Hi all, I have my BFP and due 30th October. It's my third baby and was 2 weeks late with the last two so bound to be November.

Anybody else for November yet? I know it's very very early :)

OP posts:

WinterLover · 25/02/2014 06:45

KittyVonCatsington · 25/02/2014 21:01

Go out and buy First Response, Winter-you may get better luck on one as sensitive as that. and let us know how you get on Smile

MammySam · 25/02/2014 21:23

Oh dear winterlover hope you get an answer to what's going on soon :(
Xx

RandomInternetStranger · 25/02/2014 21:27

Went to my GP this afternoon and she's referred me to the midwife in 2 weeks. That's forever away! Want to be able to start getting excited about this! Grin

Nessalina · 25/02/2014 23:01

Hi there ladies, mind if I join you?
It's very very early days but I need some folks to worry with!!! Confused
Tested today 11dpo and got a line on a FRER!
No DCs yet, thought not first pregnancy. I was pregnant last year, but it turned out that our baby had a chromosomal abnormality with a bad prognosis, so we took the awful decision to terminate, and she was born at 16 weeks Sad It was the right thing, but pretty damn horrible, so me & DH decided to pick our selves up and give it another go.
And here we are! I was elated for about ten mins before the fear set in, lol Confused I've been having faint brown discharge off & on the last three days which fx is just implantation...
Sorry to hear things are a bit stressed with you Winter, but don't worry yet, different tests have different strengths and you can get variation in the same brand even, so wait a day and go again.
Clearblue digi is evil, they want to be all reassuring with the readout, but they're not very good when used early, so can have the opposite effect!

WinterLover · 26/02/2014 05:45

There's definitely a second line there today Grin

Best tell DP at some point now lol now how do I tell him...

WinterLover · 26/02/2014 05:47

ness that must had been a horrible situation to be in.

I got brown discharge on 11dpo

Nessalina · 26/02/2014 07:48

Great news Winter! Smile
I just casually threw the news to my DH at dinner... "So, in other news, I'm pregnant..." Grin His jaw hit the floor, it was hilarious!

WinterLover · 26/02/2014 08:41

I said 'how do you fancy being a family of 4 at xmas Grin (or 5 including DSD)'

he was very happyGrin

RandomInternetStranger · 26/02/2014 12:08

I don't have a DP to tell! Grin

I'm telling the rest of the world in a few weeks when things are a little safer and more established by taking a photo of my black Converse All Star Ox's and I have bought an identical pair for DD and some tiny baby bootie ones for new LO, lined up on some beautiful old steps near me, with little slate hearts next to them with 1977, 2006 and 2014 on them and sending that round. Have also got an "I'm going to be a big sister" t-shirt for DD so will give it to her with the new trainers, photo and scan pic when I get to 12 weeks. Smile

booksshoescats · 26/02/2014 13:55

Hi - may I join you? I wasn't going to, as I know how fast these threads go and I'm not very good at keeping up, but RandomInternetStranger 's post just made me well up hormonally, so I thought it would be nice to have some hands to hold! Tested on what I think was CD31/32 and got BFN, then on day 34/35 and BFP, to my utter shock! Already have 5yo DD and am 41.

This month was very weird. Usually have 26-28 day cycle, but had a feeling I ovulated really late this month (remember noticing at the time). DTD on day 20/21, so imagine my surprise! And was only time this month, so know that's when we conceived. Seems so unbelievable given we've been sort of trying on and off for years, and nothing.

Terrified as had mmc before DD at 11 weeks, but fingers crossed this time... As my cycle is clearly a bit all over the place I'm not sure if I belong here or October really, but as this is a newer thread it seemed easier Smile.

Nessalina · 26/02/2014 20:57

Hey! Good to meet you books Smile
Sounds like we have similar interests from your user name Grin
Love love love that idea Random, brilliant!

