I'm awake too... I'm making a birth prep book thing with pictures to distract me and notes about what's going on at each stage and breathing exercises etc and have got a bit obsessive about making it lovely! Did nothing at all really to prepare last time, and have gone completely the other way this time Grin

Roselau · 23/11/2013 02:32

i can keep you company :) with the 8hr time difference here, it's 630pm - waiting for DP to come home from work, I'm making roast chicken, and potatoes but I'm starving. so munching on veggies while I'm waiting because I know we'll go out this weekend and I never eat healthy when I'm out (chips have been my big weakness). But I'm quite jealous of all the take-out action I read about.

Had a lovely nap this afternoon (I'm not a napper so it's always a pleasant surprise when I can sleep a little), I'm not too sure where the day has gone...

I hope you all get to sleep, and if you dont that you at least have time to nap tomorrow.

Extra- that sounds great. Any distraction will help I guess? I'm so tempted to listen to my hypno birthing app to try and relax back to sleep but requires crashing about to find headphones which I think would wake DH & make him grumpy!!

Rose- it's mental that its dinner time with you. Time differences are just one of those things I find so hard to get my head around!!

For what it's worth I've had TWO chip mesls today alone Confused. Pub lunch then fish & chip supper. Feel a little greasy and in need of fruit now!

MildredH · 23/11/2013 02:56

Sorry didn't see your post snow.. Wow- Japan! Can I be really nosy and ask how you ended up living there?

PistachioTruffle · 23/11/2013 03:05

Hello awake people Sad I dropped off at 12.30 and have just woken with a jolt after some hideous dreams. I will not miss this part one bit!

MildredH · 23/11/2013 03:08

Hi pistachio. It sucks doesn't it.

PistachioTruffle · 23/11/2013 03:21

It certainly does! I think it's the dreaming that irritates me most, I'm sure if I didn't have such horrible vivid ones I'd still be asleep. I'm not looking forward to the effects of exhaustion post birth either, poor feather's hallucinations sound awful! At least I no longer have to get up for work though, that's something!

BohemianRaspberry · 23/11/2013 03:39

Okay so tonight have nausea, wind, acid reflux and lightheadedness all striking at once. And a mild panic attack. Why why why.

PistachioTruffle · 23/11/2013 03:43

Oh Bohemian, you poor thing Flowers is there something in the water tonight? I ve now got a raging thirst and heartburn too.

BohemianRaspberry · 23/11/2013 04:00

Think it might be. Got cramping too but can't tell if it's wind or BH. Feel like I want to throw up but don't know if encouraging matters is a good idea. And just want to sit on toilet for next week.

Now I'm all shakey. Blurgh.

violetbean · 23/11/2013 05:24

Bohemian hope you feel better soon. Heartburn-induced insomnia here. Sigh.

froubylou · 23/11/2013 06:18

Morning all

DP just going to work. Have had a coffee and an apple Danish thing in bed and hopefully will go back to sleep for a couple of hours.

Love my dp but love my bed to myself sometimes!

Alyssa1978 · 23/11/2013 08:04

music the insomnia is awful, I get a good couple hours and then I get so
restless I just want to get up.
Let's hope bump runs out of room and you give birth slightly early Hun.

chelsea the letters sound so lovely, I can't knit either lol.

crunchy I've used gaviscon double (mint flavour in a pink bottle) for my heartburn, its been a godsend and I have been carrying Rennies ice (the tablets) round with me, been having to take 2 at a time as its really bad now.

Yay whisper even though you only got the one, its exciting isnt it? Smile

Alyssa1978 · 23/11/2013 08:18

bohemian how you feeling? The only good thing I found for me about being sick when pregnant, is once its up then you feel a bit better and not really sick anymore.

How long have you lived in Japan snow

I'm having the usual cramps getting worse this morning but I've learnt these ones are toilet cramps and once I go so do they lol.

