Hi all, I have my BFP and due 30th October. It's my third baby and was 2 weeks late with the last two so bound to be November.

Anybody else for November yet? I know it's very very early :)

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
Polkadotscarf · 08/03/2014 12:14

Can I join? 4 weeks and a bit, due 9th November and terrified! Wasn't planned but we're both excited and I just really want things to go smoothly!

BatCave · 08/03/2014 13:36

Will there's no way I'm going to catch up with being a way for a week! So many of us here now!

Have been very naughty, a weeks holiday and I think I have ticked every bleeding box of things I not meant to do/eat :-/
1 (small) glass wine
Too much caffeinated tea
Bagged prepared salad
Runny eggs
Stilton
Warm hot tub
Hot hot tub
Water slides
Went round the rapids

Would never have done any of this in my first pregnancy, and not much of it in second!

RandomInternetStranger · 08/03/2014 13:43

So sorry littlemiss. Sad Take care of yourself.

I've woken up today feeling like crap. Just want to stay in bed! I feel sick and tired and generally bleurgh. Good sign, but ugh!

Just going to take it easy today.

WinterLover · 08/03/2014 14:01

om so sorry littlemiss take care of yourself xx

im feeling rubbish but got newborn niece cuddles to look forward to later Grin

Desperately want to tell close family but dont want to take over DB and SILs special moments

HRMumness · 08/03/2014 15:40

So sorry littlemisssunshine. Fingers crossed for next time.

Only thrown up once today but still can't keep down food. DH woke up at 3am to go puke his guts out as well. Totally horrible that we are both sick and DD has watched far too much telly / missed swimming but glad it wasn't the start of some epic morning sickness. Trying to keep fluids up but couldn't keep down water last night and haven't half a proper meal since breakfast yesterday. If not feeling better by Monday will go visit doctor first thing.

AveryJessup · 08/03/2014 16:03

Sorry to hear that, littlemiss. My first pg was an MMC and I got pregnant 3 months later with my DS who is now 2.4 so there's always hope. I was really despairing when it was my first pg and worried there was something wrong with me but it was just bad luck. Hope it's the same for you ad you get another BFP soon.

That's great you got a good scan, MammySam - so great when you get reassurance. I can't wait for my scan, am having it at 8 weeks as am in the US and they scan earlier here. Only 3 weeks to go...

Can't count quick enough for me. Feel like my symptoms are easing off this morning, no sore breasts anymore, not as fatigued. Could be just a blip as I remember last time symptoms were up and down all the time but can't help but worry a little. I do always get my symptoms worst in the evenings so mornings are always scary for me....!

AveryJessup · 08/03/2014 16:04

*come quick enough, that should read!

Wilhelminanevillesdottir · 08/03/2014 17:56

You sound just like me Avery. I don't remember feeling quite so paranoid last time.

Oh I hate throwing up Mumness. Not that anyone enjoys it. Hope you're all better soon.

How new is the newborn Winter? It wouldn't bother me if I had a newborn and someone announced their pregnancy. I'd think it was exciting.

Hi and welcome polka. Don't be terrified. Just be mildly paranoid and obsessed like the rest of us.

alita7 · 08/03/2014 18:18

Hello I'm 5+2 due 6th november :) How is everyone? Only just found this thread :)

Annarose2014 · 08/03/2014 18:29

Hello all, I'm due 2nd Nov according to my GPs wheel thingy, but I'm sure i'll be later.

Am dying for a scan! Have previous gynae issues so my GP has put in a request for an early one. Though I don't think you can see much and it's not like a good scan would mean it'd stick. So logically I dont know why I want it so much, but i do! Just to convince myself that it's real and its not just a bunch of random (horrible) symptoms!

PosyFossilsShoes · 08/03/2014 18:48

Sorry to hear your news LittleMissSunshine

I've only just found this thread, joining in if I may - DC1 due 10th November according to the MN due date calculator! BFP was last weekend. Have my first GP appointment on Monday.

No symptoms to speak of, fx that continues…

Nessalina · 08/03/2014 18:57

Loads of new folks! Congrats everyone! Grin
Must do a roll call update Smile

HRMumness · 08/03/2014 19:02

Welcome Alita & Posy.

Hope you get your scan Annarose, sometimes a little reassurance goes a long way. Sounds like a perfectly reasonable request if you've had issues before.

