Hi all, I have my BFP and due 30th October. It's my third baby and was 2 weeks late with the last two so bound to be November.

Anybody else for November yet? I know it's very very early :)

Sorry pressed too soon that's a lovely idea about the card Tigsy .

I've told my parents already but won't tell anyone else until after scan.

But then I've had losses before and ended up telling everyone anyway, still it's nice to make a big announcement with something to actually show. So I'm no use at all really hehe.

Nessalina · 14/03/2014 07:44

I've told my mum already because she was my rock when it went wrong last time. I love my dad to pieces but he was so cut up last time, I don't want to put him through that again, so not going to tell him until after 12 week scan.
Still tempted for an early scan even though I told myself we wouldn't... Shock

alita7 · 14/03/2014 08:01

Nesselina ill cross my fingers for you too! I also took yet another test this morning and it's even darker than yesterday I think, though I think now it's darker than the control it's probably at its limit.

I had normal coloured wiping from about 9 am when all the residue seemed to have gone and a tiny bit of a pink tinge to the wee this morning but I think it's probably down to the last of the residue creeping down over night.

huftydufty · 14/03/2014 08:12

Hello.
I haven't managed to read the whole thread. I am cautiously joining you as I am only just 4 weeks, have a bfp, but it is very faint. My history is of 3 miscarriages in the last 4 years, so I am trying not to be too hopeful.

Hopefully I will be a fully fledged member and have a baby around the 21st of November.

Congratulations to everyone else.

Misslaughalot · 14/03/2014 08:13

Only my best friend knows about our previous mc, and I only told her as she'd just gone through her first round of IVF which failed, so we shared our grief with each other. I didn't tell my mum as although her support would have been amazing, she's so far away I didn't want her to feel helpless.

We waited until 15 weeks to tell my parents last time, I guess we can do it again.

Anyway, is 4 pieces of toast for breakfast excessive?

ladydolly · 14/03/2014 08:23

I've only told my 2 best friends and that's only because I was away with them for the weekend and I had some bleeding and needed to share my worry. I'm having a private scan at 10 weeks and will tell my close family then. I'm hoping to get my NHS scan at late 11 weeks so I can tell work before I go away on conference the week after!

My sister made a massive deal about telling the family, lots of videoing of announcements and photo-shopping birthday cards etc and she was only 5 weeks. It seemed a bit over the top and a bit early to me so I'd rather wait and be sure. And hopefully more low key...

4 pieces of toast totally fine. 2 pieces of toast, a cadburys hero, a mini flapjack and a mini brownie - Also ok?

alita7 · 14/03/2014 08:24

Lady dolly I wish I could find something appealing for breakfast I'm starving but I feel far too sick for most things!

WinterLover · 14/03/2014 09:36

I wish I could eat. Really fancy salty bacon sandwiches but I know dam well how that will end up.

Just ordered a 'Im going to be a big brother' t-shirt for DS Grin

alita7 · 14/03/2014 09:41

Ahhh salty bacon might be a plan!

StudyFullTime · 14/03/2014 09:59

I just had 2 crumpets and a sugar mouse for breakfast Blush

Giraffeski · 14/03/2014 10:32

Misslaughalot- I've just had four pieces of toast too!
I stopped feeling sick while I was eating them and now I've finished I still feel sick.
I think I just need to be constantly eating. Trouble is, I just don't fancy anything.

MrsWombat · 14/03/2014 10:35

Morning all! On annual leave today so making a start with The Big Clear Out.

Have changed my booking appointment to one that isn't in my workplace! It's on the 25th when I'll be nearly 7 weeks.

Have bought some longer t shirts from ASOS to get me through the next couple of months.

Have also started an amazon wish list.

I think bacon might be on my lunch menu. Grin

PosyFossilsShoes · 14/03/2014 10:38

Congrats and welcome huftydufty :)

I'm away on a work trip. I woke up not-nauseous for the first time this week (it's only been v mild nausea, like waking up with a slightly queasy hangover) and hoovered up a full English, to the barely-disguised horror of the skinny minnies who subsist on Evian water and marlborough lights.

