randdom just because others are going through 'worse' doesn't mean your problems are not just as real and important.

So far so good baby still has heartbeat and no labour signs. I'm trying not to look too far ahead but if this keeps up for weeks then there may be some hope.
My fantastic consultant isn't in for a few days but he's been calling up to keep an eye on the situation. I'm going to write up a list of queries for him when he's next in as I know he's always open to discussion.

loopylou52 · 06/12/2013 23:00

Good to hear from you little, fantastic to hear there's some hope. Will you be in the hospital for the foreseeable future?

So sorry to hear you're still feeling so poorly randdom. I can't imagine how I'd have coped if the constant nausea was still going on now.

Hezbean · 07/12/2013 11:32

little great news - fingers crossed things keep improving. Glad you have such a great consultant and are bring looked after so well. Hang in there baby!!! Thinking of you.

Randdom hugs to you. How are you feeling today?

Everyone is so lovely and supportive on this thread. I've been reading everyone's posts and feeling the love for the Definitely Maybies :-)

It's 11.30 and I am still in bed. Bliss!!!

FrightFlea · 07/12/2013 13:10

Good news little. You are such a super trooper!

Randomm the sickness is so dreadful. It has only just passed for me. I'm 17 weeks now. Fingers crossed that yours will ease off soon too.

I finished my xmas shopping today. Such a relief. I wanted to get the traisping around town over early incase the PGP started up. So far so good and I wonder if doing the pelvic floor exercises is making the difference this time around. I live in hope.

What I am getting, that is a bit strange, is errattic heartbeats (my own) in the evenings. Searched it on here and seemingly it is common enough due to the increased blood volumne but it feels so weird.

Vikks · 07/12/2013 15:31

Hi All
Will have a catch up read soon but just wanted to share....I'm expecting a daughter! Go team pink!!!! Grin Grin Grin

Xavielli · 07/12/2013 15:41

Yay! Congratulations on your little girl x

moobaloo · 07/12/2013 15:48

little and alyss HUGE positive thoughts to you both, you are truly amazing people xxx

Vikks is this our first girl? Congratulations!! So exciting

FrightFlea I'm also getting the weird heartbeat, when I've just got into bed usually, I can feel it really clearly in my chest and it's so odd! I also get easily breathless, i.e. running from the bathroom to bed (because it's cold!) gets me out of breath and then my heart is pounding away for ages!

16 week appt on Tues, at 17+1, hoping to hear heartbeat!

I have def got a bump now, it's big, it's round, it's getting more solid by the day! I went out last night in a bump showing outfit for the first time as I can no longer hide under big jumpers without looking big. Weird but exciting!

Sending love and positive thoughts and good wishes to everyone xxx

impatientlywaiting · 07/12/2013 16:19

Congratulation Vikks, fab news. Team pink is go!

moominleigh94 · 07/12/2013 16:44

Congrats Vikks! Everyone's telling me I'm having a girl... based on the way I'm carrying/my sickness/my cravings/them just plain wanting it to be a girl.

Sooo close to the scan now... really hope they'll tell me Grin

SicknSpan · 07/12/2013 17:16

I agree Hezbean this is a lovely thread, very welcoming and friendly.

moobaloo and frightflea I am getting the weird heartbeat too. Like a little fluttering bird in my chest, which is just how the baby has felt too the 3 times I think I've felt it so far :).

Randomm I hope the nausea eases for you soon. I am still taking a pharmacy full of medication every day to control the sickness, and can really empathise with how all encompassing and depressing feeling sick 24/7 can be. Thanks for you (as long as they aren't too strong smelling ;))

mrsmummytobe · 07/12/2013 18:18

Yay congrats vikks! I'm finding out tomorrow eek!

dobedobedo · 07/12/2013 18:25

Congratulations on your daughter vikks! Grin

Those getting irregular heart beats, I am too. It's quite freaky isn't it?
Hope everyone is well. I'm just home from shopping hell so too tired to say much. Xx

ThistletoeAndWine · 07/12/2013 19:24

Off to a party tonight, wearing a dress and leggings, feeling remarkably round!!!Hmm

mrsmummytobe · 07/12/2013 19:36

Has anyone found good maternity shops for things like dresses & pjs? I've found a few good bits but I've been quite disappointed with what I've found so far. I've got 2 Xmas parties next week & nothing to wear!

Chip86 · 07/12/2013 21:04

mumtobe i know how you feel, I tried to buy at mat dress for a weeding last weekend in the end i got a nice A-line dress for half the price in tesco it was perfect

Why now im pregnat do i want to wear low cut and show of my boobs or skin tight and show my massive wobely bottom or show everyone my non sexy underwear yes Next sell a low cut, skin tight, see through silky dress if its your style go fo it its called neckless dress

mrsmummytobe · 07/12/2013 21:35

Haha chip I feel exactly the same! Was in topshop maternity & tried on a black dress but it was body con & you could see every wobbly bit & my lovely pregnancy knicker line as well!! Uh don't think so! And loads of outfits just look really frumpy & ugly on me! Not tried tesco but I'll give it a go.

bluestone85 · 07/12/2013 21:35

I think we all need a bit of light relief. If you fancy a giggle: m.youtube.com/watch?v=6utEFg4MBOo&desktop_uri=%2Fwatch%3Fv%3D6utEFg4MBOo - I'm pregnant and I know it!

mrsmummytobe · 07/12/2013 21:36

Does next do maternity?

LongTailedTit · 07/12/2013 21:37

mrsmummy I bought this Seraphine dress last week for a wedding I have in February - planning ahead a bit there, I know! Blush

mrsmummytobe · 07/12/2013 21:44

Ooh that's gorgeous longtailedtit! Does john Lewis do maternity wear in store? Haven't tried there!

Hezbean · 07/12/2013 22:28

Gorgeous dress! Love it...

Chip86 · 07/12/2013 22:31

blustone that had me crying with laughter amazing

mumtobe Next on line have a good selection, no shops round hear do mat wear so i have to do it all on line M&S just do underwear and pjs

LongTailedTit · 07/12/2013 22:32

I don't think they have their own range, but they do stock some v nice maternity stuff!

I love JL. Partly because I can get free delivery to the Waitrose store in town, this being the town whose only clothing shop is fecking M&Co.
It's tricky to gauge sizes when pg, especially in places like H&M, I'm in size 16 maternity jeans from there, but my Gap maternity stuff from last time is size 10 and still fits fine. Confused

Chip86 · 07/12/2013 22:35

Wow John Lewis have the best range i have seen
I like the mat scarf hehehe i know we have baby brain but really cant i buy a normal scarf it will still fit hehehe
But first online store i have seen who do coats
Thank u longtailedtit i will save this link

LongTailedTit · 07/12/2013 22:37

Yay! Glad it's so popular! Grin

There'll be a small army of us out there all wearing the same dress to formal functions... :)
