PinkTulips · 06/08/2006 23:22

Congrats pucca

wow were popping all over the place now aren't we?

Blossom, would your hospital not break your waters when your that far dilated? mine were broken at 3cm both times... that said i'd been in labour for 15/16 hours each tiome so maybe that makes a differance.

Booby, so proud of you for giving it a go babe, trust in your body and you'll be fine, you CAN do this will be sending you lots of positive vibes

dressedupnowheretogo · 06/08/2006 23:25

dressedupnowheretogo · 06/08/2006 23:27

and im 16 days early what the f*ck is that all about

trix1 · 06/08/2006 23:44

Ive had to get up out of bed - getting pains every 10 mins or so and they are quite strong/painful - dont know if it could be the start or not. Just going to wait to see if they continue / get stronger or if they stop I suppose.

trix1 · 06/08/2006 23:47

Booby are your contractions currently very irregular then? Do you have far to travel to the hospital if you have to go back tonight?

Salamander · 07/08/2006 01:03

Hi all you ladies!
Salamander here reporting that as I type Eeny is in St. John's maternity!

She went in today after having had increased leaking - didn't seem just like a show any more.

So we phoned MW and went in.
After a fair bit of examining, a fetal heart monitor, a mobile ultrasound scan, the registrar stated that her waters had broken. Not quite sure when though!
Any time over the last five days...

So as she is 36+2 they are keeping her in and plan to induce if labour hasn't started in 72 hrs...

So Salamander and Eeny chatted for some time and decided that it was best for her to stay in depite the facts that she so wanted to come home for one last night in our bed, say bye bye to the cats, pack her labour bag and talk to all her friends!!!

So I cam flying home, packed everything in the house into three bags and flew back again.

Boo hoo I can't stay with her.
The water birth is out the window.

They told us we will have a baby before the week is out!!!!!!!!!!!
Alexander is nearly upon us!!!!!

Oh My God!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

YellowFeathers · 07/08/2006 07:20

Oh christ alive!!!!!

We're going all over the place
Woweee!!!

Well go on Booby girl, I and I am sure everyone else here is so majorly proud of you for giving it a go. I hope your ok sweetie and keep us posted.

Trix, Crickey!!!! That stuff does work then I hope things have kicked off and your not glued to the loo

and Sal wow! Send E all our love, tell her we're thinking of her and looking forward to your announcement soon!!!

Well girlies, I might be joining them! Don't know whats happening, well I do! I think the little sac of waters have gone in the loo of all places. This is what happened with dd and it took a few hours after for anything to kick off. Just not sure what to do really. I guess the hospital will need to check me out at some point so I'm going to hang on and see what happens!!!!
