Hi all, I have my BFP and due 30th October. It's my third baby and was 2 weeks late with the last two so bound to be November.

Anybody else for November yet? I know it's very very early :)

So sorry to hear Starfish, make sure you take some time to look after yourself and hopefully you will appear on another antenatal thread soon.

Hugs to you starfish, better luck soon I hope. Sad

alita7 · 14/03/2014 15:15

Found a good sickness cure (for today anyway) orange lucozade sport :)

Hopeful83 · 14/03/2014 16:43

So sorry to hear that Starfish. Big hugs to you

Misslaughalot · 14/03/2014 16:57

Alita that would have the opposite affect on me! I haven't been able to touch lucozade since I had to drink two huge cups of it for the gestational diabetes test with DD...

daisydalrymple · 14/03/2014 17:20

Hi all, can't believe how quickly this thread has moved, i'm not very good at being on regularly but have read through since my last post and just about caught up. Sorry for all those going through hard times xxx

I spend time with my dad in the day time whilst DCs are in school (he has alzheimer's), and work 4 eves a week so don't get an awful lot of internet time, but i'll do my best to keep up! Still symptom free here, but i have 2-3 weeks yet for the nausea to kick in. I'll pop into the surgery next week and book my midwife apt (they're happy to book in at 7-8 wks).

We're in the middle of decorating DS's bedroom before starting on DD's. However they have chose very definite girl/boy colours so we may have to re-do them in a year or two! -DS has the bigger room, so that's the room for sharing. He's had very bright colours so it will be quite a job of lots of coats to paint over if we have another girl and the girls share it.

Off to work in 45 mins so have a good weekend incase i don't get back on.

caravela · 14/03/2014 17:38

Sorry to hear that Starfish. Thinking of you.

Sazhoopz · 14/03/2014 17:38

Less than 1 week into knowing about the pregnancy and i'm already exhausted! Collapsed on the sofa watching tv whilst ds is on the iPad (feeling like a bad mum)

Does anyone have any times for coping with a toddler whilst pg?

Sazhoopz · 14/03/2014 17:39

Tips not times!

pinkgirlythoughts · 14/03/2014 17:46

Sorry to hear that Starfish

RecklessLadybird · 14/03/2014 17:53

Hi, I'm due 9th Nov with my first! So excited and happy!! A bit worried too.. Confused Smile

Tigsy · 14/03/2014 18:05

Hi RecklessLadybird Congratulations and welcome!

BJZebra · 14/03/2014 18:26

Hi, I've not posted for a while but all seems normal with pg so far. I seem to be having a little food cravings but not sure if this is just me being piggy and taking advantage of the situation.
Things have been stressful with DP and my house sale - a fair bit of crying in the toilets at work - but tbh I would probably have done that pg or not.
What I def am not imagining are my books hurting and getting very big. Convinced it's been noticed.

BJZebra · 14/03/2014 18:26

Boobs not books Grin

HRMumness · 14/03/2014 20:05

So sorry to hear you had a MC starfish.

Sazhoopz - You aren't the only one who lets their DC play with the iPad Blush. Although today I actually let her have some time on it so I could finish all the housework before the weekend. A little bit here and there isn't the end of the world.

Petal26 · 14/03/2014 20:43

Thinking of you starfish

Hormones kicking in I think, just cried and cried doing the washing up, thought DH would have noticed and helped tonight seeing as though I did everything else!

alita7 · 14/03/2014 20:58

Just finished a late shift and bedtime could not come quicker! How's everyone doing?

MabelMay · 14/03/2014 21:53

Oh starfish... life is so very unfair. I'm so sorry.

MabelMay · 14/03/2014 21:55

Anyone else have absolutely no symptoms today? Am in a bit of a panic as now no sore boobs, no nausea, no tiredness. Can't believe am willing myself to feel sick, tired, with painful tits. Hmm

RandomInternetStranger · 14/03/2014 22:16

Hi all! Had a much better day today. Woke up with a banging headache again but felt better a few hours in and ended up feeling much much better the rest of the day. Tried on some maternity trousers in Long Tall Sally (I'm 6' tall) but I hate maternity trousers! I find them so uncomfortable and unflattering, I did last time too, I just stick to bigger, cheap, normal clothes. I find stretchy skinny jeans a couple of sizes up have slim enough legs and a big enough bum/waist to accomodate a growing bump. I've definitely got podgier and people have noticed, but just look like I've eaten too many pies rather than pg which is rather annoying! I want a t-shirt with "I'm not fat I'm early pregnant but don't tell anyone yet" Grin

Re food just like with DD it's just anything all day every day. I'm averaging 4 main meals and 4 or 5 snacks a day at the moment. Today I had toast, snacks of apple & yoghurt, grilled fish & veg, biscuits, steak & chips, apple pie, Christmas pud, scrambled eggs on toast, cheese, 2 cream eggs. So far. And I'm getting peckish again and fancy more scrambled eggs. It's not really surprising I have got podgy really...! Not sure I'll be able to hide it much longer. Really wanted a scan or to be able to hear a heartbeat on a doppler before I tell DD but not sure I'll get a choice, she's bound to notice something soon! Got her a big sister t-shirt and a book ready for when I do tell her but hoping to hold off a couple of weeks yet!

Starfish I'm sorry to hear your sad news. Take care of yourself.

alita7 · 14/03/2014 22:26

Mabelmay I go through periods of no symptoms and panic a bit but then they reappear suddenly. Like today I woke up feeling sick, and did so until around work time when a lucozade sport settled my belly then I went through about 6 hours of work totally fine and mostly without other symptoms either and then felt hungry so felt sick and now feel sick post eating and this time lucozade is not helping at all :p so don't worry happens sometimes.

Nessalina · 14/03/2014 22:42

Hi everyone Smile
I've had a weird old day. Was at a training course with work, and after chatting to a fellow manager for ages at lunch I then overheard her telling someone else that she's pregnant again. Now everyone at work knows of our loss last year because we'd told folks I was pregnant, so tbh I was a bit Hmm that she'd not told me to my face that she was preggers, especially as I sort of thought we were friends. I guess it's a difficult one to approach, but I was a bit hurt. Luckily I'm pregnant, or it'd have hurt a lot more!
Anyway, she's only 9 weeks and telling everyone including our boss, so I thought I should probably tell him about me too, in case he starts planning for her absence, probably best to tell him all the facts. So I just said that I was nearly 6 weeks, hoping for the best, fearing the worst, and either way I'd be taking some time off at some point! He was really nice about it Smile
I felt weirdly negative afterwards though, like I'm jinxing it by telling people, but that's stupid, right?
People that know now: DH, one of my BFs (and her DH), my Mum, my boss. And that's it!!
