Ladies I think we need a new festive thread to take us through to the end of the year. And as it will be me to sneeze next –how did it get around to my turn so quickly???-- I thought I would do the honours.

Trix I am so excited for you, I really hope you get a good nights sleep and that everything goes quickly and smoothly for you tomorrow.

Munxx · 05/01/2014 21:54

Good luck Trix I was induced for medical reasons at 38 weeks and it was a fab birth. It's funny isn't it settling down for the evening knowing that the baby will be here tomorrow, or the next day by the latest!

Cannot wait to hear your announcement and read your birth story. Your newborn is almost here. I am so very happy for you.

EverythingIsTicketyBoo · 06/01/2014 15:22

Nothing at all? Have you had your pessary? Thinking of you xx

cartoontrickster · 06/01/2014 15:24

had the pessary at around 10.30. a few bump tightenings but that's it. I'm not expecting anything until tomorrow now.

EverythingIsTicketyBoo · 06/01/2014 15:33

It can all change very quickly you know, plus you never know what might be going on 'in there' could be that this pessary is paving the way for a super start after your next pessary! Brooking for you xx

SantaMaybe · 06/01/2014 15:39

Brooking hard Trix. Hope you're not too bored yet.

TooExtraImmatureCheddar · 06/01/2014 17:12

Go, Trix, go! When will they give you next pessary/other drugs to get things moving?

EverythingIsTicketyBoo · 06/01/2014 17:14

By my reckoning any time now Too, I was told I could have up to 3 pessaries 6-8 hours apart :)

Hope you're ok Trix

SweetieTime · 06/01/2014 17:57

they will give me a new pessary tomorrow I think. they leave them in for 24 hours. it seems to be different if its not your first baby though. I think you can have pessaries closer together like boo says. its just a waiting game really. thank you all for your kind messages of support.

Solars · 06/01/2014 19:06

Trix apparently, we were told at our antenatal class that a lot of babies arrive during the night! something to do with when we were cave people and it was safer to give birth during the night due to predators not lurking around so much!! So I'm hoping things will start kicking off overnight for you!! xx

TheLittleFriend · 06/01/2014 19:08

Well done so far Trix, it may seem to be taking a while, but you're a lot closer to meeting baby now x
