Hi everyone. Its been a very long time since I have posted on mumsnet, but today I have found out that I am expecting baby number 2. My ds1 is just over three years old. Bit shocked to be having another baby but very pleased too.
It would be great to get a thread going as people join me with their April 2007 due dates!!
Very nervous as ds1 had group b strep and birth and was v poorly but forewarned is forearmed as they say!
Look forward to chatting with anyone who feels like posting!

I am now 17 weeks pregnant with my fourth and am having a terrible time with crushing headcahes...is anyone else getting this?

Hello!

I'm currently 17 weeks with baby number 1 too, and have been suffering with TERRIBLE headaches since about 9 weeks. spoke to my midwife and apparently its just "one of those things" that can happen when pregnant, and to just grin and bear it. Paracetamol & rest is the best way to overcome the headaches when they attack i think. But don't worry, its fine. you only need to be slightly concerned later in pregnancy when it can be an early sign of preclampsia, but again, not always the case, you and me could just be some of the few who unfortunately suffer with headaches from beginning to end
Take care