I then had a full panic because I'd read somewhere that no nausea can indicate mc. Have now given myself a virtual slap for being so daft.

alita7 · 14/03/2014 11:14

Posy other people have described losing symptoms for a bit but then they kick off with a vengeance, like the calm before the storm. Last week I was waking up and throwing up, but I think that was more heartburn related as now I feel more pregnant nausea- the too sick to eat but must eat now or ill be sick but can't eat too much or again I'll be sick, though I haven't actually been sick from this yet.
After the bleed yesterday waking up feeling sick today could not have been more welcome :p

Greenstone · 14/03/2014 11:38

Morning all. You lot with your food talk! I dug out some sausages from the freezer this morning and cooked them up with toast and egg. I never eat sausages - I only had them because I'd used them in the Christmas stuffing. Anyway, they were fanfuckingtastic so hurrah to a greasy breakfast say I.

and then I polished off 2 homemade biscuits

Posy I feel absolutely fine too so far this morning. Just one of those things I guess. Last time I felt my worst around 8-9 weeks so it could be all ahead of us.

alita glad the bleed has tailed off.
Nessalina I hope yours has tailed off too. Brown blood is the best kind in these circumstances I guess.
MrsWombat link to your ASOS purchases?

ladydolly · 14/03/2014 11:40

I felt really sick week 4, this week I've felt fine until last night when I felt SO ill I couldn't move.

Slightly nausea when I wake up but after I've exercised I feel better, is that weird?

Friday everyone, couldn't be more welcome!

MrsWombat · 14/03/2014 12:01

Greenstone - these two are from the tall range. I'm 5'7" so normal t shirts end up too short once I've washed them a few times. Hoping these will cover bump for a while.

Also this one looks fairly long so will take a look before maybe sending it back.

They also have oversized t shirts but I think I'll wait until I've announced the pregnancy before trying one of those as they are massive and very obvious!

Last time I was still in normal clothes at 6 months. Don't think so this time!

Greenstone · 14/03/2014 12:32

Good finds MrsW! I wore loads of longline tops for my last pregnancy, anything too short felt so frumpy -- but I am only 5'2 :)
I've been having a bit of a nose at maternity ranges online and while there are loads of tops and dresses to choose from, there's very little in the way of cardigans or jumpers that will properly cover a bump. It's like the designers think pregnant women always feel hot so they can just wander around in a top for 9 months or something.

I got a couple of Primark boyfriend cardigans the other day but the quality is utter shite, I may as well throw them straight in the bin. They used to be better than this.

I was in normal clothes up til about 7 months last time :) But I sort of exploded then and found dressing myself for the last couple of months a really boring experience.

Hopeful83 · 14/03/2014 12:56

Hi everyone. I've just got back from my scan, all is good :) We could see the heartbeat which was lovely. It is a little smaller than my dates, Dr was wavering between 5w 6 days and 6 w 1 day. But by my dates I should be 6w5d. I am certain of my dates so am a little worried that it's too small but having done some googling it seems that early measurements are not very reliable. They did find 2 cysts on one of my ovaries so I have to go back in a fortnight to have another scan to check on the cysts, he thinks they are pregnancy related and will go away. It will be nice to get another scan, should be about 8 weeks then by their dates or nearly 9 by mine. Overall I am feeling much better and relieved, although there's still a long way to go. Hope everyone else is ok who has been having issues x

starfish99 · 14/03/2014 13:20

I'm afraid I'm out of the November club as miscarried this morning. Good luck to all you ladies and may the rest of your pregnancy journies be happy and healthy x

DilysMoon · 14/03/2014 13:24

That's brilliant hopeful what a relief!

I've just had a letter through for a group appointment at the early pregnancy clinic on 24/3. Not keen on the group aspect, hope there's noone there I know. Apparently we are given our full booking appointment date then.

Nipped to Primark this morning and ended up with some maternity jeans oops. So comfy though, I just feel sensitive in the tummy area like I don't want anything pressing on me like normal jeans and a belt, very strange. Those tshirts are nice alita will have a look on there. Had a quick mooch round H&M and New Look maternity sections and it was quite disappointing all grey, black and navy.

DilysMoon · 14/03/2014 13:26

So sorry to hear that starfish, hugs to you.

I meant MrsW re the tops.

Nessalina · 14/03/2014 13:27

Hi all Smile
The browny CM has already faded out so that's good! A little bit is to be expected I think.
I had a McDs breakfast wrap this morning. It was AMAZING.

alita7 · 14/03/2014 13:28

That's brilliant news hopeful! Still got til Tuesday until I get my scan.

Starfish I'm so sorry I hope you have lots of love and support with you and I wish you a happy successful pregnancy in the future.

Nessalina · 14/03/2014 13:29

Sorry Starfish X-post
Awful news, all the best to you SadThanks
