Congratulations, Loki! You're hardcore getting from 6cm to baby with so little pain relief Grin hope you get some sleep/let out of hospital soon. Do you have a name for little girl yet? Smile

Congratulations Loki!!! Very exciting that the babies are coming. Are you next Alyssa?

UpTheFRIGGinDuff · 29/11/2013 08:21

Congratulations Loki!!! Flowers

Wards suck when I had DD I had to stay overnight and there was some poor woman who'd just had a C-section and couldn't bloody move, her baby was screaming and she was ringing for the nurse but no-one came,in the end I got up and gave her the baby about 6 times
Urgh,I'd forgot on about that.

I'm 39 weeks today!
DD was born at 8:30 at this exact gestation, and DS was born at 39+4...

I've been having niggly pains all night, and back ache,no bloody show though, and the contractions aren't getting stronger,I had this with DS,for about 3 days befor I actually went into labour.
I'm going to call the midwife today and see if they'll check me over...

MildredH · 29/11/2013 08:24

Wow congratulations Loki!

Hope you managed a bit of sleep.. Are they likely to let you home today?

Xx

13loki · 29/11/2013 09:22

They don't want to let her home for 24 hours because she is big. She isn't that much bigger than her elder siblings were. She is also feeding better than they did. She is only 4.36 kg, which is about 9lb10 I think.

The other woman in the room has her phone on full volume and vibrate, so I can't even rest. The TV in the day room is on a channel that only does shows in swedish, so I can't watch TV. I didn't sleep because I was too worried that Älfi would cry and wake up the other baby and mum. I miss my other kids, but it's too hard to have them visit in here. 3yo came in but it was mayhem.

UpTheFRIGGinDuff · 29/11/2013 09:26

Well,if you think she's fine, and you want to home,I'd just bloody leave if I was you...
you're an experienced mother, she's feeding well..she's not that big and I'm sure you'd know if something was up and bring her back in.

Go home and get some decent sleep! Flowers

(Gorgeous name btw!)
