*at one side, not at one Sid!

Alpaca, DO NOT worry about seeming pushy. Nothing is more important that your health and your baby's health.

alita7 · 30/03/2014 15:50

Ooh btw happy mothers day mummies and mummies to be :D!

[Thanks]

Polkadotscarf my blood is brown & now only seems to be coming out when I go to the loo, don't know if this is good or bad?! I have done a lot of googling today but will just have to see what the scan shows tomorrow.

ElleOhElle · 30/03/2014 17:17

feeling for those of you having bleeding. really hope all is well for all if you!!
I'm so nervous about having a mmc - 12 week scan is booked for 4 weeks time and I guess I will be torturing myself until then!! would have an early scan but I know I'll just worry after having the 1st one until 11 weeks.
currently home alone feeling rough. Sad

HRMumness · 30/03/2014 17:38

Fingers crossed for you catnap.

Turns out my booking appointment really is on Easter bank holiday Monday at 9am. If we didn't already have DD I would change it but it's not like we sleep in these days anymore Grin.

I'm still amazed that I don't have morning sickness, although I do have weird food aversions and the constant hunger I had with DD so that is mostly keeping my worries at bay. Think it must definitely be a boy this time around.

Hope all the Mums had a nice day today. I got some perfume, an asos voucher and a pregnancy pillow. DH has made me breakfast and dinner plus we took DD to the zoo which was lovely. I haven't changed a single nappy today either. Will really have to go to town for Father's Day!

HRMumness · 30/03/2014 17:40

What's wrong elleohelle? Have you had a MMC before? Something not right? Someone said something about pupo which is pregnant unless proven otherwise.

ElleOhElle · 30/03/2014 17:52

HRM - there's nothing to suggest that I'm going to mc and haven't had one before DD1 is perfectly healthy - just can't get rid of this anxiety - I was the same with DD1 - just want to know everything is ok!! I think maybe it's because I have got pregnant first time again - just worry that too good to be true! I worried so much with DD1 right up until she was in my arms!! - just need to relax and enjoy - I guess there's nothing I can do to change mother nature.
feelingrough because I cannot get rid of this horrible taste and extreme tiredness!

alita7 · 30/03/2014 17:58

Hrm you certainly get treated like a queen on mothers day!

Elle I also have taste problems :/

I got a hot water bottle (which I can't use now! lol!), some bed socks and a teddy and a card from DD, and we had a girly lunch together. Oh and a box of Cadbury's Heros. They shall be gone within 24 hours...! Grin

A lot of us had cramping in the early days & it's totally normal and common, might be worth a read through the first thread if you are unsure as we were all worrying at 4/5 weeks but I'm up to 9 now so it seems ages ago! Cramps lasted till about a week or so ago and now only happen when I sneeze!

I have had horrible pain on my right side all the way through but I've had cysts for 22 years, one getting to 14 cm in the past and others I've suspected are as big or worse but never bothered seeing anyone about. I had the same pains with DD and no one ever bothered about it so largely ignoring it till the scan and will ask in passing if they can have a quick check while they're there. Am certain baby is not ectopic as when I've found the heartbeat he's been low down on the left and all my pain is high up on the right.

My boobs are getting more painful by the week and bigger & bigger (Woohoo!! Keep that coming!!) but I refuse to wear a maternity bra till I find one which won't make me want to hurl at the sight of myself in the mirror. I'm gutted Argent Provocateur don't do their maternity range anymore and yes I know I'm single and no one is going to see my bra for a looooong time but that's not the point, I cannot wear those huge non wired cotton granny monstrosities, I just can't! Plus they are all thin cotton and the girls hurt so much that I need padding to protect from anything rubbing them and the thought of nothing but a thin cotton barrier between them and the world is terrifying, frankly. And why are the middle bits all so high?? It's going to show if I wear anything low cut and given that this is the only time I am bigger than a B cup I intend on wearing nothing but low cut necklines and making the most of these bad boys before they shrink back to bee stings again! Wink

