You're all mean! I have loads of treats in the cupboard but now the stepkids are here I'm gonna have to wait till they're in bed!
Congratulations Feather Im sorry it took so long, was sure I'd posted before!

froubylou · 22/11/2013 19:21

Sorry everyone.

Was so excited I had to share with you all.

Look away now if you don't want to know what I had.

I had one of those scorcher box meals with a maltesers krushems. It was vair vair naice lol.

Now in bed. DP working early in morning so will be able to have a lovely lie in without having to feel him fidget about or watching tv. Bliss.

Had no more funny discharge but had a few bhs that ease off when I move and the odd period pain but nothing else.

Bought a new dressing gown today though to finish hospital bag just in case lol.

itsliz · 22/11/2013 19:40

Ahhh, see I can deal with that frouby but if it was a Milkybar krushem then it would've been a very different story Grin

WhisperMen · 22/11/2013 19:44

milky bar krushems are the best thing in the whole world liz

Dasie · 22/11/2013 19:44

Thanx Whisper & Its didn't realise they were so cheap so think I'll buy one tomoro to try out! Smile

Deya · 22/11/2013 20:04

Sorry girls, but am well pleased to know how crappy you're all sleeping/ feeling as I don't feel so alone in my agony now.
Yesterday nearly died while buying birthday presents for my DH. He's a big kid and would NEVER forgive me if I was to overlook his birthday. I mean camoooon, surely this year could be an exception? My birthday is on 16th of Dec and I surely don't give a damn about it.
Anyways, spent 4 hours out shopping ( at least 3 hours of which were spent waddling slowly, huffing, puffing, sitting down on every bench available and buying some big comfy pants for myself ). Got presents. And agonizing pains in my back, pelvis and legs. Couldn't sleep at night as everything hurt so bad! As soon as I started drifting off to dreamland, hubby started snoring. He narrowly avoided me poking his eyes out and torching his fecking presents. I did move myself to sofa and slammed the door to make a point ( I know...but such tiredness and pain makes people do things ).
Arrrgh...and to add to that, midwife was visiting this morning to talk birth. I felt like I've done the birth already and she's too late round. I need that baby out now. 37 weeks on Sunday and that's it - bun comes out of the oven!

Chelsealady · 22/11/2013 20:19

My very posh but very lovely next door neighbour just left a gucci changing bag in my porch with a letter saying "only used it a few times i would like you to have it love Pam". How lovely!

Liz I keep thinking im damp for the past 3 days I check and it feels wet but i dont know if its just a bit of discharge or if im leaking? Im going to be checked Mon so hopefully some more good news and hopefully dilated more than 2 bloody cm!!!

To all of you having a nice takeaway i have just had chrispy duck and springrolls from chineese nomnomnom! Enjoy your dinners :)

extracrunchy · 22/11/2013 20:28

It's Domino's night here! And potato wedges. Nom.

Chelsea that's very sweet of your neighbour!

I've also been feeling wet - keep running to the toilet thinking I've leaked - but it's just normal stuff...

Stom91 · 22/11/2013 20:45

So jealous of all your takeaways.
I have super noodles :/ haha

Alyssa1978 · 22/11/2013 21:01

WhisperMen · 22/11/2013 21:05

oooh oooh oooh I think I just had my first ever contraction! it won't come to anything I know but I got excited non the less Grin

UpTheFRIGGinDuff · 22/11/2013 21:13

Oooh! Did it start in your back and move around to your belly?!

WhisperMen · 22/11/2013 21:17

it did it totally did and felt like someone was giving me a bear hug. so bizarre

PistachioTruffle · 22/11/2013 21:28

Ooh exciting stuff Whisper!

I've got cheesy potato wedges followed by mince pies while watching Harry Potter, but I'm how tempted to get back on the ball and see what happens!

UpTheFRIGGinDuff · 22/11/2013 21:29

Ooh that is a proper one Whisper

Exciting!

