This is all so exciting! Am going to get myself on the FB group too, think it's xavielli we have to pm? Will anything show up on my activity though as my baby is still a secret on Facebook and I want it to stay that way until after he's born!

bushprincess · 07/04/2014 16:41

Hi guys - anyone who wants to join the fb group feel free to PM me and I'll add you. Don't worry it's a 'secret' group so no-one sees it (bush-baby is still a FB secret too!)

NannyPlumForPM · 07/04/2014 16:47

No no no- don't all bugger off to Facebook! I don't have it :(

Mine should be coming on the 20th/21st! Being induced :) good luck moomin. Just keep in mind that the pain stops as soon as your baby is out! (Labour pains obvs....) best of luck and hope you resolved the peeping tom situ! Grin

NannyPlumForPM · 07/04/2014 16:48

Where's clearly got to? Not like her to be shhh!

Chip86 · 07/04/2014 16:48

Oooooo soooo exciting more babies congrats psynl

Welcome kir5ty

Im starting to feel like 5 weeks is ages away i want her here now (stamps feet) Grin

dobedobedo · 07/04/2014 16:56

All these immently arriving babies is so exciting and making me a bit envious! (I have another week and a half until the drop zone starts)

Welcome kir5ty! Hope I've remembered your name properly!

My first day of mat leave has been a total wash out. I've done nothing except a load of washing. I really must try better tomorrow. There's so much I need to do before the baby arrives!

Minions · 07/04/2014 17:05

All the very best moomin, how exciting that you'll have your babe in arms so soon!

Bornin1984 · 07/04/2014 17:19

Psnyl.... Are we date buddies again ;-)

Yeh moomin glad they r sorting
You out! Wahooooo our first official baby seeing Gabriel is our special baby :-)

impatientlywaiting · 07/04/2014 17:21

Welcome Kri5ty and psynl I'm so pleased your DH will be able to be at the birth. Must be such a relief and you're getting your baby next week.

Ooh it's properly all starting now. I bet once Moomin, Bornin and Psynl have their babies there will be a steady stream of arrivals to the thread.

Have a safe trip Bush, it must feel so strange packing up knowing when you go back you'll be returning with a baby! Hope the trip goes well.

MoominIsEightNinthsManatee · 07/04/2014 17:30

Thanks everyone for your messages of support! I'm struggling to namecheck due to shitty phone but hope you're all having a good day! I'm reeling... Didn't expect that at all. Had a sweep this morning and it seems to have made me have a bit of a show.

Having steroid injections (ouch) in case it ends up being an EMCS and then bracing myself for a long wait and a lot of walking and bouncing! Anyone for a hospital corridor space hopper race? Grin

psynl · 07/04/2014 17:34

Bornin - unfortunately not! They were full on Tue so I've been bumped to Wed. DP is panicking about the imminent arrival - I can't wait!

Stupid question alert - if you choose not to know the sex, is it noted anywhere regardless? Two of the people I saw at the hospital today repeatedly referred to one sex and I wondered if they knew or it was just one of those things!

Jellymum1 · 07/04/2014 17:40

moomin good luck how exciting! I hope things go very smoothly and quickly.

I got my elcs date today its 7th May so looks like I will be meeting my 2nd dd in a little over four weeks :)

I keep having very very silly thoughts around the baby's health. I am assuming its normal to get silly anxious at this stage? I keep thinking oh god there was that time before I knew I was pregnant when I had wine/eat a dippy egg/went snowboarding....... urgh.

CurlsLDN · 07/04/2014 17:50

moomin congratulations and good luck! I'm sorry this has come about in tricky circumstances, but i'm jealous that you get to see your little one really soon!

jelly we're due date buds then! Although i'm not down for a cs (yet) so he probably won't come that day. It would be amazing if he did though, as it's DHs birthday - does that mean i wouldn't have to get him a present? ;)

Chip86 · 07/04/2014 17:54

Dobe i make daily to do lists (very sad) to keep me on track and stop me being on MN all day

jelly yes its normal i have started having thouse scary birth dreams not good Smile

Jellymum1 · 07/04/2014 18:02

ahhh curls hope your baby doesnt keep you waiting and I am glad its not just me thinking irrational thoughts

Vikks · 07/04/2014 18:13

I must admit I'm getting a bit jealous too! I'm so so excited to meet my little girl and I've got that feeling I'll probably go way overdue again like last time and I'll be one of the last Maybies. Oh well...all good things...

