Hi all, I have my BFP and due 30th October. It's my third baby and was 2 weeks late with the last two so bound to be November.

Anybody else for November yet? I know it's very very early :)

Haha! If it's just for the bargain ladies it's totally reasonable just keep telling yourself that! Grin

The discharge has pretty much totally gone today - hurrah! Going to do a CB Digi tomorrow and see how far along it reckons. My cycle was totally off from usual, from when I OVed it should have been a 23 dayer! But if I go my my normal cycle then AF isn't due til Mon, so I still have that weird feeling that I haven't actually even missed a period yet!! Makes me freak out about Chem pregnancy... but seeing as I got a faint BFP 4 days ago, and a strong BFP yesterday I think I'm ok for now...

I am also flipping freezing! DH is unimpressed by cold feet in bed!! Grin
Other than that, no symptoms, boobs aren't too bad, no nausea. But then my last pregnancy I didn't get sick til 8 weeks - I thought id got away with it!

I'm glad maybe that's not quite the right word! that there's a few of us on here that have had some issues - it allows for a heightened level of crazy Grin

Random Grin at warming yourself up with a hairdryer. I loved my doppler last time. Hoping it still works after all this time in a box in my wardrobe.

I couldn't help browsing mat stuff earlier this week. Found the jeans I'm going to buy here, and I LOVE this Orla Kiely for People Tree smock dress. I know it's probably silly to spend real money on stuff for only a few months, but I did love being pregnant last time, and since this will definitely be the last one I want to dress up and enjoy it!

On the subject of symptoms, my boobs are much less sore today, so I did one of those slightly bonkers things and tested with another Clear Blue digi and was relieved to see the weeks had gone up from 1-2 last Sunday to 2-3 today. Neurotic much. (And there's another in the pack, and I expect I'll end up doing it again next week Blush) I don't really get sick or much in the way of symptoms so it's the only thing I have to rely on - I don't want to be sick, obvs, but symptoms are reassuring!

Yeah I'm trying not to think about my past fertility history. It took me 5 years to get DD, was told I'd never have any. One ovary is dead as a doorknob doing nothing, the other only makes cysts, both tubes dilated, one collapsed in on itself and I'm rhesus negative which doesn't help. I lost 4 after DD all between 5 and 10 weeks so for the next month I'm being really REALLY careful. This one, however, took one attempt on the first month trying and it's happened! Slightly freaked out and wondering wtf is going on but trying not to question it, just go with it & accept it's my turn to have an easy run with ttc. Smile However it may now stop me taking chances thinking it won't happen anyway because clearly for some reason it now can!!! Grin

booksshoescats · 28/02/2014 16:22

Wow, Random, you are one brave and persistent lady! Fingers massively crossed for you. The human body is a weird and wonderful thing!

MammySam · 28/02/2014 19:55

Hey everyone!
How funny a few of you have posted about being cold, I've been absolutely FREEZING all week!
So had my GP appointment today, he reckons I am about 6 wks, not sure how he worked that out when I thought I was just 5 wks today! I'll take it though! Free week! ;)
Had a few pains today so was glad I had my appt, as that's how it all started las September before MC in October.
Anyway, he had a press of my tummy and said nothing felt untoward, to take some paracetamol to take the pan away or if it got really bad to go to a&e! (In case it's ectopic) but other that that his advice was to wait and see as its a 'natural process'!!!!
Anyway he did take my paranoia concerns seriously and has put me down for an early scan as well as the dating scan and I'm waiting for the midwife to phone next week to book me in for my first appt.
Just got everything crossed these pains are bad wind or something! Grin
X

Nessalina · 28/02/2014 22:21

That sounds very positive Sam! GPs can be miserable buggers, so glad to hear you've got a good one!
Where did he magic an extra week from though? That's cheating!! Grin

MammySam · 28/02/2014 22:46

I'm not sure really?! He was looking at his calendar on his pc when he asked how far I thought I was, I said the Internet (nhs direct!) says 5 wks and he said, no 5-6 wks, more like 6! I'll take it! Hehe!

