The maybies are in the second trimester and (hopefully) entering the blooming phase just in time for a cozy Christmas. Thread no 5?!

Alyss Thanks thinking of you x

LittleBairn · 05/12/2013 16:41

Alyssa I'm so sorry I hope it work out for you. In my job as a nanny my boss had a Proms around 16/17 weeks and both her twins survived.

So far my baby is sticking around healthy heartbeat today at scan still has sac and a bit of water, something Noah never had of I wasn't dilated this baby would have better odds of survival.

Such a roller coaster.

Xavielli · 05/12/2013 16:43

Wow. Keeping everything crossed for you little. You too alyss, I hope there's things that can be done for twin Thanks xxx

bushprincess · 05/12/2013 17:37

little sounds like you have a fighter in there. I'm hoping with all my heart that he/she manages to hold on in there...

loopylou52 · 05/12/2013 17:50

oh no alyss, fingers crossed for you and your little one. And little I shall re-cross everything for you and hope and pray for baby little to keep on fighting. What a little star you've got there!

I'm in Reading and they listened to the heartbeat at 16 weeks.

I think I've felt some movements in the last couple of weeks. It feels like little tickles inside. I've also had a few twinges/crampy pains but had assumed that was more stretching - it hadn't occured to me it could be related to movement. Unfortunately I've also had a pulled muscle / bruised feeling in my groin quite a bit over the last couple of weeks which has given me back The Fear about spd/pgp. Hmm

Irisheyessmiling · 05/12/2013 17:54

Thinking of you both little and alyss can't even begin to imagine how you're getting through but so impressed with the strength you have xxxxxx

MrsFooCough · 05/12/2013 18:18

moominleigh94 · 05/12/2013 18:35

We aren't the Maybies, we're the Definitlies - as in, we are ALL definitely sticking around, and we are ALL definitely going to have healthy babies!

Cake and Brew all around!

AlyssInAManger · 05/12/2013 19:04

Thank you all for your well wishes. Thankfully it looks like the twin that is leaking is above the other one, so it still has just enough fluid as the lower one is blocking the entrance to the cervix. I have an appointment first thing tomorrow morning to find out exactly what is going on.

bushprincess · 05/12/2013 20:11

Will be thinking of you until then Alyss hope you can get some rest, although I know sleep is going to be hard. xx

snoozysleeper · 05/12/2013 20:15

LittleBairn · 06/12/2013 06:47

Alyss that's really good news hopefully it continues that way. X

dobedobedo · 06/12/2013 07:31

Good morning.
little and alyss hope your little babies are hanging in there.
I'm off to the docs this morning as they think I've got a kidney infection. And tomorrow dh is dragging me around Milton Keynes to do Xmas shopping. I hate Xmas shopping if it doesn't involve Amazon or sitting on my arse .
Anyone got any better plans for the weekend?

impatientlywaiting · 06/12/2013 08:27

This thread really is like a roller coaster. I couldn't come on for a while yesterday then when I did I was so happy to see your news Little, but then dismayed to see your Alyss.

We need some positive thinking! These babies will be fine. We will have ALL of them in May.

Fingers crossed for you both that the good news continues. Xx

Vikks · 06/12/2013 08:27

Little & Alyss I hope today brings some better news. x

Dobe Good luck at the docs and with the shopping! I’m like you, I try and do most of it sat on my bum at home. I think I've done about 90% online this year but I've still got to hit the shops at some point.
I’m really looking forward to my weekend. Tonight we’re all off to the German Christmas Market in Leeds, tomorrow is our gender scan (DP want to shop straight afterward for some pink or blue clothes!) and then Sunday we’re taking little man to Chatsworth House with the PIL to see all the Christmas displays.

Moomin I’m with you, no more ‘Maybies’ from now on.

17 weeks today!! Smile