Moomin you never know how your body will react to the induction, it could be very swift. My last induction only took about 20 mins to start working and they told me to expect about 12 hours before anything happened. Smile I'm sure we'll all be with you in spirit tomorrow. Good luck X

BlanketSky · 07/04/2014 18:43

Good luck for tomorrow Moomin hope your induction is quick and straightforward :)

Safe journey bush and bet you're relived psy hello to kristy

36 weeks today, thinking I should probably pack my hospital bag... Finally managed to wash some baby clothes over the weekend, all 0-1 stuff as efw at 34 week scan was already 6lb8oz!

DS has been a real threenager today, starting with deliberate weeing on his bedroom carpet this morning: I've done a lot of shouting (and crying) today. Not sure how I'm going to get through another 3 weeks until elcs, though tightenings and cervix stabbing today make me wonder if I will have to anyway.

It was my birthday yesterday so coffee Cake for everyone as DH made one yesterday and my mum brought me another today!

McBaby · 07/04/2014 19:49

Moomin good luck tomorrow :) lots of new born snuggles very soon.

I officially enter the drop zone tomorrow so baby will defiantly be here any time in the next 4w and 5d. Not counting down to due date this time as being a week over due last time was very frustrating!

SarahJinx · 07/04/2014 20:35

Happy Birthday Blanket, hope you had a good one, don't worry about the shouting, it's bloody tough enough being preg with a threenager (love that!) without him piddling all over the carpet, it's tear your hair out exhausting isn't it xx

moomin what time are they starting you off tomorrow? Couple of friends been induced recently and all been fairly quick and straight forward, they say the trick is keeping mobile as much as possible.

I saw MW today for 36 week app, after chatting about my minor freak out re birth, it turns out she's runs all the 'time to talk' sessions in my area - for those that don't know, it's just to go through previous labour to understand what happened etc, I never did it, she thinks it might help me a little and has booked me in for next week, and we might find out why last time was so tricky for me. I should have done it at the time really, it defo contributed to my pnd, but I feel really positive about finally facing it now, weirdly.

Anyhow, great great pics of the beautiful Gabriel, he's a miracle boy!

kally195 · 07/04/2014 20:36

I'm not sure it is humanely possible for my bump to get any more rigid or for my skin to stretch further. Can't believe there are still up to eight weeks to go!

So exciting that so many of us are meeting our babies soon. Can't wait to see photos of them all!

Hezbean · 07/04/2014 21:39

moomin - good luck tomorrow! Will be thinking of you. So excited that you get to meet your little one so soon, can't wait to hear if it's a boy or girl.

bush happy travels! You must be excited about coming home but I'm sure there's also mixed feelings about being apart from your DH. Hope the journey is OK and not too uncomfortable for you.

psynl great to hear you have a date too - fab news that they could move it forwards.

Can't believe we have so many babies arriving so soon. It's all getting SO REAL.

Welcome kir5ty!

sarahjinx - great that you can chat to your midwife and hope the chat next week helps.

Feeling quite uncomfortable today. Bump is getting heavy!!! Really can't tell which way round it is and it still seems to move around so much!

Hezbean · 07/04/2014 21:39

PS 34 weeks and still haven't had any Braxton Hicks. Is that weird?

sazzababs · 07/04/2014 21:39

Hey waves

I've been on far too many MN buses and threads to count! I finally have a successful pregnancy and now feel ok with jumping on the Maybies bus :)

I'm 34 weeks on Wed and I'm using up all my annual leave before going on Mat leave in May :) Due date of 21st May and am currently awaiting GD test results as the lass is apparently a bit of a porker XD

I've been lurking on all the past Maybie threads and try and keep up, hopefully now work is done and dusted I have time to actually post :)

Hope y'all are well and hope all goes great tomorrah Moomin!

sazzababs · 07/04/2014 21:40

Gah, forgot that asterisks before and after a worday makes it bold!

SarahJinx · 07/04/2014 21:46

hezbean me either, I'm 36 weeks today. Never had so much as on BH with DS.....Blush
