Hi all, I have my BFP and due 30th October. It's my third baby and was 2 weeks late with the last two so bound to be November.

Anybody else for November yet? I know it's very very early :)

The newborn is not even 2 days old Grin she's making me so broody.
well I have been up the past 10 hours being sick. Feel horrible this morning.

I checked my weight yesterday too. ive lost 2lb in 2 weeks Hmm

BJZebra · 09/03/2014 06:59

I'm feeling a little embarrassed going back to work tomorrow. on Friday afternoon I was feeling a little lightheaded and I got called into an last minute meeting and quite frankly I behaved really out of character. I didn't make much sense, was quite flippant and kept asking if they had my information so could I leave! I think they where exchanging puzzled looks between themselves!
oooops!
anyone got any advice for managing yourself to appear professional when you're feeling any think but?

BJZebra · 09/03/2014 07:00

'thing' but professional

PosyFossilsShoes · 09/03/2014 07:31

Anyone else waking up early and not being able to go back to sleep?! DP is going to wonder what's going on, I'm usually happy to snooze until mid morning at weekends. Still, it means I can get on with the work I should have done yesterday when I was fucking about on the internet instead...

pinkgirlythoughts · 09/03/2014 07:45

Morning all, I got my positive test this morning- due date 17th November! Grin

Wilhelminanevillesdottir · 09/03/2014 07:53

I'm mostly just cold. It does sound like it might be a blood pressure thing Random. Best to get checked out.

Aw Winter that is grim. Hope you have the chance of some rest today.

Zebra I think you're just going to have to style it out like nothing unusual happened. You can explain it in a couple of months if it's still bothering you. If you just start acting normal again, everyone will likely forget (if they haven't already).

I am posy. Managed until six this morning and was so chuffed because yesterday was half four. I should have got up and done something useful but this is my one lie in of the week so I haven't. I need to get up for refreshments though. Have awful backache and know I should be moving around to help it but feeling so lazy.

FurryScoob · 09/03/2014 07:59

Hello ladies, can I join you too?
Got my BFP on Thursday, think I'm due on the 12th November. Got a GP appointment on Wednesday to make it official, it's our first DC & I seem to be switching from really happy to absolutely terrified of what's to come!

Had a few cramps & a tiny bit of spotting but hoping its all to do with implantation.

WinterLover · 09/03/2014 08:00

wilhelm I wish I have a doped up injured DP, an energetic 2 year old, a demanding 8 year old step daughter and 2 dogs who are like coiled springs that really need a long run after been house bound the past few days due to injured DP.

im meant to be at work tomorrow too Sad

MammySam · 09/03/2014 08:44

MammySam · 09/03/2014 08:44

Ooh and furryscoob! Congratulations!

Nessalina · 09/03/2014 09:03

Hey scoob! Grin

Nessalina · 09/03/2014 09:04

Hello BJ! Are you new or a name changer? You're not on my roll call not that I'm OCD or anything Blush

BJZebra · 09/03/2014 09:12

Hello,
I'm new as of yesterday. For your roll call, it will be DC2 Smile

BJZebra · 09/03/2014 09:15

I'm wide awake too really early when I was looking forward to my lie in.
Quite surprised that I am aware of so many symptons so early on. What about these women you read about in the news who give birth on the loo as they didn't know they were pregnant!

PosyFossilsShoes · 09/03/2014 09:36

Yes, but we're looking out for symptoms because we know we're pg. If I was still having periods (does happen) I'd probably not attribute any of it to pregnancy…

Mind you, the last one I read about was someone who thought they had "trapped wind" before giving birth on the loo, if I can mistake contractions for trapped wind that would be lovely please.

Wilhelminanevillesdottir · 09/03/2014 09:41

Oh winter I forgot about your DP. That does not sound in the slightest bit fun. Hope you get through the day ok and manage a good rest tonight.

Hi scoob.

Greenstone · 09/03/2014 09:47

Hi everyone! Hope the weekends are going ok. Really feel for you HRmumness and winter. Hope you both get some rest soon.

Raining here and trying to figure out what to do with the day. I'm feeling a bit short tempered and irritable with incessant toddler questions and early rising...

pinkgirlythoughts · 09/03/2014 09:59

Thanks everyone. For the roll call, it's DC2 for me too.

alita7 · 09/03/2014 10:26

Posy the trapped wind I've been having is pretty painful!
anyone seem to have a nocturnal baby? I get lots of symptoms at night which wake me up! Before it was trapped wind and last night ninja-cupid obviously didn't like the chocolate cake we had as I woke up about 1.30 and had my first proper puke of the pregnancy, it was more acid reflux than morning sickness, but I'm gonna count it :p

Nessalina · 09/03/2014 11:04

barmybunting · 09/03/2014 11:07

Hi everyone, can I tentatively poke my foot through the door please?

This is dc#1 for us. After a rough ride for the last few ttc cycles, it looks like this is hopefully a more sticky bean so fingers crossed it stays that way!

Stats:
Barmybunting dc#1 EDD 16th Nov

Hopefully I haven't missed anything!

Congratulations to all of you. I'm looking forward to sharing an interesting journey with you all in the next few months!

Although ridiculously early for symptoms, has anyone not been able to sleep properly? I keep waking up every hour and then am up at 6, totally unable to sleep any more. This is the total opposite to normality for me!

Nessalina · 09/03/2014 12:31

Hey Barmy - that seems to be a common symptom for a lot of us Confused 6am is my new wake up time, it's very annoying!

PosyFossilsShoes · 09/03/2014 12:36

Hello barmy! It's so nice to see familiar names from the March TTC bus congregating over here. Those dragons clearly did something ;)

Wilhelminanevillesdottir · 09/03/2014 12:36

Hi Barmy. Congratulations! Think half the thread are having sleeping issues so you're not alone. I should start getting up and doing something useful and then go back for a sleep at lunchtime. But haven't managed it yet.

PosyFossilsShoes · 09/03/2014 12:39

And YY to the waking up stupidly early. DP stumbled downstairs at about 8.30 this morning - a time which I usually rank around "dawn" on a Sunday - demanding to know who I was and what I'd done with her partner, lol.

She's usually up before me and she is enjoying getting a cup of tea brought to her in the morning rather than the other way round!!
