Oooh more scans to today yay!!

I'm getting really nervous for mine tomorrow, by this time tomorrow we will know!

I forgot to mention I was trying on bridesmaid dresses at the weekend and the lady was asking about the baby, because I've been speaking to lots of medical professionals lately I just said 1st baby 2nd pregnancy. About 5 minutes later she asked us how our baby died?!? I was in

we told everyone about the pregnancy on Monday night after the scan. DH was up at MIL house yesterday for lunch and she asked if i was having a homebirth. apparently SIL noticed i joined a few groups on facebook and said it too her. We had decided not to say anything to the families. its non of there business and i didnt want to have to field questions for the next 6 months. DH fobbed her off at the time but was asking me how they could see these groups, they are closed groups but not secret so anyone can see the list of members. \mil is a very big gossip too so she will tell everyone!

if either the SIL or MIL bring it up with me they will be told were to go very quickly. my birth preferences is no ones business but me, DH and our care giver!!!

Well, very positive scan this morning, baby behaved nicely and we got lots of lovely clear shots. Downs results came in at 1 in 1500 so really pleased about that.

Finally, we can tell people the news!! x

Ladies can I ask you if you've left the country heavily pregnant? We did have a Florida holiday planned for this six week holidays but I will be 29-32 weeks would I be mad to go? Nothing had been booked luckily so I can get out of it.

I am getting so nervous about tomorrow, wish inwas at work it would be a good distraction!

Gunwalloe I'm going to Florida in about 2 weeks, so will be flying out at 15 weeks and returning at 17 weeks. You should be fine to go at 29 weeks although make sure you take good insurance and I think you might need a Drs letter saying you can fly if you are after 28 weeks. You might need to check with the individual airline though. :)

P.S. Was on the Walt Disney World website last night and the good news is about 4/5ths of the rides / attractions etc do not have any pregnancy restrictions on, if that was something you were thinking of doing.

kitkat I felt better when dh came home for his lunch, back to feeling all stressy again! I never realised how much he calmed me!

had our scan, it was amazing. due date of 17th september which makes me 13 weeks ish? am sure i heard sonographer mumble something about 'girl' when she was doing measurements etc, but not too clear on what it was. think we're going to have a 4d at about 16 weeks ish :) feel so happy atm, so surreal that theres a baby in there xx
hope other scans have gone well today xx

Yay for all the scans today. I've been trying to keep up, but not posting, I've got/had some nasty virus thing which has really taken it all out of me, a bit unfair just as I was starting to get a bit more energy!
Starting to panic about having to tell work now, my current mat leave ends in 2 weeks and I'm going back 16wks pregnant. I have to tell a colleague who is about to start ivf too, she didn't cope too well with my last pregnancy and I'm not sure how she's going to react- we are normally pretty good friends, but I know this is going to be a real shock, any advice ladies?

downstairs I cant wait to find out to, when I get my harmony test result I will find out the sex it feels weird that I will know at 12 weeks

I still don't have a date. I'm due early September so thinking mid april should be when I have it? Tempted by an earlier private scan to find out the sex...

Dh doesn't mind if we find out, i have always wanted a surprise, but saying that when we lost the baby last year it gave me comfort knowing the baby had been a boy!

Do you have any inklings?? I'm getting boy vibes off my bump though old wives tales point to it being a girl...

Love all the scan pics? Can you only upload them when on a computer or does it work on a phone too?
gun were just looking at booking a weeks holiday as will be first time we've taken DS abroad and thought we probs won't get another time for a while! And I will be about 22 weeks then,we were originally gonna go away in June for our first anniversary but I would just be 28 weeks then and you have to get a drs note by then, but I think most airlines are fine with you flying!
missbrightside our 20 week scan is on 24th April really want it to hurry up as desperate to know! If we had the money I would book a private one in, but just gotta be patient! I'm so sure were having another DS though!

My next scan isn't until 2nd may, for some reason she said it was to be done at 21 weeks- I feel cheated!!

Glad all the scans went well today, ours was also good. Baby was very active but in good position so could see very clearly. They confirmed my dd as 15th sept which is the same date my private scan gave. My next scan is the 30th April which seems very soon to me after the long wait for this one.
We had a seminar at work today so it was the ideal time to 'come out' to work- one cheeky guy asked if this was a bit of a surprise pregnancy I expected people to think that given our dd's are 15 and 11 but I didn't think anyone would actually ask!