HRMumness · 30/03/2014 19:36

elle the worrying is neverending isn't it? I sometimes think about the worst that could happen and what I'd do, for some reason that makes me feel better about things.

alita DH has really excelled himself. My DD is having an absolute temper tantrum because she thinks it isn't bedtime. She only had a short nap today as we were out. Have been into settle her at least three times now but it's got to the point that I'm just making her more worked up when I try to give her a cuddle or if I say it's bedtime and go to walk out.

alita7 · 30/03/2014 20:36

Random that's Interesting that you say 'he' I do that too but then I think both of ours are on the left which indicates girls unless were in the 3 % although obviously it's hardly 100% accurate :p

RandomInternetStranger · 30/03/2014 20:38

Wow I just measured myself and at 9 weeks I've already gone from 32B-24-33 to 32D-30-36. Shock I think I have a whole litter in there! Shock Love the D cups though!

RandomInternetStranger · 30/03/2014 20:41

alita I am convinced this is a boy. It's so different to with DD! Total opposite! He even has a name (Jack). I'm going to get the shock of my life if it's a girl! Grin

utopian99 · 30/03/2014 21:40

random check out hot milk or amoralia for decent maternity underwear - I am exactly the same about maternity any underwear as you, I don't care if anyone will see it, I KNOW what I'm wearing and why build a good house on shoddy foundations?

Hope everyone has had a lovely day and hand holding for those with bleeds. Am exactly as nervous as with DS this time around, think we'll all be a lot happier in a few more weeks!

HRMumness · 30/03/2014 22:24

I ended up rocking and bouncing my DD to calm her down after I couldn't take her tantrums any longer. Calmed her down just like it used to when she was a teeny tiny 3kg baby even though she must weigh a good 12kgs I was thinking what have I let myself in for having another one, then she finally fell asleep cuddling her sheep and I was like another little person who makes me laugh and so unbelievably happy. Cue blubbing like a fool.

ElleOhElle · 30/03/2014 22:36

alita - have you found anything to take the taste away?? I'd lost that symptom for a couple of days and now it's back!!

RandomInternetStranger · 30/03/2014 23:07

HRM DD sat sideways on my lap today just after lunch and I automatically started rubbing her back as if burping her. She's 8 in a few weeks. Realised what I was doing and laughed at my stupidity but then realised that's what I'll be doing constantly in 7 months! Grin

RandomInternetStranger · 31/03/2014 01:43

I have been getting one weird symptom all the way through - every single night, without fail, I get a cold! Sniffing, sneezing, watery eyes, bunged up head, headachey, sore throat - every single night! Wake up fine but what is that about?? Annoying!

WinterLover · 31/03/2014 07:23

Morning ever. I gutted DSDs bedroom yesterday. Its not the easiest of rooms to get in as most of her stuff is under her cabin bed with a 2ft gap to access it (box room). Think I've overdone it, back, stomach and pelvis hurt. Work today but on the count down to easter holidays Grin

pinkgirlythoughts · 31/03/2014 07:42

Eurgh, feel horribly sick this morning. Can't bring myself to phone in to work as I haven't actually been sick, and have just eaten two massive bowls of cereal, so hopefully that'll settle things down a bit!

utopian99 · 31/03/2014 07:55

Anyone with existing DC around 1-2 finding the first trimester horrendous this time round? Last time was a bit grim but doable as I remember it. This time I feel sick all the time much as before but so tired this morning I can barely stand.

Catnap1 · 31/03/2014 07:55

Morning all. Ended up going to A&E at midnight due to heavy bleeding & clots, spent 4 hours there to be told that the wouldn't be able to do an ultrasound until my appointment at 11.30 today!! Was offered a bed if we wanted to stay but seemed pointless as the pain and bleeding had reduced. Just been to the loo and there are more clots. I'd be very surprised if the hospital tell me any different to what i thinks already happening Sad

BJZebra · 31/03/2014 08:05

Catnap - I'm sorry you're having to go through this. I Hope 11:30 shows good news

blamber · 31/03/2014 08:54

catnap, I'm so sorry, hope that your scan will be ok.