I've managed to keep down fluids and have had dinner, washing it down with a fresh ginger tea. Just got DD off to sleep and now DH and I are going to head straight to bed to read / go to sleep early.

Love your name btw Posy - I Envy Ballet Shoes! Smile

Nessalina · 08/03/2014 19:17

Can I just put something out there now?
Can we pretty please NOT have a Facebook group?!
When I was on my last Antenatal thread they started one, and everyone buggered off to use it, but I'm not a big fan of Facebook so I didn't want to. It made the thread really quiet! I'm on MN coz I love MN, I don't love Facebook...
Lol, sorry for the random rant, just thought I'd get that before someone suggests it. Obvs if I'm in the minority then knock yourselves out Grin

BJZebra · 08/03/2014 19:26

Hello, I'm due on 11th November according to a due date calendar. Can I join please?
This will be my DC2, DD1 is 2yrs. As I'm 41 I'm so pleased as we have been trying since DD was born. I'm off to the doctors on Tuesday to make it all official. Smile
I love that i have somewhere to talk about it as obviously it's very limited who we can share news with just yet.
Congratulations to you all Smile

PosyFossilsShoes · 08/03/2014 19:43

Thanks Nessalina - someone else had already nabbed PosyFossil so I ended up being the shoes! I love all those sorts of mid 20th C children's books, I collect them.

I completely agree with not having a FB group - FB is too public, you have to use your real name, and even in a closed group if they change the privacy settings, as they do every ten seconds, that is not the way I want to announce my pg to the world!!

Wilhelminanevillesdottir · 08/03/2014 20:05

I also don't want a fb group as I kind of like being anonymous.

Hi Zebra, congratulations!

alita7 · 08/03/2014 20:37

Just realised I conceived on valentines day (and we don't even do valentines day :p) how twee is that. Going to have to change babys name from ninja to ninja-cupid I think :)
Also don't want a fb group at this point as don't want people knowing yet. Haven't told anyone but DP yet- what about you guys is it a secret or are you telling?

alita7 · 08/03/2014 20:44

Ooh and for the purposes of your list this is DC1 me but have 3DSC 1of which live with us :)

AussieGoingHomeSoon · 08/03/2014 21:51

Hello everybody, I'm so excited to join you all for the ups and downs of this pregnancy journey !

This is DC3 for us due 7th Nov. We have DD who is 3 next month & DS who is 1 next month, so not big gaps but i really wanted them all close in age.

Got a very, almost not there BFP last Sunday(12DPO) another very faint BFP on Tuesday (AF due date) and then a nice dark BFP on a super drug test on the Wed. Until I saw the Superdrug test I thought it must be a BFN as my other 2 pregnancies i had strong BFP's at 10DPO so was extremely happy.

I've got no pregnancy symptoms but I didn't have much with my first 2, so can't wait for 12 week scan to give us the peace of mind that all is hopefully ok.

Is anyone else hungry & not hungry at the same time, Im not actually hungry but feel like eating all the time, it's so weird !!

We won't tell anyone till after 1st scan, it's nice having out own little special secret for a little while ! I'm sure everyone will be shocked as we are planning to migrate to OZ next March so it's gonna be a busy 9 month !

Looking forward to chatting to you all

RandomInternetStranger · 09/03/2014 00:18

Is anyone else having difficulty controlling their temperature? One minute I'm sweating, the next I'm shivering, and when I get hot my heart feels like it's pounding and my face feels flushed... I'm seeing the midwife Tuesday so I'll mention it to her then but just a little nervous! I had pre - eclampsia last time so don't know if that means anything - I know that sends your blood pressure up and that is definitely how it feels, blood pressure through the roof - I can permanently feel my heartbeat in my head, neck or chest.

Nessalina · 09/03/2014 01:06

Hi Aussie! Grin
Yes, I'm all over the place temperature wise, mostly freezing though!
I'm such a greedy pig Blush Dominos for dinner, then just had a 1am dominos leftover snack. Bleurgh.

MabelMay · 09/03/2014 04:46

Nessalina - hi fellow November the 8th-er. I agree no FB group.
And hello everyone else. Welcome newbies.

Just checking in. Feeling very symptom-less today which I always hate. Apart from the big boobs not much else to make me feel pregnant. Kind of looking forward to the weeks when the symptoms really kick in as I find them pretty reassuring after two MCs.

random not having any radical temperature changes but hope it calms down for you.

Take care all!
