Ladies I think we need a new festive thread to take us through to the end of the year. And as it will be me to sneeze next –how did it get around to my turn so quickly???-- I thought I would do the honours.

Is Solars in labour then?

Solars · 09/02/2014 21:11

Haha, Keep & Maybe I think I've still a while to go yet!

Pen great news on the physio appointment sounds like it's really helped already!

Too hope you get that consultant appointment of yours sorted out.

Stacks how was the scan?

How is everyone else?

Not much to report just plodding along. Still waiting for a few deliveries of baby stuff so hoping they come soon! But they're more nice to have stuff than anything essential! Have had a few visitors before the arrival recently which is nice and lots of lovely gifts for the baby! He's a very lucky boy!

Solars · 09/02/2014 21:12

I forgot yo say Musical did you get a BFP?? If so congratulations lovely Thanks

SantaMaybe · 09/02/2014 21:38

Glad all is well Solars, how lovely to be having visitors and gifts. Hope all your bits come soon. How are you feeling?

Pen I'm glad your physio went so well. Time really is marching on isn't it.

We had our NCT course this weekend. It was hardcore, all day yesterday and today, but was quite good fun. It's funny, as all the little milestones are passing now, I remember thinking 'once we have done NCT, she will nearly be here' Grin.

musicalmrs · 09/02/2014 21:45

How exciting Solars :) Your sneeze birth is so close!

I did get a BFP, about a week ago.. but it's still veryveryvery early days. No bleeding yet, which had happened by this point last time, so keeping everything crossed...

Maybe, I love how the milestones fly by! How's the decorating going?

Wondering if I can justify claiming an early scan as a work expense... Wink. After all, I have a lot of potential events in Sept/Oct that would need shuffling.. (am aware I'm clutching at straws!).

Solars · 09/02/2014 22:09

I'm hoping all our births will be something like

I'm feeling ok thanks Maybe. Lots of the girls in our nct class have given birth now, only 2 of us left. Hope you've got a nice group of ladies in your nct class. Not long for you now either!!

Musical that's really good to hear about your BFP, so pleased for you! Hope it's a very uneventful pregnancy and the scan is a totally justifiable expense in my considered opinion.. Smile

TooExtraImmatureCheddar · 10/02/2014 09:04

Solars, love that link!

Musical, can't you ask the EPU/MW for a free scan after all the bleeding last time? You might get a referral no bother.

Stacks · 10/02/2014 18:36

Quick post as you dropped off my threads list. Been busy with DS teething and having a cold, and now I've got the cold :( Will catch up when he's in bed.

SantaMaybe · 10/02/2014 21:55

Brilliant Solars Grin There is a nice group at our NCT, how exciting that most of yours have had their babies!

Too makes a good point Musical, may be worth seeing if you can get a scan from the EPU.

Sorry to hear your poorly Stacks. Hope you get a good sleep.

keepitgoing · 11/02/2014 09:05

I see my Nct group once or twice a week. I'd be mad (der) otherwise. we only really started meeting after the births as everyone's ml and babies came at diff times. we have a standing Monday morning arrangement and whoever comes comes. it's great.

SantaMaybe · 11/02/2014 10:29

Ah, that's lovely Keep! We have our breast feeding session next week, so will see everyone then. I think a good few of us are on leave already, so may be meeting up before babies arrive.

Is it ever going to stop raining? I want to walk the pup.

keepitgoing · 11/02/2014 11:04

snowing here!! how are you spending ml maybe? how long do you have off work?

SantaMaybe · 11/02/2014 11:08

I'm so jealous Keep!!

Well, last week was crazy busy with decorating and flat pack building with a trip to the zoo thrown in for good measure. I did a load of housework yesterday and had 34 week appointment. I wanted to do lots of walking with the dog, but it really would help if the water weren't waist high in the field!! I'm not expected back till march 2015. But it is a possibility that I won't go back

keepitgoing · 11/02/2014 12:00

ooh that's great maybe. you've not spent much of your pregnancy at work hey Wink Wink

keepitgoing · 11/02/2014 12:02

I was talking to my american friend yesterday. they rarely get more than six WEEKS off. I couldn't imagine leaving such a tiny baby. they have to express on the loos

I have just dies all my cheeky wipes greenish in the wash. nice.

SantaMaybe · 11/02/2014 12:20

Not massive amounts Keep! Was signed off from week 10 to week 18, and then worked till week 33. America is crazy isn't it? I couldn't imagine a) leaving a newborn so soon, or b) actually being able to function Grin

keepitgoing · 11/02/2014 12:32

true. I'm only just starting to feel I'm not in a fog. I'd be rubbish at work!

keepitgoing · 11/02/2014 12:32

note to preggos: your thread has nearly ended...

DinoSnores · 11/02/2014 15:32

I've started throwing up now. Not even 7/40 yet, so it is quite a thought to think that I have another 33 weeks of this to go hopefully!

I contacted the scan dept yesterday to ask them about my 8 week scan and they said they'd not received the referral. My (very good) GP surgery said it was faxed a couple of weeks ago but they've done it again so hopefully it will all begin to happen now.

SantaMaybe · 11/02/2014 19:21

Sorry it's started again Dino. What a nightmare with the scan, but glad you're getting it sorted.

I suppose I should start a new thread. Though this scares me slightly, as this is when I shall be sneezing Shock