Thanks Thistle! Grin
I wonder where all the other November folk are, I thought this thread would be getting quite busy by now, but I do like it small & easy to keep up with Smile

Thought I might as well put our stats together! (forgive me if I've missed/got wrong any details:

Squeakybeaky DC3 due 30th Oct
MammySam DC2 due 31st Oct
KittyVonCatsington DC1 due 1st Nov
RandomInternetStranger DC2 due 1st Nov
Canweseethebunnies DC2 due early Nov
booksshoescats DC2 due early Nov
WinterLover DC2 due 4th Nov
Nessalina DC1 due 10th Nov

RandomInternetStranger · 27/02/2014 01:54

Well obviously November babies are a tres exclusive club! Wink

So they'll be Scorpios born in the year of the horse. Anyone know what that means?? Grin

I seem to have had an early nesting frenzy going on - I hope it continues - my house has never looked so good! Grin I mean furniture was pulled out and cleaned under when it usually has crap shoved under to hide! Grin I'm liking this weird pg symptom!

Other than that it's the same cramps, hunger, boobs are a bit tingly and occasional slight nausea. I've not had the borderline narcolepsy I had with DD, the opposite in fact - I have more energy & am sleeping less. I like it though!

How's everyone else feeling? Smile

WinterLover · 27/02/2014 05:14

im not too bad. Very tired, nausea and hungry. Been on a mission to sort things out. Yesterday was my office at work. Today will be our house (I finish work at 1pm).

Need to get an appointment at the docs, you cant refer to midwives without a blood pregnancy test here

Nessalina · 27/02/2014 06:14

I've been expecting to be tired, but actually been quite wide awake, so trying to take advantage! We actually had a big DIY fest on our house 6 months ago, so now we only have the lounge to go, and I've promised that I'll strip the wallpaper Confused
Just woken up and decided to do another preg test, and it's definitely darker than the other day! I may even risk a CB digi soon, just to see if they reckon I'm as far along as I think Smile

Nessalina · 27/02/2014 06:22

Just reading about Scorpios and the year of the Horse!
It looks like the horsey aspects should have a good influence on the scorpion aspects - sounds like our babies will be famous from the descriptions!! Grin

WinterLover · 27/02/2014 06:26

Wow you definately have energy then lol

Pleased its darker, I did another one today too Grin

DP seems happy too, although he did point out that I'll need a new car. The middle seat is only a lap belt, and we'd have three kids across the back. Really didnt need to be buying another car Sad although if we can get another one cheap we may keep mine so we are back to having 2 cars. Been a right pain since we went down to one vehicle

Nessalina · 27/02/2014 06:38

Yeah, I'm going to have to see my car - it's my pride & joy! 18yr old Mazda MX5 - it's a right rust bucket, but very zoomy and lovely in summer! What's most annoying is that we'll be selling it in Winter - worst time to sell a convertible Hmm Read an article that reckoned we'd get £2500 for it in summer and £2000 in winter! Confused

WinterLover · 27/02/2014 06:44

Could you not sell it in a few months? My mum had one and it was awsome to drive Grin

Im now starting to panic over money, I dont think im going to qualify for SMP or Maternity allowance. DP is unable to work at the min. Im trying not to get stressed but ARGH

Nessalina · 27/02/2014 07:43

How come Winter? I thought you had to qualify for one or the other?
I'm sure you'll be ok, if neither you or DP are in work you'll have to get some help Smile
I can't sell my car til I finish work coz there's no way to get there on public transport! Confused

WinterLover · 27/02/2014 08:33

I work agency term time only so my qualifying period is over the summer holidays. need to get some advice really

devoncreamtea · 27/02/2014 08:42

hi - lurking as due very end of oct and oct thread seem quite far ahead symptom wise etc - but just wanted to say to winterlover don't worry about qualifying period - you have a very long window and can pick weeks within that to make up your qualifying weeks - so you could pick your best paid weeks. Then it is averaged to give a per wk amount. If it seems a bit complicated and daft (it is) you can call the mat allowance number (on the forms or find online) - or chat to an advisor in job centre plus. If you for some reason don't qualify (I really think you would do though) then you will qualify to receive income support. Ex social worker here - so bit of an entitlements wizard!!

Caro14 · 27/02/2014 09:15

Hi can I join? I'm apparently due on Bonfire night! Following on from 2 MC's last year I'm desperately hoping this will be a good 9 months!!

Feel bloody awful - sooo tired and nauseous.
