Hi all, I have my BFP and due 30th October. It's my third baby and was 2 weeks late with the last two so bound to be November.

Anybody else for November yet? I know it's very very early :)

Trying to catch up with the thread, as I've been out of action for a couple of days since receiving the call at work on Monday lunchtime to say that OFSTED were coming! I have barely slept or eaten in two and a half days, which obviously can't be a good thing Confused

WinterLover · 19/03/2014 18:38

oh pink you have my sympathy. We had them 2 weeks ago!

barmybunting · 19/03/2014 18:40

Welcome to all of our new November additions Smile .

pink I feel for you! OFSTED are horrendous at any time, but when feeling rotten, they must be doubly so. I'm praying you don't get the call in the next two terms as I can barely manage the day with the kids at the moment, let alone everything else which needs to be done. I hope all goes well.

Caravela yes, the hunger is definately increasing. I also find as soon as I feel vaguely hungry, I feel sick. Despite this, I seem to have lost 2.5kgs in the last three weeks which is confusing me slightly!

Polkadotscarf · 19/03/2014 18:58

Oh no pink! We're due them any time as changed to academy a year a go...well done for surviving it, now eat and sleep!!

just1moretime · 19/03/2014 19:20

Hi everyone,
I'm unexpectedly pregnant with my 3rd and I'm not even sure if I should be in the October or November thread yet! I've asked for an early scan to find out. I think I'm still in a bit of shock. My DH had to take to bed when he found out! I have absolutely no symptoms, so I'm not sure I even believe it's viable, as I had terrible morning sickness with my first two. It hasn't really clicked that I'm actually pregnant- I have a million things to sort out, like Maternity allowance, as I'm self employed and I can't even look it up on the internet! I'm hoping posting on here will make it a bit more real somehow! I'm also going on holiday over Easter, when Ill still be in the first trimester. As the first two took an awful lot of planning, we didn't think about flying during the first trimester, so I don't even know if it's safe or not! I mentioned it to my doctor and she didn't say not to go or anything! Gaaah!

just1moretime · 19/03/2014 19:23

Pink I'm thinking of suing Ofsted for the £250000 it's going to cost to bring up this baby. I'm a teacher. They have just come to our school, ending 2 years of panic, running around, late nights and endless meetings, during which time I managed to forget to take my pill for about 4 days and hey presto!

Nessalina · 19/03/2014 19:45

Ha! Worth a go eh Just? Grin
Apologies Maths, you don't seem to be on my list - when are you due? First sprog?
I must be having a girl, I'm proper craving the sweet stuff! Grin

RandomInternetStranger · 19/03/2014 20:17

I'm definitely having a boy I'm sure. All my symptoms seem to tick all the old wives tales and this time round us very different to with DD. If anyone would like to make a bit of extra money between now and the birth buy shares in Veet wax strips - I'm sending their profits sky high lately!! Freak hairs all over the place, usual fine blond down is thicker, darker, longer and way more abundant, all growing way faster...

CraziesTogether · 19/03/2014 20:27

Aw Nicki ! I could cry on command, at anything! X

Sleepingstarsmommy · 19/03/2014 20:45

Evening ladies got my BFP this morning so mind if I join you??

Bit apprehensive as have had 3 first trimester miscarriages and my son was born sleeping last September but my consultant has assured I'll be closely monitored his time and will be regularly scanned from 7 weeks.

Only symptom so far has been waking up at 4am and feeling absolutely shattered.

Catnap1 · 19/03/2014 20:56

Can I join please? I'm due 8th November, I'm a first timer Smile
Will be so nice being able to talk to others going through the same stuff. So difficult not telling anyone! Roll on my 12 week scan....25th April!

Nessalina · 19/03/2014 21:04

Hey newbies! Smile
Sounds like you've had a tough time Sleeping Sad You won't find yourself alone on this thread, there's a good few of us with battle scars.

I've been thinking that we should have a name for ourselves for thread 2, but the best I can come up with is Nervous Novemberites! Grin surely someone else can do better!!

