Oooh 3 for a boy and 1 for a girl.

Exciting times!! Better start choosing boys' names then.

dizhin79 · 22/01/2014 15:06

I really want banana milkshake now! I may have to make some :)

puggywug81 · 22/01/2014 16:35

Scary coincidences! I've been having banana milkshakes everyday, my bump is all upfront and high and wiggly, sonographer said I'm having a boy!

FoxMulder · 22/01/2014 16:40

I've been drinking banana milkshake too...

BakingEating · 22/01/2014 16:46

Banana milkshake? Sounds like heresy to me! I've been having loads of hot chocolate. Yum.

If Frankel is still about I wanted to mention that I've puffed up a bit too. It happened over the course of a week. BP is normal though, so no need to be paranoid Smile

mrsmugoo · 22/01/2014 17:20

Owlina I'm team yellow too - apparently it's girls that give their mothers bad skin in pregnancy...the wives tale says something like boys make their mothers beautiful but girls take the beauty for themselves.

I have to say for once in my life my skin is absolutely flawless and my hair and nails are growing like weeds - everyone, literally everyone thinks we're having a boy.

OwlinaTree · 22/01/2014 18:21

Hummm, skin's not too bad, but bad for me and definately not glowing!!

I am about the same as last time, which was a girl, but who knows? Just cos feel the same, doesn't mean it will be the same.

Quite a mix on here then. I so love doing those online quizzes about whether it's a boy or a girl.

OwlinaTree · 22/01/2014 18:22

Thanks for all the responses by the way. Can't wait to find out the rest of team Yellow's results!

Lottie345 · 22/01/2014 18:41

No idea about heart rate but my skin and hair horrid, low down but all frontal bump. Banana milk - yes! Def craving more sweet stuff than normal. People are split on what we're having but prob more coming down on girl side...

Yogibear72 · 22/01/2014 20:11

Heart rate around 135 @ 32 weeks
Very wiggly and lots of baby hiccups
Bump at front and low
Less spotty than usual.
Craving mister whippey vanilla ice cream (but banana milkshake would be nice)

Guesses anyone? I haven't a clue Confused

For those whose sonagrapher has hazard a guess - don't they have insider knowledge having looked at the scan?

Yogibear72 · 22/01/2014 20:14

Now I want vanilla ice cream again Hmm
It has to be the cheap mr whippy stuff. Ben and Jerry's in the freezer just won't do.

OwlinaTree · 22/01/2014 20:39

yogi that sounds like a boy except the sweet cravings!
Lottie sounds like a boy.

Have you tried the Chinese calendar predictor?

pixiebell79 · 22/01/2014 20:41

Yogi the sonographer hates to commit themselves...! Hence why they'll never give you an answer that sounds certain. I think a boy again :)

OwlinaTree · 22/01/2014 20:46

Sorry Lottie yours sounds like a girl!!

PiratesMam · 22/01/2014 20:48

Hmm my skin was awful with my first (boy), but hair was fab.
Skin great with second (girl), but hair awful.
Skin pretty bad again this time and we're having a boy this time - and hair is growing like a weed!

Yogibear72 · 22/01/2014 21:02

pixie I didn't know that Confused I thought they were right 99.9%of the time. There's a girl in my antenatal group who's been told it's a girl and has gone and bought everything in pink. I hope they got it right.

commsgirl · 22/01/2014 23:07

I'm having a girl. Bump's all in the front and low. Not tonnes of big movement but lots of little kicks and plenty of hiccups! My skin's fab but my hair is terrible. Craving chocolate and ice mainly. And burgers Blush

pixiebell79 · 22/01/2014 23:27

Yogi I believe they are pretty accurate, but can sometimes be wrong. I think it's just a case of them not wanting responsibility if it is wrong (can't say that I blame them!)

commsgirl · 23/01/2014 08:01

Our sonographer said they wouldn't tell you if they weren't confident but they play it down in case they have made a mistake. Which is rare, but does happen.

FoxMulder · 23/01/2014 08:06

I really hate people speculating about what I'm having, weirdly! Even though I know they have no way of knowing, I don't want to be led to think in either direction. My colleague keeps asking what the heart rate is but I won't tell her! Even though I know it doesn't matter.

I've been calling it 'he' this whole time, so I really need to start using 'she' I think.

DitaVonCreamTeas · 23/01/2014 09:13

1st NCT class tonight, fingers crossed for a good bunch of local Martians.

puggywug81 · 23/01/2014 09:23

Good luck dita report back. Can't wait to find out what everyone has. I really hope our sonographer was right as we only have boys names picked, couldn't agree on girl's names!

DitaVonCreamTeas · 23/01/2014 09:47

Cheers puggywug81 will do. We also only have boys names lined up, if 'he's' a girl we'll have to do some pretty quick thinking. Grin

Anyone else not told family or friends what names they're thinking of? DH and I haven't told anyone as we want to avoid the nonsense of 'Oh no! I went to school with a boy called that and he bullied me and smelled of wee!' But because we're 'arty' (cough) and haven't told people it seems that everyone thinks we're going for something really usual like 'Rhubarb Shithousen Von Cream Teas'. Whereas we're actually going for something much more restrained.

FoxMulder · 23/01/2014 10:00

We've not told anyone either. I was going to tell my parents but they said 'No don't tell us!!'. Fair enough...

You should definitely go with 'Rhubarb' Dita. So beautiful... Grin

I can't imagine calling him anything other than 'Bumpy'. He IS Bumpy!

commsgirl · 23/01/2014 10:11

Dita we haven't told anyone we know the gender so are avoiding talking about names. Everyone knows what we'd call a boy anyway (family name) so we're having to avoid even talking about choosing names or they'll know it's a girl straight away.

We were both completely spooked though when my dad got his family tree out and the name we've picked was on there!
