Hi all, I have my BFP and due 30th October. It's my third baby and was 2 weeks late with the last two so bound to be November.

Anybody else for November yet? I know it's very very early :)

Hey Barmy So nice to see another familiar name. Sorry to hear you're not feeling great - my sickness hasn't properly kicked in yet but I'm only exactly 4 weeks today. Bleeding is so very worrying and you can never really relax and enjoy the pregnancy!! Here's hoping we all get healthy sticky beans.

Docpeppa so very sorry about your loss Thanks

Nessalina · 20/03/2014 23:30

Rotten news docpeppa Sad All the best xxx

Nessalina · 20/03/2014 23:32

If people can be bothered, it's quite useful to put your dates under each post so we all know where we're all up to Grin

Welcome by the way maeanne! Smile

MrsY87 · 20/03/2014 23:59

Hello ladies! can I join? Got my BFP just about two weeks ago still quite can't believe it particularly as it was our first cycle...keep POAS to check it really did say pregnant! Am 6 + 3 and all being well due on 10 nov I think.

Will be our first so super excited but nervous at the same time! Symptoms haven't been too bad so far but have started feeling quite nauseous over the past couple of days...quite happy to feel a bit nauseous makes it all seem a bit more real!

MabelMay · 21/03/2014 00:00

Gosh this thread has moved on since I last posted so I'm sorry for not name-checking everyone and if I miss out welcomes etc.

First of all docpeppa I'm so sorry to hear about your ectopic. What a blow. Allow yourself to grieve and hope you are back on the pregnancy boards before too long. Life is so unfair.

barmy, hopeful and just I hope you are holding up okay with the bleeding worries and hope you all get positive news from your scans. Fingers crossed for all of you.

To all those feeling nauseous - oh I'm jealous! I've had a fairly symptom-free day today and I just want to feel really pregnant and ill again to stop me worrying. Ridiculous I know. I do become quite gaseous and belchy after eating anything so I console myself with that being a 'kind-of' symptom. Hoping tomorrow is more of a nauseous one.

Welcome to all the newbies!

Nessalina, good idea!

6+5 weeks.

RandomInternetStranger · 21/03/2014 02:04

barmybunting · 21/03/2014 06:24

docpeppa I'm so sorry. That is devastating. I hope you have some at home with you to look after you in the coming weeks. Thanks

barmybunting · 21/03/2014 06:29

Thankfully no more sign of that stupid bleeding this morning! I'll be glad to get the scan next Thurs to find out what's going on.

I've woken up this morning to discover I've lost my voice. Teaching is going to be fun today Smile . Thankfully I have planning time all afternoon so I'm only teaching until 12.20.

Bex thanks, I'll see how I get on with windows open. It's poured on the way to work for the last two days so hopefully not today.
sleeping it's a long old wait until the 12 weeks scan, isn't it? Will you get early scans given your previous pregnancies? I hope you will for some reassurance.

Hope everyone has a good Friday!

barmybunting · 21/03/2014 06:43

Sorry, I am back again. I will go away after this one! I meant to add this into my last message and got muddled!

Bex Not long now until Monday Smile . Nervous excitement over here for you too!

alita7 · 21/03/2014 06:47

alita7 · 21/03/2014 07:00

Urgh finding it hard knowing I'm going to feel this sick for possibly 5 more weeks!!!!!

Barmy try not to tell us when the spotting stops only when it's there, mine would come back if I said it had stopped :p yours sounds like what I had and it was nothing :)

Nesselina I'm either 7 or 7+1 so will go with 7+1 as it's an extra day :p

ladydolly · 21/03/2014 07:28

Nessalina · 21/03/2014 07:42

I'm back in work today after two days off sick, still feeling pretty crappy to be honest! Still very little in the way of symptoms except for a very confused digestive system! Shock I swear I'm alternating between bunged up and free flowing every other day!

Tigsy · 21/03/2014 08:34

Barmy the sickness is definitely made worse by travelling for me. Thought I was going to have to get DH to pull over on the road yesterday.

Good luck to those with bleeding- this is such an anxiety-provoking time without the added stress of that.

DocPeppa sorry to hear your awful news. Take good care of yourself and hope you are back on the boards soon with better news

Tigsy · 21/03/2014 08:39

I can't believe I wished the nausea on myself- it's horrendous. Every morning I feel like I'm waking up with a hangover!

ladydolly · 21/03/2014 08:42

I got myself some of those travel sickness bands, I told DP that I love them more than him this morning, I actually felt so non sick that I thought something was wrong but breasts still sore and temp still up so must be ok!

stowsettler · 21/03/2014 08:48

docpeppa how awful for you, devastated is exactly how you must feel. Take lots of care of yourself, rest lots and take things slowly. Thanks

Good luck to the ladies having early scans this week. My fingers are crossed for you.

I'm not feeling in the slightest bit pg. With DD I had low-level nausea pretty much from conception to around 14 weeks. I also wanted to eat THE WORLD and was completely knackered. Not feeling like that at all. Hope it's not a bad sign.

MrsY87 · 21/03/2014 09:25

So much for my slight nausea...woke up in the middle of the night retching.

Tigsy- agree about feeling like I've got a bad hangover, I feel awful this morning! I did go out last night (for a few sparkling waters) though so at least it's a good excuse to use on my coworkers!

Whenwillwe3meetagain · 21/03/2014 09:58

Morning everyone!
I have just been to the EPU to get a dating scan as I have PCOS and no idea when I ovulated. Turns out I am 5w 2d so I'm due 19 November.
I am thrilled as after being diagnosed with PCOS in October I was concerned it would take a long time to get upduffed so I feel very lucky that I have got this far.
I am going to continue to take metformin until the end of the 1st trimester. I also have a slightly higher dose of folic acid to take due to my BMI of 30.
I am expecting to have a big baby as my family are very tall and my husband was almost 11lbs - this is one time I am happy to have child bearing hips.
Looking forward to getting to know you all over the next few weeks and fingers crossed everything goes well for all of us.
ps I live in SW London and am 33 and this is first pregnancy

RandomInternetStranger · 21/03/2014 10:19

Hi all!

Supposed to be driving to Wales tonight after DD's netball match this afternoon with the cat. That's going
to be fun!!! Friday night M6, with how often I have to eat or wee or want to sleep lately... that journey can be anywhere from 4 hours to 8. Not looking forward to it! Think I will take loads of food and drink and a blanket to put round me as I know at some point I'll be squatting by the dose of the M6! Hmm

Be nice to get away for a bit though. Smile

Greenstone · 21/03/2014 10:39

docpeppa, so sorry, what a traumatic experience that must have been. Glad that you were able to get the reassurance that it shouldn't affect things in future. I hope you received kind care for the procedure and can spend a few days under the duvet Flowers

Hopeful keeping my fingers crossed for you and the others having scans.

Winter - you really deserve a break, glad you feel like eating again! You must be wasting away at this stage.

Congrats and welcome whenwill, that's exciting news for you.

I went out for dinner with family last night and nearly retched after my first bite of my main course. Shame. Just tasted horrible and I had to force myself to eat a few bites. Apart from that I still haven't been sick and nausea just comes now and then in waves. Boobs still sore which I don't remember from last time! The crazy pregnancy dreams are still there though.

My stats: I'm Greenstone, age 30, living in Ireland, and this is my second pregnancy. 7 weeks today...

Greenstone · 21/03/2014 10:43

Meant to say that choosing donor characteristics must have been a fascinating and slightly odd experience, posy and random! were there many arguments heated discussions posy with your other half?

Tired today as was up lots in the night with poor DD who couldn't breathe because of a blocked nose Brew