Had a hot water bottle on all evening and the pains and crampy ness has settled a bit so hopefully it's all normal stretching and moving around. I'm not even certain the pain. Had before was even linked to my MMC so I shall try to not worry too much and keep fingers crossed for the early scan appt to come through super quick! Be nice to have it at 7 wks since I'm already apparently 6! Hehe! ;)

Nessalina · 28/02/2014 22:54

Last time I got some killer womble pains in the first couple of weeks, especially if I stood up too fast or bent over. When I read up they were ligament stretching pains which usually you don't get til T2, but I was early with 'em. Freaked me out something proper that it was MC.

I caved and did another pee stick! All out of FRER so using up my ICs Smile I figure tracking the line darkness will help me worry less Confused

MammySam · 28/02/2014 23:12

Sounds like a plan! Glad it's cmng up stronger for you!

Have to admint, I did first test last Friday (21st) with a faint BfP, than again Saturday then was patient until Wednesday! Wednesdays line came up loads stronger and quickly too so Figured it was a good sign! Smile

RandomInternetStranger · 28/02/2014 23:48

I wasn't expecting it to happen this quickly and bulk bought a load of cheapy Internet opks and hpts so have taken 10 ICs and one Boots digital I had lying around. Grin

RandomInternetStranger · 01/03/2014 00:25

Anyone else having to sleep in their bra lately? My boobs are so sore I can't even bare the bedsheets or night clothes on me (not that I usually wear any but I'm so damn cold lately!) and even baths or showers and drying after hurt!

Nessalina · 01/03/2014 06:57

My boobs have been ok so far luckily!
I'm just enjoying my new pregnancy routine - not being able to go a straight 8hrs without a pee. Been woken up on the dot of six every day this week Shock It's Saturday FFS!!

Nessalina · 01/03/2014 06:58

Hen night tonite. Not drinking... How am I gonna get away with this??

BatCave · 01/03/2014 09:03

May I join you? BFP yesterday bit of a shock! This'll be no 3, I have DD 4 in June and DS 17 months. EDD 2/11/14!!

Greenstone · 01/03/2014 11:20

Welcome Batcave and congrats! How are you feeling about no.3?

Nessalina I've no idea! Can you try the old fill a glass about a third and make it seem like you're drinking wine? Or else just brazen it out and say you're driving. I guess there's every chance somebody else at the hen might be not drinking too?

Tired today. Dd has a cough and has been waking at night as a result.

I'm half hoping an aversion to coffee/wine sets in soon! I still want both and had coffee this morning. I'll have to wean myself off my caffeine habit bit by bit...

RandomInternetStranger · 01/03/2014 11:34

Use the old antibiotics excuse.

LittleMissSunshine33 · 01/03/2014 12:11

Hi all Got my BFP today!! As we have decided not to tell family and friends yet I have come on here instead! Feels very surreal and don't know if I believe the sticks yet I need someone to say YES YOU ARE!

Looks like I will have a due date of 7th Novemeber 2014! OMG! Has it sunk in for any of you yet??

Giraffeski · 01/03/2014 12:39

Hi, can I join? BFP today on an IC, AF not due till Tues so was chancing it really, wasn't expecting to see the line!
This is DC 3, I have 10year old and 14 month old DDs.
Cycle 3 of trying so very pleased!
By my LMP I will be due 11th November.

BatCave · 01/03/2014 13:19

Thank you Greenstone, I feel a bit surreal, we were not TTC and I have an interview for training for my dream job next month so I'm going to have to knock that on the head I think.

But I'm happy nonetheless. We did want more children so it's obviously meant to be now. Grin

I had no symptoms till lunchtime and I suddenly feel that 'yucky- almost-sick-but-not-quite' feeling.

Nesselina - lime and lemonade with ice and a straw, pretend there's vodka in it Wink if you go for the antibiotics say you're on metronidazole, that's one you most certainly can't take with alcohol!

Tigsy · 01/03/2014 13:32

Hi lovely pregnant ladies. Can I tentatively join? Like Giraffeski, AF wasn't due until tuesday but got a faint BFP on a FRER yesterday. Retested today with another FRER and got a darker line, so then confirmed with a clear blue digi which says '1-2 weeks pregnant'! Super happy but worried too as it's so early (had a mc 4 years ago so worried about something bad happening again). Still feels so surreal. According to the NHS due date calculator, my due date would be November 13th!
