12 weeks today.

Scan is on thursday.

It's been a really long wait and DP is all confident and happy and looking forward to it but I feel so anxious and keep wanting to cry. Sickness is up and down, at least it's not constant any more. I don't have any bump, I'm not bigger at all. I honestly don't know what I'm going to do if it's bad news.

isitme1 · 15/03/2014 08:52

Weebarin as your only just 12 weeks I wouldn't expect you to be bigger yet iirc the baby is in you pelvis area until 12 weeks so will be gradually coming up so in the next few weeks or so you will start to see/feel a bump. When im laid down theres no bump at all but when im stood theres is (bigger than when I was pg so some of it must be baby plus my extra pounds)
hope that makes you feel a lil better x

weebairn · 15/03/2014 09:02

Thanks love. I didn't show till quite late with my first either, around 20 weeks or something. I have plenty of symptoms, I've been sick and tired for months! But arrrgh the wait is so hard.

I keep trying to tell myself our grandmothers did all this without any scans!

isitme1 · 15/03/2014 10:09

I know! I dont know how they managed lol

Love that top gunwalloe.

I think mine would have to say "yes I'll have my hands full, no I don't want your opinion".

Lol my t-shirt would have to say "yes, it was planned". For 7 years I said never again (PND) So its quite a shock for people.

Also "yes, I did fall pregnant quickly and if you must know, it took just 4 days"

some people can very personal!!

whiteblossom · 15/03/2014 14:38

gun you can have one more, look at isitme's post pic! Grin

gunwalloe · 15/03/2014 14:43

whiteblossom don't tempt me lol

cookielove · 15/03/2014 15:26

isitme we have a siz seater push chair at the nursery I work in. Well actually it's in my room! Very heavy!!

Lottiedoubtie · 15/03/2014 16:09

When will this sickness end? I had one precious morning of feeling normal yesterday and then it was back, worse than it's been in weeks. I feel like I've only just got my head back out the loo Sad

Sicky88 · 15/03/2014 20:22

Does anyone have any experience with the uppababy vista. I saw it today in John Lewis and have kinda fallen in love with it.

whiteblossom · 15/03/2014 20:31

SICKY the reviews are all very good, people seam to rave about it, this is top of my list at the mo, I had a quick demo at a baby show, my only bugbear is that is heavy. I want to look around first Smile which colour do you like?

lottie how many weeks are you now, hang in there my ms improved around week 13 xx

BexBoo12 · 15/03/2014 21:05

Sicky my best friend has the uppa baby vista and she absolutely loves it!

topmammy · 15/03/2014 21:16

What is an uppa baby vista? (My guess is a pram?) Gosh I am not very up on my baby product knowledge lol Every time I go to mothercare I am a but overwhelmed tbh!

Hope everyone is having a nice weekend :)

isitme1 · 15/03/2014 21:47

Cookie I didn't know they existed!

My recommendation for a pram is quinny buzz! Mine is nearly 4 years old and has a few scratches but absolutely brilliant. My mum has a stokke and she prefers the quinny!

Lottiedoubtie · 15/03/2014 23:05

I'm 14 weeks, been admitted to hospital now Sad

KatharineClover · 15/03/2014 23:30

Oh no lottie, are you dehydrated? I hope they can treat you quickly and have you feeling better and less sick very soon x

Fairypants · 15/03/2014 23:30

Oh no lottie, is is hg? Sorry you're feeling so rubbish still. Lets hope the drs can do something to get you back to normal.

I've had a look at the vista and like it but think its second choice at the moment. I do prefer the bugaboo chameleon. Apparently they are updating it in the next month or so- changing some if the colours and changing the hood to be the same as the buffalo one.

DearDinah · 16/03/2014 08:27

I managed to get some bargains off the for sale pages on Facebook, I got an oyster pram (with two colour packs) 6 months old in great condition for £180, a free cot & a mamas & papas almost new changing table in white for £30! It seems early to get stuff but at those prices I couldn't let them go!
I bought that body pillow from Argos btw, kudos to whoever linked that on here!
Have a nice Sunday everyone xx

DearDinah · 16/03/2014 08:28

Sorry to hear you are not well lottie hope you are back on your feet very soon x

isitme1 · 16/03/2014 08:37

Ohh lottie I hope they can help you feel better.
Ive started with sickness again but only when im hungry. ..

dinah thats really good!! The oyster pram is prettt expensive new!

Im almost having paracetamol every day now for headaches even if its just the once. Will have to let them know when im back at the hospital. My 20 week scan is in exactly 1 months time! Very excited! Will be 20+6 weeks.

BexBoo12 · 16/03/2014 09:13

Is it terrible we've ordered our pram? Only because there was an offer on that meant we got £100 off the pram we wanted, free car seat and free ISO fix...we went for bugaboo buffalo

xxmissbrightsidexx · 16/03/2014 09:21

Dinah it was me, amazing isn't it. I love mine already lol xx