MabelMay · 19/03/2014 21:05

Catnap, sleepingstars, just - welcome and congratulations!

just - flying in first trimester is absolutely fine and safe. I did it with my first two. So enjoy your easter holiday!

sleepingstars - so very sorry to hear about your previous losses. Early pregnancy is such an anxious time - but with a history of MC it's even more worrisome. I had two MCs last year so have been feeling pretty wary this time around, although trying my best to enjoy the fact I'm PG. Good luck to you - great that you're being monitored closely and sending you healthy baby wishes.

catnap am also due 8th November. Yes, roll on 12 weeks - the time really drags in early pregnancy.

Everyone else - hi - hope those feeling sick are at least enjoying the fact that they have strong symptoms! Having felt sick most of yesterday, today I feel fine, other than belching quite a lot. Blush. Quite hoping sick feelings return - purely for reassurance.

hope all are well and babies thriving!

alita7 · 19/03/2014 21:07

Welcome guys fingers crossed this is your time sleeping :)
Nesselina we certainly have been nervous so far :p

Annarose2014 · 19/03/2014 21:26

Gosh there's loads of us!

Today was a crap day, symptoms-wise. I had nausea which didn't even abate with food so was working with queasiness all day.

I slept crap last night, was dozing off and on with freaky dreams and as soon as my alarm went I knew i'd be shattered for the day, and so I was. When I came home from work I had to go into the bed and I actually slept till 8pm!

And I was working with a really shrill woman whose voice would pierce metal and would make a blind panic about completing the most ordinary tasks. She was so flustered and so dramatic and so LOUD! She was actually making me want to faint.

To top it all off I was sitting in the staff room with the telly on, and there was those families of the Malaysian plane and they were all upset and I felt myself start to cry!!! I just stuffed chips in my gob and choked it back.

Mathssssteacher123 · 19/03/2014 21:35

Finally back from work! Oh I thought I'd already posted that must have been on another thread or I am losing the plot! Either is plausible! I am having second child already have ds2 who is 3 in July and due roughly 11th November. Thinking I'm looking a bit huge though?! Is anyone else looking bigger than they should?

BexBoo12 · 19/03/2014 21:59

Sleepingstarsmommy I remember you from the buses! I'm so pleased you've got your bfp and I'm sending very positive baby vibes over to you!! How are you xxx

Sleepingstarsmommy · 19/03/2014 22:13

Thanks for the warm welcome ladies.

Bex I'm ok thanks. Extremely nervous and keeping everything crossed including my legs as consultant has warned no dtd for me when pregnant How are you??

Annarose2014 · 19/03/2014 22:29

What, no nookie at all?? Can you get yourself a wee battery operated friend at least?!

Sleepingstarsmommy · 19/03/2014 23:12

Nope none at all. Even with batteries. It's going to be a long 9 months.

RandomInternetStranger · 20/03/2014 00:29

Aw you're not alone! I'm single so doubt I'll be getting any for at least 18 months-2 years by the time I next manage to get on a date!! But I do manage to keep duracell in business in the mean time at least. Wink

Polkadotscarf · 20/03/2014 06:20

Woke up to some spotting this morning and feeling a little nervous to say the least. have googled like mad to see it is a normal thing in many cases but think a call to the doctor is in order at least to put my mind at rest.

utopian99 · 20/03/2014 06:39

Freaky dreams here too, quite a few involving dh being unfeasibly horrible to me, which is odd as he's not like that in real life, and is dead pleased about impending dc2.
Only very very low level nausea so far but terrible hunger out of all proportion to the size of the Situation (it's working title) right now. Weighed myself yesterday and have put on 5lbs so need to force myself to hold off for a bit. Managed to keep weight gain to bang on chart limit last time so I'm buggered if it'll get me this time. Not much chance to hit the gym this time with dc1 in tow though!

WinterLover · 20/03/2014 06:46

maths snap my DS is 3 in july too Grin.

We're telling close family tomoro night. I kno they're gonna be so happy but my god im bricking it!
