Dh is laying our new patio today which I really want done before baby comes.

I also hate Facebook and not on it so really hope people keep posting on here!

Good luck moomin- I'm guessing girl!

Bornin1984 · 08/04/2014 08:30

I have my last consultant ante natal appt today!!! Ohhhhh

moas · 08/04/2014 09:12

Good luck with induction today moomin and bornin for your appointment!

sarahjinx have you tried a heat pack on the pelvis? I have pelvic pain at the front and heat helps, i have one of those wheat pillows you heat up in the microwave as hot water bottle is difficult. Pain comes back as soon as I take it off but it's quite good in bed.

Growth scan was fine yesterday, ELCS booked for 15.5 if nothing's happened by then (edd 2.5). Happy about the plan, it's getting real! They want to have another look at baby's kidneys in a couple of weeks. She said it's nothing to worry about at the moment but because of everything that went on with DS I can't help but feeling a bit anxious. Absolutely forcing myself not to google (not easy).

Rigbyroo · 08/04/2014 09:27

Moomins having her babeeeeeee! Yahooooo! I'm really excited!
Finished work, yay! Easter hols then maternity leave officially starts, already feel like a weight has been lifted. Baby so wriggly, feels like he never sleeps and it hurts now and it's exhausting. So pleased to read about siblings being monkeys at the moment. Dd is almost 2 and being such hard work at the moment, she knows!
random I tried to pm you but couldn't.

pickletalk14 · 08/04/2014 09:30

Good luck moomin.

I'm 50 mins in to my 2 hour wait for GTT! And not only am I starving but the icky drink is making my heartburn worse. Yuk.

Moan moan! Trying to write handover notes for work to distract me..

Chip86 · 08/04/2014 10:12

Im glad im not the only one bezz

All the best with your appointment borin and pickle but that does not sound fun

moas its not easy but Dr Google is never your friend and just make you worry even more im sure baby will be fine as MW said nothing to worry about

moas enjoy your time off

im struggeling to get the balance right between rest and excercise, im so tired because i dont sleep at night so sleep best early morning but need to be going swimming and walking so i suppose i can do that in the afternoon, but then when am i ment to do house work am i trying to do to much

NannyPlumForPM · 08/04/2014 11:21

Eurgh pickle I don't envy you! That drink was gross :(

Good luck moomin hopefully you are speeding up nicely and cervix is behaving

Really sad news about peaches geldof :( I know sometimes she was a bit of a brat but to have two Littlies left behind and she is the same age as me :(

dobedobedo · 08/04/2014 11:50

I keep reading this thread and keep meaning to reply to different specific people and then I forget who and the phone rings or something and then there's loads to catch up on again!

How you getting on moomin?

I went to Asda this morning and it almost bloody killed me! I left before I finished the shop lol. So I'll need to nip out again later. I'm trying to be productive while I'm at home all day, but the temptation to nap is so strong! So I'm doing stuff for about half an hour, chilling for an hour, and doing something else for a while. It's very hard to get stuff done with pgp, but hopefully breaking things down into bite size pieces will make it more manageable. I want the whole house spring cleaned!
Is anyone else spending their maternity leave this boring as balls way?

moobaloo · 08/04/2014 11:58

Good luck Moomin!

Dobe, I know exactly what you mean. Working pt time and off today, absolutely skint this week so trying not to go anywhere or spend anything. House is pretty clean so can't even blitz it! Plus I'm so tired I can't keep going for more than an hour max then need a rest - it's bizarre for me!

Also finding it hard to sleep at night, but soooo tiiiired!

loopylou52 · 08/04/2014 12:34

I'm aiming to do something similar dobe - jobs in the house interspersed with resting. I'm lucky in that my pgp seems to be a lot better since finishing work but trying not to get too complacent and overdo things. Feeling crappy today as have a cold and slept really badly last night so treating myself to a lazier day.

For anyone not on FB moomin's induction seems to be underway and she's having tightenings.