Ah both kids got their hairs cut yesterday and now look so cheeky and decided to act this way too Confused and I had a major shout at a lady in a shopping centre while dp looked on horrified.
Ds1 had just jumped into a big bauble to sit and immediately a lady with a girl older came and stood/glared at him as the kid wanted to get in so dp was telling my son to get straight out so this ladies kids could get in..... No friggin way!! So I just stood there and not even 10 seconds later the women at the top of her voice said to her kid come on let's go then while giving me a filthy look Angry
Tried not to Wink but ended up shouting at full belt well! I'm sorry but I'm not making my child get out of somewhere to let yours in come back here if you've got a fucking problem with it Confused

Ooh the hormones, don't think anyone's gonna miss them Grin

MildredH · 23/11/2013 08:48

How you feeling bohemian?

I must've dropped back off about 3.30-4am. So annoying to have crappy night at weekend when I really want to enjoy spending time with DH who's at work all week.

Need to see the out laws today too which I need all my patience for! Lol.

mumoftwoboysS · 23/11/2013 09:17

Morning insomniacs! I was awake from about 3.30-4.30 and nearly picked up my phone to say hi but must have fallen asleep. Baby was kicking SO much last night and with limbs sticking out everywhere it looked like he/she was trying to escape.

God dodgy gut this morning- anyone else? Kind of crampy and sorry if tmi it's like sludge. Not sure if it's just late preg bowels being squashed/kicked a lot? I guess I can put up with if for a month if I have to...

extracrunchy · 23/11/2013 09:29

Yep m sounds pretty classic... I'm enjoying sludge too Grin

extracrunchy · 23/11/2013 09:29

(That was "yep mum")

Alyssa1978 · 23/11/2013 09:36

Yep me too mum normally goes away just before dinner time. Feeling sick again now so may have to just get it over and done with Sad

MildredH · 23/11/2013 09:42

Yep me too mum. Feel a bit gurgly but with my sore bottom ( piles) I am trying to avoid.. Which may just get me into a vicious circle.

39 weeks today and the glamour increases day by day Wink

MrsShrubs · 23/11/2013 10:07

37 weeks today Smile

Woken up full of cold today though boo! Hope everyone is feeling slightly better this morning.

whisper I went to see the hunger games last night too and was exactly the same when I walked out, didn't want to go to the loo halfway through though!

WhisperMen · 23/11/2013 10:21

haha mrsshrubs my DP said he could tell I enjoyed the film because I hadn't gone to pee during it Grin

Sorry to all the people not sleeping. I don't seem to have any trouble once I am actually asleep thankfully. It just takes me about 3 bloody hours to actually fall asleep. I've taken to getting into bed at 8.30. I'm such a party animal these days...

I would have slapped that woman alyssa bloody cheek of her!

I feel rubbish today. Baby is jabbing me in the foof whenever I walk. I really want this to be the start of something because if I have to go 3 or more weeks with this I will not be happy. This end bit is really miserable and tiring isn't it?

Alyssa1978 · 23/11/2013 10:27

It certainly is whisper I keep thinking if I go over then I could have at least another 3/4 weeks instead of one...noooooooo Grin
She's lucky I was pregnant or she wouldve gotten a slap lol.

Have a good days everyone xx

froubylou · 23/11/2013 10:53

Well I didn't get up until 9 am. That's from 7pm last night! Result lol.

It's getting to the point of not being funny anymore isn't it this pregnancy thing.

Having odd little symptoms and think my body is gearing up for giving birth. Had pmt cramps, bhs increasing in intensity, baby either quiet or trying to climb out my belly button, that coloured discharge the other day. Had the same sprt of runny nose as when I was in first trimester and also when I blow my nose there is a bit of blood.

Bowels very slow though. No sludge to report but tempted to have a curry tonight to cure that. But I do keep getting sharp pains in my groin.

Boobs gone really sore again too. And bizarre dreams are back.

I hope I'm not going to go early. Baby has moved back up high and I am sure he's still breech so going early would be an emcs. Am prepared for an elcs but an emcs would be stressful for dp and dd. DD is staying with my mum while I'm in hospital so DP can concentrate on me and baby and mum works so don't want to put her out too much.

Hopefully on Monday when I have my scan they should give me a date so I can get organised.

Bohemian hope you are feeling better.

And alyssa I would have done the same ad you. Silly cow lol.
