Morning all!
Gosh, new thread and lots of new babies too! Congratulations Pucca - hope your recovery goes well - I know you weren't looking forward to it. And congratualtions also to Snowboo - well done on just gas and air (I'm also hoping for that), and I do hope bf is getting easier for you.
Booby - wow! Just goes to prove women can dig out their inner strengths when it comes down to it! Hope it's going well for you, and as others have said, whichever way it happens, you know that you have gone for it head on.
Eeny and Sal - all my best wishes, hope everything is going ok.
Yellow - another one on the brink! Good luck! Bloss - hope you don't have to wait much longer.
Everyone else - hope you're enjoying the cooler weather.
Well, I'm personally very happy that I'm still hanging on. 38 weeks today! My scan last week showed measurements had improved, so I didn't have to have a CS there and then (phew!) However, due for another scan on the 16th, and warned of another CS if baby shows any signs of growth having slowed again. I'm finding it annoying having to have all these scans, but Hosp. is ultra-cautious because of my ds being IUGR. This one will be small too, though, not much over 6lb (i've worked out on all the graphs I've got in my notes) - but then I'm a very little person myself, so it's hardly surprising! I'm just happy there are no signs of early labour, and that baby's moving around a lot.
Darned uncomfortable to sleep these days though - my hip gets really stiff since baby's head started to engage a couple of weeks back (still at 4/5 though), but I've been very good just keeping on my left side and doing all the other stuff to ensure baby's in the best position, which has worked splendidly!
