Hi everybody, hope all is well. There is loads on here as always!!

I am feeling really really huge right now and actually went out today and got another mat. top as I have very little to wear. Also really struggling in the heat!

Booby I am sorry you are feeling bad. I will check out your thread. I have been going through the same thing & I posted about it a while ago in pregnancy but I have to say I didnt get many responses - I hope yours is going well.

purple sorry about your toe!! Something like that happened to me once before... well not nearly as bad, my fingernail which was long, flipped back and I still feel sick to my stomach when I think of it. Nail stuff really hurts.

I'm sure I've missed loads of stuff!

It always cheers me up to come on here and know am not the only huge, ungainly, exhausted, pregnant woman in Britain! Yesterday I was getting a bit paranoid re lack of movement but I think baby just found the Italy v Ukraine game a little tedious. S/he perked up for Big Bro!
I can't face going top the pub to watch England so have told DH he can go--I'm going to be in the park at a kids' party and will listen on the radio

PinkTulips · 01/07/2006 11:49

did someboy mention hormones? ..... just spent all morning from when dd woke at 6.30 til she went down for her nap at 11.30 sobbing. can't seem to deal with anything at the minute, so sore and tired and the thought of having a tiny screaming baby needing attention 24/7 just makes me cry. weird when i think back to this stage with dd i was praying for her to be born, this time i'm willing him to stay put in the hope i'll get some rest before he's born.

think i'll go stuff my face with chocolate and watch crappy sat tv while she's down, times like this i'd kill for a cigarette!

have fun at the wedding booby, hope you find a nice comfy seat right under the a/c

melsy · 01/07/2006 12:00

Morning

awwww pink tulips ((((((((hugs))))))))),yuck isnt it this feeling. Ive been seeing people smooking and thought mmmmmmmm , I gave up nearly 4 yrs ago , but the smell sometimes has made me want one too and normally think YUCK YUCK YUCK!!!

Ive had a right barny wth dh this morning,Ive now been crying non stop for the week. It just sucks this feeling. Glad we can all come on here and metaphorically hold each others hands. Ive even upset everyone on a chat forum I go to for my spiritual side of life. They are sick to death of hearing about it all, over and over this week , I am so , and I pay to be a member there ,but feel I cant go on right now.

Booby have a good day today , did you read our replies on your thread. Prolly havent got time to look today, so hope you have some relief in escape today xx.

Arabica , Im so glad its not just me having a list like that, so glad to know we are not alone in all this feeling. Im getting to the banging fists on sofa stage , as just cant get comfy.

melsy · 01/07/2006 12:06

smoooking !!!

Just realised , your all probably sick of me carrying on every day too .

PinkTulips · 01/07/2006 12:23

don't be silly melsy, we all come on here to moan and complain. it's the one place we can do so without people rolling their eyes at us and getting annoyed. and lord knows you've been having a rough ride recently so whinge to your hearts contents sweetie

melsy · 01/07/2006 12:34

Thank you pt ,I really appreciate you saying that. Im getting paranoid to boot. My therapy deffo has amplified old feelings.

Whats you all up to today ? gotta find a way of chilling out somehow sometime, hope dd will watch footy with daddy PLEEEEEEEAAASE. I need a cool bed , nice chill music and my book.

Otherwise I think me and you PT can have a right crying fest together.

dreamydowler · 01/07/2006 12:36

Hi everyone IM due my baby girl on the 30th August which right now seems a life time away My sister is due any day now and Im beginning to wish I didnt have the whole of the hot summer with the children off school to go.Ive been feeling really emotional lately too just need to be loved and kissed and cuddled but OH always seems too tired too busy or too grumpy. Have been trying to get house cleaned and decorated but my swollen ankles and bump keep getting in the way really wish I could afford a holiday. Anyway back to the chores hope everyone is well

PinkTulips · 01/07/2006 12:58

you must be exhausted with all those kids to run around after dreamy. are some of them old enough to mind the younger ones while you put your feet up? either that or get some shild labour going and have them do the cleaning for their pocket money

cry fest sounds good right now melsy, calmer at the minute as dd is still asleep but i know it'll be 10 after she wakes before i'm having a nervous breakdown again. just keep thinking 'how am i supposed to do this with a newborn?'. maybe it's just that dd was such a difficult baby for so long that has me so nervous.

melsy · 01/07/2006 13:15

hi dreamydowler , have we met before? Or am I going to embaress myself as you are already on here ??!!!

How old are your lo's?

Welcome to the hormone horror corner !!!

PinkTulips · 01/07/2006 13:44

aaarrgghhh! dd is awake and has spent the last 10 mins repeatedly showing me a paticular tile on the kitchen floor as if it's the most important thing in the world and getting cross when i don't understand what she's showing me! i've a good mind to head back to bed!

lunavix · 01/07/2006 18:19

Sweating my arse off today, listening to dh and pil swear at tv at argentinian ref!

have anaemia (docs found out at 28 weeks apparently but decided not to tell me. Only found out as I asked after practically fainting walking the 10 mins to surgery!) also have thrush (URGH. Have never had this before and it's GROSS) and the hayfever is still running high.

Dh still hasn't finished ds's wardrobe, although he has buggered up a shelf. Feeling pretty shitted off all round really!

eenywifemum · 01/07/2006 19:25

Luna - I'd be SO annoyed with your docs if I were you!! You should KNOW that so you can help make it better! God that is so unfair. I get so angry when medical 'professionals' let us down.

