Glad it's settling bludgerwitch. Can someone who knows how to do it add me to the list EDD 3/06/14.
Thanks

VickyVix · 28/10/2013 13:47

Fingers crossed all is ok bludger

And hope today goes well for you london and PJen

Welcome to the newbies, so many June babies :)

I'm suffering with achey type feelings today, have had them for about 3 days, hopefully it's just everything stretching and getting ready.......really doesn't help when it just feels like period pains though, it just makes me worry that something will go wrong - so stressful!

Gilly which app do you have? Mine has reliably informed me today that Sprout is 1.6cm long and weighs 1 whole gram! Grin

MTMD · 28/10/2013 14:10

My achy tummy is different from period pains in that my period pains were much more concentrated in particular spot and would often radiate towards my legs - so much i would struggle to walk without pain relief. I read this morning that at 7wks uterus is the size of a grapefruit so perhaps mine decided to reach that size in one day. Really painful!

bludgerwitch · 28/10/2013 14:39

Well, I've spoken to another nice young GP (every time I phone it's a different mid-20ies locum) and she phoned the obstetrics unit for me - I should observe it but as it's a one-off and seems to be abating it is probably harmless. If it reoccurs or gets worse I can ring the day obstetrics clinic myself.

I'm also off sick for a few weeks now, which hopefully will help my bp settle a bit.

MarlenaGru · 28/10/2013 14:42

That sounds promising bludger

LondonSuperTrooper · 28/10/2013 14:44

Ladies, thanks for your positive vibes. Midwife has rang me back and I've now got an appointment for a scan on Wednesday afternoon. Expecting the worst really as my bleeding is heavier now.

Phen & Bludger my thoughts are with you both.

ThreeFromDesire · 28/10/2013 15:02

Great news bludger, hope London and pjen are soon to hear good things also x

bludgerwitch · 28/10/2013 15:07

I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you, London!

littlepickly · 28/10/2013 15:14

Glad all seems to be ok bludger

Really sorry to hear that london sending hugs and thoughts are with you.

MTMD i too have a really achey tummy - has just started since lunchtime - feels like I have been holding myself tense - maybe also that my jeans are too tight....already! Blush

MarlenaGru · 28/10/2013 15:40

Oh London lots of positive thoughts for you, and of course bludger and Pjen too
littlepickly I am wearing jeans today and feel like someone is constantly pressing on my belly eventhough my jeans aren't too tight. I just want to wear dresses all the time.

LadyGoneGaga · 28/10/2013 16:13

Thinking of you, bludger and pjen and london. Bleeding in pregnancy is utterly terrifying. Hope it all works out. Awful having to wait for a scan - I think they should really fit women with bleeding and so on in. As to whether to work or rest, when I had bleeding with my son, I rested in bed until it stopped. He ended up being ok. I tried to carry on with my second pregnancy (due to having an active toddler) and lost it (despite us seeing a heartbeat (alongside an area of active bleeding). Although I may have lost it anyway I wish I didn't have those "What if" thoughts. Do what you think is best for you but please put yourselves first over work etc as no one else will.

It is our first wedding anniversary today and we've just been for a very posh meal out. Avoided having any booze until they all of a sudden presented us with a surprise glass of pink champagne and some wonderful sweets served on a Happy Anniversary board at the end of the meal. I had the tiniest bit of champagne but it really tasted vile so DH is now a bit tipsy!

seatfor5 · 28/10/2013 16:37

Hope all will be ok London & Bludger it is so scary even with a little bleed. I always thought the EPU would see people sraight away but mine only opens from 1- 4 so my scan is tomorrow. I am only having a small amount of pink when I wipe so hoping that all is ok.

spinningirl10 · 28/10/2013 16:38

Thinking of you, London, PJen and Bludgen....hope everything is ok for you all. It doesn't seem right to have to wait till Wednesday for a scan!

Liquidambar · 28/10/2013 16:55

so sorry to hear about the bleeding. thinking of you bludger pjen London and seat. It must be distressing. Try to rest as much as you can. Hugs

spinningirl10 · 28/10/2013 17:25

Sorry Seat, I missed you off, hope all goes well for you tomorrow

CleverOl10 · 28/10/2013 17:39

Fx for all with bleeds. Hope all goes well and will be thinking of you.

wispaxmas · 28/10/2013 18:20

Gosh, I hope everyone's ok. I don't like all this bleeding. Settle down, beans, stay sticky!

Anyone with doctor appts today, how did they go?

Gilly, enjoy Paris! I want to go to Disney, but I don't know what we'd do with the dog.

SarahAnderson · 28/10/2013 18:55

EURGH, I've had a shithouse day at work today and wish I could take time off tomorrow to look after a baby (as opposed to looking after a roughly blueberry-sized embryo, which is what I would be doing if I stayed home tomorrow). Days like this make me think, "I could just not come back for a while after its born..." even though I am really committed to coming back to work soonish. Ah well, at least that's one upside of having to carry the baby, you get the 'fuck it, I'll just quit' fantasy.

Stacks · 28/10/2013 19:06

Just checking in to the new thread, about to have dinner. I've noticed I'm on the list twice - once with due date and at the bottom with ??. Not too confusing really, but messes up the count of how many of us there are.

Back in a bit after reading back.

Stacks · 28/10/2013 19:18

So sorry to read of hose with bleeding. When I spoke to the epu to book my scan they said not to worry unless I had bleeding lasting more than 48hrs. That implies shorter time is ok - I hope that can put some minds at rest a bit. I have my fingers, toes and legs crossed for you all. Hugs.

Beckala · 28/10/2013 19:21

So sad, wish my sickness back. Im bleeding light saturday & sunday, dark red with tiny clots today so scared. I dont want to go the hospital just dont know what to do im to sad to move.

SarahAnderson · 28/10/2013 19:32

Oh Beckala, I'm so sorry. You poor thing. Thoughts with you.

MarlenaGru · 28/10/2013 19:42

So sorry beckala

LadyGoneGaga · 28/10/2013 19:46

Beckala I would call your midwife team, GP should give you the number if you haven't been booked yet, and they can refer to the EPU. Or you may be able to self refer depending on area. So sorry you are going through this Sad.

cheesysmile · 28/10/2013 19:49

Oh gosh so sorry to those with bleeding, im thinking of you all and so hope it turns out ok for you. Let us know how you get on with scans. Beckala call the midwife, they'll get you a scan Flowers

Just wanted to say hi Nelly, think you were on the early mc thread I was on too! Nice to have you here Smile

I've had a bit of a rubbish day today, felt queasy in the morning, had manic day at work, tummy been pretty dodgy all day, have a kinda sharpish pain in left side and generally uber tired. Oh and my nipples have never been so sensitive ... moan moan moan, feels like thats all I do at the moment Grin

Enjoy Paris Gilly! Sounds like great fun.