WhisperMen · 22/11/2013 21:42

there haven't been any more Sad just an achey pelvis. It was all very exciting for a few minutes there.

violetbean · 22/11/2013 22:08

omg, Dominos totally failed. Ordered at 8ish online. Phoned them at 9pm to ask when pizza was arriving. They said it would be another hour! Angry My DH's poor gran was almost fainting with hunger (I had offered her some snacks but she said no) and so we just cancelled the pizza, DH ran to the local shop and got some frozen pizzas that we stuck in the oven. Just finished dinner, everyone a bit grumpy but at least all fed! Grrr, can't believe Dominos didn't ring us to say it would be 2 hours, could have saved so much hassle. We may take our pizza order elsewhere next time... (rant over)

Exiting news whisper!

Hope you are all doing ok and have a good night's sleep.

extracrunchy · 22/11/2013 22:15

Ugh Violet there is nothing more upsetting than the promise of a Domino's just being snatched away! And they never do vouchers or anything when they mess up. Very very annoying!!

I'm getting horrid heartburn now - having had none at all till now! Ouch. Feel very sorry for those of you who've suffered throughout!

Chilli81 · 22/11/2013 22:23

Hello all. Just about caught up I think.
Welcome MsRatty
whisper that's very exciting about contractions. I've had nothing not even BH but then I never got those last time either.
On the other hand I have had about 5 poos today after months of constipation (I take it we are still on the tmi amnesty). Not sure if it s a clear out and I should be getting excited or I've just eaten something dodgy.
A friend who specialises is fertility and pregnancy acupuncture did some on me last night so it could be the result of that. Who knows.
Feather that's great about BF. Especially since the colostrum is supposed to be so good for them. You;ve reminded me I need to get some Lanisoh asap.
All the takeaway talk made me very jealous. My DP hates takeaway. He's an absolute health fiend so we hardy ever get takeaway. Boooo!

Chelsealady · 22/11/2013 22:24

Crunchy if it gets to much ask your Dr to prescribe you something (cant be bothered to get off my ass and find mine to tell you the name, Sorry Ha!) I know it sounds drematic saying If it gets too much but seriously it keeps me up all night i cant even lay down when i havent had any tablets.

I thought instead of sitting around sulking because the hospital ordered me to be in bed rest i would take up a hobby. I cant knit... So that was out the window so i ordered 3 large freestanding letters off ebay for £3.99 and have started decorating them. ISN (the babies enitials) iv stuck assorted pink buttons bows flowers diamonds all over them and actually very proud as they look very proffesional :)

Hope everyone gets a great night sleep (dreaming abit i no...lol).

Chelsealady · 22/11/2013 22:27

By the way my spelling is terrible i do apologise i basicly taught myself to spell. The great kicks of having a mother who doesnt give to flying *** about sending you to school!

MissRatty · 22/11/2013 22:50

chealsealady the crafting sounds very cool! I'm knitting baby hedgehogs...just to keep my hands busy and stop me eating so much!

Baby has been quite quiet today, still wriggling, but seems to have mived so his back is against my belly (which is good apparently?). I have an anterior placenta so a lot of the movements I can barely feel...i'm much better off just watching my tum!

Hope everyone sleeps well. X

musiceverywhere · 23/11/2013 01:06

Hi all, can't believe it's been so long since I posted! Has been crazy here with house renovations ongoing. I thought starting mat leave at 34 weeks would give me time to relax! (not a chance).
Lovely to hear of some births already, v jealous tbh as I've been told (now at 37 wks) that bump is headed towards reaching 10lb+ at 40 wks Shock (had growth scan last wk). So I'd be happy with slightly early arrival!
Definitely getting fed up now- and the insomnia is a pita Hmm Anyone else in same boat re: large estimated birth weight?
Will try and do better with posting as will definitely need support in the coming weeks! Hope everyone ok and hi to late/newcomers.

froubylou · 23/11/2013 01:27

Insomnia definitely a bitch music lol.

And the size of your baby at 40 weeks would have me panicked too lol.

Trying to convince dp that I heard a funny noise downstairs so he goes and checks. And brings me a drink up lol.

MildredH · 23/11/2013 02:12