Melsy dont worry about coming on here and talking about how you feel, we all do! It's ok!

Arabica - you are SO not the only ungainly pregnant woman! Take comfort in that. Salamander keeps trying to get me to stay home when we go out food shopping as I slow him down... but as I am home every day I usually want to go just to get out of the house.

Booby - how was the wedding? Hope you stayed cool.

I was sick last night and feel really nauseous today so I am not happy about that. Tomorrow and Monday Sal and I are going to be really busy as Monday is his BIRTHDAY!! He doesnt know what we are doing though, it's a surprise.

Hope everyone is keeping well!

eenywifemum · 01/07/2006 19:29

meant to say - I had to buy a new bra yesterday so rather than waste money on a maternity bra I got a nursing bra. I was a 36C/D before I got pregnant - this bra is a 40E!! What the hell happened??? I know your ribcage expands when you are pregnant but THAT MUCH?? I'm not huge or anything, I am still wearing size 12-16 maternity clothes... Cant believe that. E!

PinkTulips · 02/07/2006 12:15

eeny, i wasa 34c before dd, and now a 38d is too tight, i'm too stubborn to go any higher though, just wander a round without one

Arabica · 02/07/2006 14:42

Am dreading to think what size I am going to be, my nursing bra was a J cup with DS! Am wearing a too-tight 38DD at the moment (was 36D before). Going to get fitted a few days before my C-section.
It's bloody hot, innit? I'm indoors, 'working'. Can't concentrate. At least it's too hot even for me to stuff face with chocolate today! Fancy an ice-cream but don't fancy walking to shops to buy one. And a Pimms, and yes (can't remember who said it) I've been craving cigarettes too! Even though I am asthmatic and gave up smoking years ago. Just the idea of it is nice.

PinkTulips · 02/07/2006 18:24

i've got a bottle of róse that somebody gave me while bf-ing that i was saving for when i finished (ha-ha, jokes on me!). it's sitting on the shelf taunting me. i see it everytime i go to the fridge but dp doesn't drink so if i open the damn thing i'll end up going through it all and i don't think that would be a wise move!

spent all last night and today fighting with dp, slept in dd's room and sobbed for most of the day. think i'd kill someone for that cigarette by now! not even sure what we were fighting about... my preg hormones and him having just given up fags had a bit of a collision

arabica, that J cup must be impressive to behold! i think mine are huge when they're a DD when my milk comes in. that said they went so rock solid and i felt so thin after losing the bump i was walking around feeling like a barbie doll for weeks!

Arabica · 02/07/2006 18:44

I bought myself a couple of little bottles of M&S Cava the other week, they're the kind supermodels have at fashion shows with a straw. Thoroughly recommended!

melsy · 02/07/2006 19:57

OOh Id love a rose champers right now ,might help me write my birth plan thoughts , as need them for my meeting with midwwife vulnrable mummy carer person. Im getting nervous , as she may have got hold of my notes from last time now.

Pink Tulips are we living the same life , dh and I also barnied all yesterday morning , so I locked myself in bathroom to cry down phone to sister. I wont say what its all about on here. Hes just not being to supportive , especially with everything Im going through.I hope he doesnt see this , hell probably get upset Im saying so on here , as some MNers know me.

eeny poor you hun being sick , I must say one look at all the food brought back from shopping had me running to the loo.

Luna , how ridic about them not telling you of the anemia , have they put you on tablets ? Just eatn LOADS of fruit , IM so bunged up otherwise.

Booby how was the wedding ? Hows the horror hormones ? Is it reaching crescendos like alot of us it seems ?

Arabica , listen to us previous , puffing, boozy birds !!!

I think the babies droppped even more overnight , as my mum said its sloping more at the top and I cant seem to put my legs together, feels like baby is sitting right on my lap. Brought on nasty sciatica pain this morning.

OMYGAWD is this heat making everyone feel like theyve gone into slow motion ? Make it stop !!!!!!All I can do to cool down is flannel myself with water and stand starkers in front of our huge fan in the bedroom !!!!!!

PinkTulips · 02/07/2006 20:05

melsy, i got one of those little hand held fans in the pound shop the other day, dead handy for slouching on the couch in the evening. your dh sounds like my dp... he's actually used the excuse 'i forget your pregnant' on several occasions after picking a fight when i've been a bit snappy! how he can forget with the size of me i don't know! he's pissing meoff now though as i'd really like to get some rest before the baby comes and he's just not helping out as much as he should be,

i've seen the add for the cava on tv arabica, with the rasberry and pomegranate thrown in... mmmmmmmmmmm. might treat myself this week

Arabica · 02/07/2006 22:30

I feel for you, as my DH is only now being helpful (smug emoticon). He's not been provoking arguments, but he has been in a bit of denial about the baby due to its potential problems, taking the view that we don't know anything yet so why worry, when I am reassured by knowing all that could possibly go wrong, whilst at the same time taking less of an interest in talking to the bump and feeling for kicks, etc, than he did when pg with DS. But on Fri he came home with a little toy for it and this evening he has dug out a couple of baby thingsa bouncy chair and one of those inflatable nest thingsfrom the hall cupboard.
