I went shopping for mat clothes today as well. All I wanted was a pair of under bump skinny jeans. My bump just isn't big enough to hold up over bump ones yet. Mothercare ones were weird shapes or jeggings and next ones were baggy. I found some really nice ones in mamas and papas in the end- on sale for £28. They are a really nice fit and look like proper skinnies.
I also got the bounty mum-to-be pack so feeling all official todayGrin

lucidlady · 01/03/2014 18:44

I had mine at the FMC too! They are great. I really enjoyed getting the two scans at 10 and 12 weeks, was amazing to see the difference in bean.

I had my results on Monday just gone - I'm 37 and had a 1 in 10,000 result which is frankly fab, so I am definitely starting to relax a bit now Grin

When do you go for yours?

marie1w · 01/03/2014 18:50

Fairy I got a brill pair of under bump skinny jeans from new look. Reversible 2...handy as wearing them alot!

gunwalloe · 01/03/2014 18:50

Congrats lucidlady :) Do they tell you what the nuchal results would have been?

Ive got myn Monday my dates from lmp make me 10 plus 2 so im a little worried they may be out and im not 10 weeks

lucidlady · 01/03/2014 18:53

Yes so they do the NT test too - take all the measurements for that etc. I got my NHS results yesterday and they gave me 1 in 6800, so quite a difference!

Are you going to find out gender?

lucidlady · 01/03/2014 18:53

I was worried about dates too - they dated me at bang on 10 weeks...whew!

Laura2611 · 01/03/2014 18:56

Hi everyone just checking in. 14 wks now feeling much better through the day ( even managed to stop anti sickness meds) but still pretty sickly at evenings/ nights. I'm hoping it will stop soon cos it's a pain getting the kids tea and bed times done! It's strange because with my 2 boys I was just sick mornings, so I'm wondering if this may be a girl? Anyone else felt like this? X

gunwalloe · 01/03/2014 18:57

Yes I will find out I want to be prepared

Did you make yourself 10 weeks at the time?

duzzlightyearsmum · 01/03/2014 19:00

Just marking my place as a 2nd trimester-er Hmm

Feeling much better now, morning sickness gone and now have seen bean can relax! Now just to shake off my cough and convince DS that half five is not morning time!!!!

Hope everyone is starting to feel better as we move in to 2nd trimester and that all the scans go wonderfully xxx

gunwalloe · 01/03/2014 19:01

Hi Laura sorry your having a tough time I don't get morning sickness so can't compare between my pregnancys

Laura2611 · 01/03/2014 19:08

Thanks gunwalloe I can't complain really loads better than I was! How many dc do you have? Have you told them yet?

gunwalloe · 01/03/2014 19:12

I have 4 my two oldest know but I haven't told the younger two as I would hate to have to explain to them if something went wrong

cookielove · 01/03/2014 20:10

Hello checking in, I feel so sad today, dh has gone away and I miss him. :(

TwosaCrowd · 01/03/2014 20:17

marking place

isitme1 · 01/03/2014 20:19

Marking place.
We've been out to nandos as it's my birthday today.
It was AMAZING!

topmammy · 01/03/2014 21:10

I have never been to nandos isitme! May have to try it.

All food or mention of food gets my attention at the mo - this baby is sure hungry!

Been looking on Asos at maternity clothes and they have loads of nice looking things, don't know what to choose or what I actually need tbh! All the pregnant models do wear size 8 on the photos though so they make everything look good haha.

Lime19 · 01/03/2014 21:13

Thanks for new thread. Had my scan. Due date now 8 sept :) everything seemed good although my nt was 3mm which I think is on the high side. We shall see next week when the results are in. scared!

topmammy · 01/03/2014 21:21

My nt measurement was 2.1mm so yours isn't really that much more Lime My midwife said usually anything from 4mm is what they particularly look out for.

LH1981 · 01/03/2014 21:22

Laura, I'm the same. Two boys and barely any ms, now third time around, sick as a dog and worse in the evenings. Be interesting to see!

waffles1990 · 01/03/2014 21:33

Checking in, 13 weeks tomorrow so I'll be an official 2nd trimestererer!! Sorry been away for a while, lovely to see all the positive scan news.

Nausea is, I daresay, improving!! Still have the wonderful morning routine of throwing up with my first wee (trusty sick bowl in front of me) but mostly now as long as I eat regularly, I'm doing quite well! However Tonight I shunned my usual Saturday night curry for 2 bananas and a glass of chocolate milk. Gone right off heavy foods!

Today I even managed 'normal person things' without feeling like id been hit with a sledgehammer after! I hoovered and cleaned my car! So impressed with myself. Think the lovely sunshine and it being the start of March/Spring has something to do with it!

I heard the baby's heartbeat for the first time yesterday :) bought the angel sounds personal Doppler (£20 job from ebay) I think it's brill. Just as decent as the ones I've used at work. Found baby straightaway and could even hear it moving around (lots of thumps and swooshing) love it!

Lime19 · 01/03/2014 21:33

Thanks topmammy. Fingers crossed!

lucidlady · 01/03/2014 21:53

gunwalloe I thought I'd be 10+1 at the time I booked it, then I had an emergency scan the week before that dated me 8 something so I was in a bit of a tizz!! They measured me at bang on 10 on the day though so not sure if there was a bit of over measurement going on!

I've just been watching "What to expect when you're expecting" - v funny. Bit like this thread, with all the different experiences we seem to be having!

TheOnlySeven · 01/03/2014 22:20

Hope you've had a lovely birthday isitme.

cookie why has DH gone away and when is he coming home?

I was only sick a few times with DS and DD1, but constantly sick right until the end with DD2. I guess each pregnancy is different.

Wow gun number 5! This is DC4 for me, and last. How old are your others?

waffles do you mind me asking a question? My 3 were all premature 35 weekers, no identifiable cause other than PE with the first one. First two were fine but after DD2 being resuscitated in the corrider outside the delivery room and being in SCBU I really don't want another prem baby. Is there anything at all I can do to limit my chances?
