RaRa how exciting for you Smile Oh you ladies seeing heartbeats are making me want that early scan!

Lady thats why I did a few tests, I wanted to see that 1-2wks turn into a 3+ and then I was feeling a bit worried last week so did my last test, got a really strong line even before the other line was there which helped to settle my nerves. Probably is a bit silly but I had the tests and it made me feel better so hey ho.

Bee good news on the scan date ... I so want mine!

cheesysmile · 22/10/2013 22:29

Goodluck for Friday Wispa, not long now! Smile

ohcluttergotme · 23/10/2013 06:20

Morning all!
How exciting for those hearing heartbeats and the possibility of twins...wow!
Another 4am start for me but if I can just get thru work today then I'm off until Monday as just work part-time so almost there!
Hope you all have a good day and not feeling too rubbish Smile

GillyBillyWilly · 23/10/2013 07:06

Yay for twins and yay for heartbeats! Smile
Unfortunately I've also been awake since about 4am and feeling so sick I can't even lift my head or attempt to talk to DH.
Struggling to even type this on my phone.
Booking appt this afternoon. Hope I'm feeling better by then!

ohcluttergotme · 23/10/2013 07:48

I feel so ill, didn't feel like this with other 2 pregnancies so not sure what it means (if anything)
I keep getting a sharp pain in my left side, does anyone else get this or know what it might be?

WooWooCaChoo · 23/10/2013 07:50

Hello everyone, can I join? I'm due on the 1st of June, the same date I was due with my PFB!

Stacks · 23/10/2013 08:25

Clutter, you can get cramping on the side that made the fertilised egg was released from. However, if the pain is bad give the pregnancy support centre a can, they may bring you in for a scan to check it's not ectopic.

Stacks · 23/10/2013 08:26

Welcome woowoo. How old is your pfb? How are you feeling so far?

adaloveslace · 23/10/2013 08:58

Another out'n'proud repeat tester here, Gaga and Sarah. I did my fourth (and last) ClearBlue Digi today because I think I'm 7+5 and my symptoms are so all over the place. I wanted to make sure it was still reading 3+ and that nothing has gone wrong. It was, thankfully.

I was extremely tired yesterday and really hungry, today I'm feeling full of energy and have no interest in food, except for water and watermelons. (Though that could be to do with the heat - it was 33 degrees here today...)

Welcome woowoo

WooWooCaChoo · 23/10/2013 09:03

He's 3 but will be 4 by the time the baby comes along, I just hope they don't have to share a birthday.

I'm a repeat tester as well, it's just so tempting at this stage to just make sure you read it properly the 1st, 2nd and 3rd time!

Stacks · 23/10/2013 09:05

I've held off repeat testing, though I have 48 tests in the house! I think about testing again quite often, but in reality it's just too much hassle. DS (10 months) comes to the toilet with me, and it's hard enough keeping him away from everything while I'm trying to pee!

GillyBillyWilly · 23/10/2013 09:06

Im a repeat tester as well.... Some days I just wake up and think "is this really happening?!" And it helps that I have loads of Internet cheapies left Grin

spinningirl10 · 23/10/2013 09:24

I've used a couple of different brands and I have a clear blue digi left as it was a twin pack so I shall use that in a week or so just to check!! :)

gilly sorry you're feeling so awful.....maybe the docs will have some suggestions for you later. Hope it soon passes for you

Bezzabelle · 23/10/2013 09:59

I did about 4 tests at the beginning but now the constant sickness all day long is enough to assure me that I'm pregnant. Although at my 12 week scan with ds, I did a test that morning as was sure I was going to get there and they were going to say "there's nothing there you crazy woman!!" Despite throwing up 20 times daily then too!!

WooWooCaChoo · 23/10/2013 10:01

Haha I was the same Bezza, it didn't really sink in until he popped out!

Lmf679 · 23/10/2013 10:14

Hi all, I just found this thread, didn't realise there was so many people I could talk to on here! Am due 22nd of June so still early days. This is my first and been feeling ok, I have to eat every couple of hours though, am constantly hungry! Sore breasts and a really strong sense of smell too. Managed to starve off any bad sickness so far though.

I'm not sure when to tell work? I know it's really early but my job is doing events which not only involves international travel but can be quite physical, I have a massive event at the end of nov and one in dec (I'll be 10/11 weeks then). They are putting loads of pressure on me with these events and a bit of me thinks if I tell them they may ease off a bit as i feel myself getting really stressed - it's not just me being a wuss they are ridiculously demanding. Also, they won't think I'm being lazy by not carrying heavy suitcases and boxes up and down stairs. Do you think it's too early to tell them?

Penguin13 · 23/10/2013 10:28

Feeling for all you mums who are pregnant, I'm in awe of how you're all coping, especially with ms thrown into the mix.

Off to get some new bras today - luckily being a relatively modest size normally my boobs that now seem gigantic to me are only slightly above normal size!

Seriously hoping my insomnia sorts itself out soon. I am counting myself very lucky not to be suffering more than mild queasiness but feeling so shattered is getting me down.

MTMD · 23/10/2013 11:25

Has anyone received flu jabs yet? They're doing it at work and just told me its a no no during first trimester :( But that's not what nhs website says and also my GP said it would be ok :/ I had to write "don't tell anyone" on the form next to pregnant y/n but worry my secret might be out even though they tried to be discreet about it..

Bezzabelle · 23/10/2013 11:31

I had my flu jab on sat (was 7 weeks)

MTMD · 23/10/2013 11:39

They rang a Gp who said its up to me so all done now. It's weird to think some people at work know (but hopefully no one from my team sussed it out, fingers crossed).

MrsGasMan · 23/10/2013 11:39

Hi ladies, sorry I haven't been on for a while. Great news on all the scans!

I had some pain yesterday and a little bleeding this morning. Just at home waiting for the GP to call as our EPU isn't self referral.

I did have bleeding in my first pregnancy so
I'm trying to keep upbeat. Hoping they can fit me in for a reassurance scan this week so fingers crossed.

jaykay I think it was you saying about Frimley Park? I had PFB there. Happy for you to message me if you have any questions. I didn't have a brilliant experience but equally not a terrible one, and the antenatal care was great. I'm in Berkshire and am undecided between Frimley again and Royal Berkshire, which has a new midwife led unit that people are raving about.

Sorry to hear all those suffering with ms. I just have exhaustion and am really struggling with work and my little girl :-(

jaykay987 · 23/10/2013 11:42

I agree penguin. I'm exhausted just looking after myself! Smile

I had my gp appointment this morning. She was very nice (phew!) and didnt mention my weight or any negativity at all. So I'm really pleased with that.

I had to pick my hospital - so she could refer me to the right group of midwives. Now I just have to wait for their phone call........

She also sent me for a blood test to check my thyroid (Im already on medication - so they just wanted to check it) plus gave me my prescription for high folic acid (which she didnt realise I needed). I'm glad I'd done some research now!

Overall a good morning! Grin

Told OH last night. I think it's safe to say...it'll take awhile for the news to sink in! He reacted in a way I would react if someone told me they had a 1% chance of being pregnant!Grin

jaykay987 · 23/10/2013 11:44

sorry to hear than mrsgasman. FX tour gp calls soon.

yes - I'll pm you if thats ok!

MrsGasMan · 23/10/2013 11:50

Hmm, just spoke to the gp, she thinks it might be ectopic. Got to go straight down. Wish me luck :-(

MTMD · 23/10/2013 11:53

MrsGasMan good luck!!! Keeping my fingers crossed for you! She can't diagnose ectopic over the phone, surely!
