Didn't see one started, as our last thread looks full. Let's hope we are all kicking the early pregnancy sickness and starting to glow :)

Has anyone else noticed faster then usual growth of leg hair. I look like a monkey Hmm

icklekid · 08/02/2014 13:13

I think Facebook groups you have to have your real names can't use pseudonyms...

Pleased to hear that pilates wasn't all people in third trimester makes me less nervous about starting mine!

laday hope you get some more concrete news soon

zing amazing to have so many viewings that bodes well...

mummytobejuly2014 · 08/02/2014 15:49

liquidstate I read that can be the sign of a boy. I havent really noticed. been too exhausted to pay attention apart from once a week/fortnight lol

BlueC2 · 08/02/2014 16:05

liquid on the plus side the hair on your head should be looking fuller and more voluminous...but the downside is as you say - super quick hair growth everywhere else! Down below becomes especially difficult to keep tame as bump gets bigger Smile probably why it used to be standard practice to shave a lady down there when they were about to give birth (thankfully they don't do that anymore I think the itching from a superclose shave growing back along with the rest of recovery to that area would be pretty unbearable personally!!)

Re. exercise I didn't do any when I was expecting DS (had good intentions but never did get around to it!) and put quite a lot of weight on but breastfeeding was my friend and helped me lose it all [slightly smug emoticon]. This time I am running around after DS and I do take him for his swimming lesson once a week but have decided that's nearly as good as an aquanatal class as it's a proper work out! I am also still breastfeeding and don't seem to have put as much weight on this time (yet!)...hoping that breastfeeding DC2 will have the same effect in terms of weight loss as with DS but I do have concerns that will not happen and I will have to put rather more effort in this time as I am also 2 years older which no doubt will have an impact!

zing hope the viewings have gone well!

MrsA2 · 08/02/2014 16:19

Good luck Zing, sounds very promising. Think we are going to put an offer in on Monday, exciting. We are keen on two properties so going to see how a cheeky offer on one goes first...

My baby makes me giggle in the morning, I wake up after sleeping on my side and it is bunched up on my right hand side! Goes flat again within about 15 mins. It's like it tries to dig a hole to get comfortable. Anyone else?

ZingSweetApple · 08/02/2014 17:18

I had no pg lookers so it can't be you MrsA

went ok, some liked it - got to wait till Monday.
nothing I can do now so relaxing in EMPTY house!Grin

ZingSweetApple · 08/02/2014 17:19

and thanks for all good wishes.
I imagine the babies crossing their fingers!Smile

MrsA2 · 08/02/2014 17:22

Haha I was trying hard to hide my pregnancy but two were second viewings and the other with the estate agent only so I'm sure it wasn't you Zing (that would have bee hilarious though!).

ZingSweetApple · 08/02/2014 17:25

imagine!Grin

Is everyone counting down til the 20 week scan or am I the only impatient one? 1 week 6 days and counting!

Plateofcrumbs · 08/02/2014 18:31

20 week scan seems too far away for me at the moment. I'm still waiting for final results from CVS - we were told 2-3 weeks and it'll be 3 weeks on Tuesday - feeling a bit nervy even though hopefully the most likely risks have been ruled out already. I'm nervous about the 20 week scan too (extra checks on heart needed). I know chances are everything will be fine but my confidence has been shot now.

Have been bra shopping today as sick of tight bras - have gone up from 32C to 34D-34DD!

talulahbelle · 08/02/2014 18:51

I am still waiting for the letter telling me when my 20weeks scan is. I'm 20weeks today, should I be worried? I've a midwife appointment Wednesday so will speak to her then.

Still no real bump, I just have a slightly less than flat stomach. No movement felt yet either, but as I'm only 16weeks I guess it's a bit early.

Oh dear. DH appears to be giving into the crazy. I asked of he wanted to do something on Friday and he didn't really and neither did I. I suggested as a joke we could go to IKEA and he said 'if that's what you want'!

We have a tentative trip there scheduled but not even I would do that to him on Valentines Day.

Hope all house sales and buys go well. Hoping to start groundwork in mid-April but more likely it'll be June (!)

Bean is being mean. Weird twinges and aches and pains and I never observe bean move. I know it does - but I have to be so still and aware which I'm not really..

Patchwork88 · 08/02/2014 19:10

talulah: I'm sure all hospitals are different but I had to book my 20 wk scan before I left the hospital at my 12 wk scan, so perhaps it's worth calling in case someone forgot to tell you?

talulahbelle · 08/02/2014 19:11

Nicked this from the July thread: www.parentdish.co.uk/2009/06/03/nub-theory-baby-gender-prediction-at-12-weeks/

I now think I'm having a girl.. Will be interesting to see if I'm right. I'm actually hoping for a boy, because they have better toys and I'm not that fond of pink!

SmallOlympianBear · 08/02/2014 19:39

I've been going to my normal Pilates class - quite weird how much harder it feels being pregnant. Will swap classes post-20 weeks or so.

MrsB I've pm-ed you about FB, the one I'm on for my DD is fab :)

Found out this week that I don't have gestational diabetes this time around, yessss (pass the chocolate). Have to go back for a re-test at 28 weeks.

Talulah I'd give your hospital a ring. Mine booked me in for a 20 week scan but I didn't receive the letter.

icklekid · 08/02/2014 19:43

Got such awful heart burn all day today :-( anyone got any ideas what I could do?

Meant to be going out tonight but not a chance!

fifi669 · 08/02/2014 20:53

Down gaviscon like a crazy lady :)

osinachi · 08/02/2014 22:42

ickleI feel the same but combined with a very bloated tummy. I look like AM six months when am just 16 weeks. It's making me really uncomfortable . But gaviscon to the rescue ..... I hope. Off to gulp some.

mummytobejuly2014 · 08/02/2014 23:54

im measuring 18+3 from my epu scan when I should be 18+1. our "20wk" scan I will be 21+4 or poss 21+6 Confused
wondering should i ring and see if I can get it earlier? its been booked since our booking in scan. do you's think they'll be rigid and stick to their date or let me go sooner? 4th of march feels like forever away!

BlueC2 · 09/02/2014 02:18

Grrr 2.30am and wide awake and laid under a fleece on the sofa but freezing cold :( We have PIL staying for one night and as usual have given them our bed so DH and I are on the futon in the spare room. Normally fine except tonight I just cannot find a comfy position so having a break on the sofa before trying again! Would happuly sleep down here if I could get warm. SO much to do tomorrow I really needed a good nights sleep!! Oh and the heartburn starting to kick in too!

fifi669 · 09/02/2014 02:54

Went to the pub tonight with my sisters. Had a few pints of diet coke. Think the caffeine has got me. Hello 3am!

icklekid · 09/02/2014 03:20
