Thank you blossom its horrible.
Currently sat in emergency dentists as I dont have one (my last dentist really messed my teeth up and I was petrified of going back)

And please tell me more on this skull theory hmmm

topmammy · 03/03/2014 13:39

Rockin I need to pee pretty much as soon as I get into bed, even if I've just been. Sometimes I think it's psychological so I force myself to go to sleep, then wake up in the night but can never be bothered to get up, so finally in the morning I am actually bursting it's almost painful. Doesn't help that my bathroom is downstairs at the back if the house either. I have pretty good bladder control...... For now Hmm

I didn't need to pee at all in the night in my first trimester but now that I'm in my second I need to a heck of a lot more. Whats going on there?! I will be sat on the loo permanently at this rate in the third trimester lol.

Congrats oxlady on your scan :)

Oxlady · 03/03/2014 14:03

Thanks Seven, White and Topmammy! I get up once in the night to go for pee even if I go just before bed. Has anybody suffered from sciatica during pregnancy? Never suffered before but really suffering today. Any tips on easing the pain as I can't take ibuprofen?

whiteblossom · 03/03/2014 14:09

thanks hippyjess Grin

thanks seven, that's a bargain too. I think I might have to give that a go!

Ive eaten an entire easter egg today opps Grin

Just as well Ive finally ordered myself some mat' jeans, yay!

cenadi · 03/03/2014 15:01

Just had my scan and I have one very wriggly baby - the sonographer couldn't get it into the right position to do the nuchal test at all. Have some pics but they are very grainy! Measured 12+5 so my due date was exactly spot on at 10 Sep.

Couldn't believe how gruff and unpersonable the sonographer was to me and DH though. She barely said two words to us the whole time we were in there unless it was to get me to move!

Lottiedoubtie · 03/03/2014 15:26

Yay more happy scan news Flowers

But sorry the sonographer was miserable.

2 more sleeps until my 12 week nuchal scan. Exciting!

rockin20s · 03/03/2014 15:31

i week today fro mine. HURRY UP!!!

HippyJess · 03/03/2014 15:36

Mine is on Thursday and I'm veering wildly between excited and terrified!

lucidlady · 03/03/2014 16:15

Congrats cenadi and oxlady!

whiteblossom · 03/03/2014 16:20

cenadi lovely news! I found my sonographer very non committal when I asked anything but otherwise alright.

hippyjess that was what I was like. I was awake at 2am the night before worrying/hoping/worrying/terrified etc. So I suspect its quite normal Smile

lots of luck to those with upcoming scans xx

beckworth · 03/03/2014 16:36

Another good scan here - although like Cenadi, a very fidgety baby combined with my tilted uterus meant that they couldn't do the nuchal fold. I have been told I can have the quadruple blood test at my next midwife appointment instead - anyone know anything about that and how much less accurate it is? I'm not fussed enough about having the test at all to risk a wildly inaccurate result that might unnecessarily worry me for rest of the pregnancy, iyswim.

isitme1 · 03/03/2014 16:48

Cenadi thats my ds1 birthday Grin

Im back from dentist
prev dentist fucked filling up and exposed my nerve and thats why ive been getting 1 sided pain in skull. Nevee thought anything of it! Shes cleaned it up and put some meds on and a temp filling if it plays up again she wants it out or root canal. She said best to wait but if it hurts come back. She was luurrvvlly. Currently in no pain and numbness is nealry gone!

Will check the link thank you x

whiteblossom · 03/03/2014 16:57

isitme glad your feeling a bit better and have a better dentist!

Ive just tried to order a maternity top from la redoute, I have a code for £15 off plus free delivery and of course the one item I want is not included in the offer!! There's no way Im paying full price for it! Angry

CordeliaScott · 03/03/2014 17:06

beckworth I am having the quad as well as like you the baby would not stay still and/or in position. I was told that the accuracy of the quad was about 76% compared to 85% for the combined test so not as great but not wildly inaccurate...

isitme1 you poor thing. I hope that you are better now.

isitme1 · 03/03/2014 17:09

Thank you both Grin with new filling
I feel sooo much more human now lol.
I went into new look too have a peek at their maternity collection but think I might just stick to maxi dresses once im bigger as I know not much else will fit me.
Like I said before nearly 9lb baby+water+placenta as big maybe bigger than baby= 1 hell of a bump! Doesn't make it easy when you have a big arse too Blush

isitme1 · 03/03/2014 17:11

Ooo I remember what I was going to add!
Dorothy perkins have a maternity section and its mamalicious clothing at sale prices! There's a lovely blue dress on there that im going to go for!

rockin20s · 03/03/2014 17:13

isitme glad your feeling better, i should probably get a check up at the dentist too.....next week

gunwalloe · 03/03/2014 17:33

Thank you for the well wishes iatesomeofthepies
I went for my harmony test today my dates have been pushed back a week so I've got to go back.
I hadn't read before about hospitals not doing the nuchal if the baby's not cooperating Its terrible not to try again and just leave you hanging
Isitme1 glad your teeth were sorted out I'm another one in agony I'm going tomorrow I think it will need pulling out
